I have used Anthlios sunscreens for over 7 years. As someone with a very oily t-zone, i was excited to try this product to see how it compares to the Ultra Light invisible fluide that I usually use.I love this sunscreen. It's not dry or heavy. It didnt leave a white or grey cast on my skin. It took only slightly longer to sink in than my usual LRP sunscreen. My t-zone didnt get oily for a number of hours.I have not worn this under foundatio , so cannot say how it will wear. I'm currently in an SPF testing phase having not found one I'm completely enamoured by yet. After getting lots of recommendations for La Roche Posay, I finally gave in and I don't regret it. It's a lovely formula - thick but not greasy in the slightest. It's very mattifying so often I wear it without make up on. It sits very nicely under make up and hasn't caused breakouts like I've experienced with other brands. Would 100% recommend

Finally caved in and bought this very hyped product. It is a very dry, thick consistency, which means it doesn't spread and can be quite difficult to rub into your face. I can see how this will cause "white cast" problems for some people, because you kind of have to pat it into the skin, and it is very thick. You will need at least 3-4 pumps to cover your face, so I imagine this small tube won't last long. However, it really does set very quickly completely matte. I have worn this all day and it has helped kept shine under control. I have combination skin. This may be a little drying for normal skin, or drier combination skin. It wears well under makeup. The packaging it nicely done, but the smell if horrible. I usually don't mind fragrance in my skincare, but this one sticks around nearly all day and gives me a headache. Also this is so hard to spread on the skin! You have to really rub it into your skin which ends up causing a lot of redness and irritation. The finish is really nice and delivers what it promises, but it's a pain to use.
Love the brand. Don't like this product. I have a T zone complexion, dehydrated cheeks. This is sticky to my skin. I did not notice any difference in my T zone area at all. It didn't irritate my sensitive skin or sensitive eyes. SPF is the first product I apply to my face each am, this on it's own or under make up felt sticky and then throughout the day I became paranoid my skin looked it. I prefer La Roche-Posay Anthelios for my type of skin.
I've used this SPF on my face for 3 years and will not consider anything else. As someone with acne prone skin, it provides great sun protection but does not lead to breakouts. It's not drying in the slightest. In fact in the summer months I use this in the day instead of a moisturiser. There is no white cast after applying, and makeup applies well on top of it. 5 stars from me.
Love the Anthelios range. I switched to this one as they seemed to have discontinued the ‘anti imperfections’ one that I loved, but this is a good replacement. It’s got a very slight caramel tint to it, I don’t think it shows up on the skin but it slightly blurs texture. There’s a slight fresh fragrance which I quite like. The only draw back is if you’re not careful it can pill under other products - generally I don’t wear foundation anymore so this is the top layer of my skincare but when I have put foundation over this, it can pill. Using a primer seemed to stop this happening so much.
I am a big fan of La Roche-Posay skin care products and bought this SPF suncream because of the promise to 'visibly reduce pores and imperfections'. I have large pores and thought this product would be ideal for me. However, when applied the cream gives your face a shiny glow drawing attention to the pores rather than diminishing the look of them. As sun protection it is excellent as you would expect from a manufacturer of this calibre but their dry-touch gel creams, ANTIHELIOS XL with an anti-shine ingredient are in my view far superior so I will stick with using these in the future.
I really liked the smell of this creamWhen I put it on. It smells really fresh with a slight fragrance I have smelt before but can’t place it.It glides on really well and is great even for dry patches on the skin.You don’t have to put a lot on either.I normally put a moisturiser and then put this cream on as it has a high spf. However I sometimes forego the moisturiser as this cream is so rich.I really like it it keeps my skin hydrated and glowing. But the best part is that considering I have sensitive skin, it doesn’t irritate it at all.
They lied to me LOL. This leaves a nasty white grey cast in melaninated skin. It's pretty greasy too. I've found some better since. I Do not recommend. You can barely use any skincare underneath its isn't as bad with just a toner but serums etc this does not wanna budget plus it takes so long to rub in. Get something else, thank you farmer, bondi sands, naked Sunday, the list goes on.
