This spray is amazing, I love using it to top up my facial SPF during the day when I don’t want to rub cream SPF using my hands when I’m out. It applies just as well over makeup as it does a bare face. It’s not greasy but isn’t drying either and the mist is so fine that you don’t have to blend it out at all. I close my eyes when I apply it but it doesn’t sting them at all and doesn’t smell strong. It is an aerosol spray so comes out quickly and does cover a big area so you can’t do it in a confined space or in strong winds. I’m strong sun I like to spray it on my scalp in my hair parting as I can easily burn there and it doesn’t make my hair look particularly greasy.

I bought this to use as a reapplication of SPF over makeup. It comes out like a fine mist and just needs to be patted into the skin with your finger or a beauty sponge. Smells great and didn’t break me out BUT I’ve used this product for less than a month and it’s already used up. I’m not using drastic amounts just an even coverage over the face. Plus I have been using the Garnier SPF spray as well as this and alternating between to two to see which I prefer. Really disappointing as it’s a lovely product but wouldn’t repurchase purely for the amount you’re getting for the price.

LOVE THIS! I am very prone to burning and hate going to summer outdoor gatherings when you’re dressed up with full makeup but know you really should be reapplying sun protection (especially to your face) but are hesitant as it will spoil your face makeup. This is sprayed over makeup and isn’t greasy or shiny. Can’t recommend enough. I even used it on my shoulders, arms and décolletage this weekend. Just fab and small enough to fit in a small handbag.
I’m very pale and burn easily, so was looking for SPF I could use across a sunny day without the mess and greasiness of reapplying suncream. This product has been very successful in preventing me from burning. Easy to apply and can be done over makeup. Sometimes it doesn’t apply evenly and I had some white patches, and in a dusty environment it collected a bit in lines on my face. It’s easy to fit in a bag but the small size does run out quickly. Shame the packaging isn’t recyclable. I’ll be re buying until I find a better version, liked this better than Supergoop’s top up spray as it was a lighter texture. Good for festivals.
Sprays are great for re-applying SPF throughout the day. This La Roche Posay spray is pretty nice over makeup, it doesn't "wet" the skin or add anything on top of it, you literally can't feel it after you apply. What's not perfect about this product is: 1) you finish the bottle really quickly if you apply generously (you should); 2) DO NOT INHALE IT! It creates a cloud in the air so I learned the hard way to not accidentally inhale it otherwise I would not stop coughing for like 10 minutes... All in all, you can't ensure even application with sprays so I use them only for reapplication over makeup. I always use SPF50 cream before makeup.
When it’s quite hot and sweaty- I tend to wipe my upper lip white a lot and last summer especially had “ sun moustache” - darker area above my upper lip. This year around - I was recommended by my cosmetologist to use this. It’s very light spray, that doesn’t leave marks on your face, can be applied on top of make up etc. quick spray and you are protected for several hours again. I tend to hold my breath when quickly spraying as it’s not advisable to inhale the fumes. Not sticky, more like a mist. And no sun patches yet. ( although not much sun yet ) but overall very satisfied.
I have tried for years to find a sunscreen for my scalp that didn’t leave my hair greasy. I have fine hair and in strong sunshine I have always had to keep my head covered. I must have tried all the products that are advertised as being suitable for the job, but until finding this, they all left my hair looking lank. This is an absolute game changer. The aerosol is small enough to carry in a hand or beach bag, or even in some pockets, so can be reapplied whenever needed. Despite its size, it seems to last a long time (depending of course on how often you use it, and whether it’s just on a parting, or the whole scalp and face). Expensive, but worth every penny.
Really amazed with this product. Went to America this summer for a week and used this. This product hasn't given me milia (fat granule) under my eyes after using it. It is a matte finish. The product is sprayed out evenly. It does have a strong smell when spraying the product out- I usually hold my breath and walk away from where I spray it. Just like all sunscreen product, make sure you re-apply them every 2 hours or so during the day so you are protected (even if it's not sunny!) I really like this product.
