As someone who's gone back and forth trying products for my very oily but also super dehydrated skin, let me tell you - it's been a struggle! I want something that doesn't feel greasy or oily but is powerful enough to make sure my skin maintains hydration and I've finally found it. This serum has been my saviour during the harsh weather we've had this winter, when I would usually experience sensitivity, and my skin over a couple of weeks has felt less thirsty and much softer and plumper. I've also been using this on my daughter who struggles massively with sensitivity in the colder months and it's worked beautifully on her drier/combination skin. It's definitely a winner all round!

It seems hydrating and sits well under my makeup. It is overpriced in my opinion. They need to change the dropper bottle as it scrapes along the sides when pulling the dropper out and ends up leaking out of the bottle and wasting expensive product. Pretty terrible design when you compare to the ordinary bottles. Terrible design even when not compared also! The dropper itself doesn’t pick up enough product and as easily as it should either. It’s hard to gauge how much you can pick up so you end up with too much or not enough. Not sure if I’d repurchase due to bottle issues and the fact I don’t feel it’s a game changing product since adding it to my routine.

I've been through countless tubes of the cicaplast balm so I was so excited when I've got the chance to try this. I use the balm as a mask as it can be a bit heavy for my skin but this serum gives me all of the cicaplast goodness with none of the breakouts. It leaves my skin plump and bouncy and my dry patches are now non existent. It would be a 5* product for me however I find a bit difficult to get the product out of the pipette. Despite this its definitely a repurchase for me.

Thank you to beautyheaven for the opportunity to trial this. Love La-Roche Posay serums. Packaging is always very sturdy and well made. The bottle is white, I would prefer a transparent bottle. The dropper is made of glass and because the serum is not runny, I find that it doesn’t pick up alot of product and is slightly messy. Still manage to get the product out though which is fine. The serum itself is white and not runny. It doesn’t really smell like anything to me which is ok. It spreads on the skin very easily and absorbs quickly. Instantly hydrating and after a week or two of use, the skin definetly looks more hydrated and plump. It didn’t break me out either which was a bonus. Overall quite happy with it and would repurchase

Using the dropping, I applied a few drops of the serum to my palm first and gently pat it on my skin with my fingers. The whitish-coloured serum has a good texture - light, not sticky and spreads smoothly. It soaks into my skin within seconds. Dry spots are immediately soothed; skin elasticity has improved, and overall my skin looks well moisturized. My only complaint is the dropper, I can’t get the serum out after fiddling around with it. Like most people after winter my skin was in need of some tlc. In and out of heating my skin had been dry and in some spots flaky. After cleansing my skin morning and evening I then applied a couple of drops of the serum using the dropper provided to the palms of my hands and gentle pressed it into my skin. The serum is white in colour and lightweight, my skin soaked it right up and my skin didn’t feel tacky afterwards. My skin felt as if it was instantly comforted and hydrated and as each day passes I have noticed less flakes, a more smooth and softer appearance and well moisturised skin. What a way to dip my toe into La Roche Posay. The SPF is a cult favourite in the office but this is my first venture into LRP and it did not disappoint. Suffering from a dry and chapped face after a lovely cold and this is the hug my skin needs. So incredibly soothing and provides immediate relief especially in the sensitive areas around my nose and mouth. I combine with a few hydrating products and this is the only product that doesn't sting or cause any sensation other than soothing and relieving any tightness. The 10% B5 works it magic immediately, just wow.
