I love all things LRP but had not tried the cicoplast range. My skin was feeling very dry and damaged due to winter and my new found obsession with retinol! This cream was recommended as a skin saviour and I totally agree! It’s quite thick and greasy so maybe not great for some skin types but used as a night cream for a few days and it transformed my dry, flakiness into something that resembled my normal skin. A go to for when your skin needs a bit of TLC.

Already on my 5th tube. The products work so well for all seasons, especially in my case. I use Retinoid and Direct Acids in my skincare and whenever I do my skin feels a little itchy and irritated, but this Baume helps with that. And not to mention the excellent benefits of this in winter. Layering up with the moisturizer in the morning, my skin feels hydrated all day, and I have no dry skin under a face mask. Worth every penny.

This is such a ‘all round’ product. I’ve been using it for about a year now for as a facial moisturiser for times when my skin feels very dry and it it helps lock in moisture and my skin looks visibly more hydrated after using this. I have also used it on small scars and on minor cuts and bruises and it speeds up healing time. Also used as a facial barrier from wind and rain when hiking in the mountains and my skin was much less red than it would be otherwise when exposed to adverse elements. There’s nothing this little balm can’t do! Highly recommend!

I have oily, acne prone skin with dry patches around the cheeks and due to numerous exfoliation efforts to keep blackheads at bay, my skin often feels vulnerable and irritated (red post-acne marks are more emphasized and prominent). Also, I have found that some serums contradict acids present in last-step moisturisers so I needed a nice hydrating cream without any active ingredients and which at least wouldn't exacerbate or cause spots. This balm is a miracle! Not only it provides rich hydration but it also calms and heals the skin barrier which has been processed through a lot of exfoliation/acid peels, etc.! It's early days for me but I also noticed that it diminishes my large pores too. I couldn't believe how nicely this rich cream soaks in into my skin. I love this stuff so much! I keep it everywhere in my house- next to my bed, my bathroom, my kitchen, my medicine cabinet, my purse, etc. I use it as a nighttime moisturizer for my face and when I wake up my skin is glowy and so incredibly soft. I use it on my kids face in the winter too if I notice dry skin from playing outside! It’s also amazing for dry knuckles and hands! I was skeptical when I first tried it because I thought it would break me out, but it hasn’t! It is definitely thicker so if you have super oily skin I don’t know that you’d want to put this on your face, but my skin is very much normal (sometimes leans a little oily) and I love it so much
I've been testing this great balm for quite a while nowand I am very satisfied! It not only protects the skin barrier, but also has a beneficial effect on irritated and dry skin. Especially in the cold season I struggle with redness and dry spots. Since I've been caring for them with La Roche Posay in the evening, they've disappeared in the morning and I can feel the skin feeling great. I also think it's great that it's suitable for the whole family.
I have super dry/sensitive skin and recently diagnosed with psoriasis. My frequents flare ups consist of raw, raised dry itchy scaly skins on my cheeks, arms & legs. I tried & lost so much money on various prescriptions & over-the-counter products which caused different reactions. I was skeptical when I purchased Cicaplast Balm B5 but to my surprise, there is NO allergic reaction. I am over the moon to get some topical relief. The raw and raised skin went away (within only a few days). With this being said, I did notice that my skin is drier than usual. I am not sure what caused it but I plan to reduce the usage frequency (currently using 3 times/day) to see if it would reduce the dryness. Hope this helps.
I've found this thick cream is excellent for treating occasional bouts of skin irritation or extreme dryness. Heals any discomfort within 2-3 days and is very effective when used with the La Roche-Posay (or Avene) thermal water spray.Best used at night, although I have found it very good as a daytime protective barrier cream in very cold weather. It contains zinc which can leave a slight white film on darker skins but not a problem as it absorbs easily and works well under makeup.A great product to keep handy for skincare problems.
This cream is a god send. I had an allergy flare up on my face which was both painful and unsightly - I purchased this on a whim with little hope of it working but boy was I wrong. Not only did it soothe my inflamed skin, it actually helped with the healing process repairing my skin much faster than it does without using this cream. Highly recommend to anyone who suffers with eczema/dermatitis/sensitive skin. This is a really lovely rich cream so a small amount goes a long way or I do a nice thick layer as a moisture mask before bed.
