I recently changed my skincare routine to being all La Roche Posay products. I am incredibly oily and I used to get spots/acne frequently and no matter what I would use on my skin it was never enough to keep them away, but this product is amazing alongside the effaclar astringent lotion and the effaclar micro peeling gel. I completely recommend this product!

I'd highly recommend them to anyone suffering with problematic skin - 10/10 from me! :)

This is amazing… every week before the TOTM I get lots of spots on my chin. I’ve tried all sorts, but this really works! I use the serum and this. The serum is a must have too! Between the two, it’s so far handled a very angry spot under my skin, the size of a 5p which shrunk overnight and is now tiny and no red mark… I can still feel a tiny lump, but this range is worth every penny! So pleased

Recently bought after suffering menopausal acne for several months. After only a couple of applications there was a real difference. Existing spots were dried up and less red and virtually no new spots formed. It isn't too drying either. It might seem expensive but you don't need much and it really does work. Highly recommend.

I use the Effaclar purifying cleansing gel in the morning and at night - leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed. In addition, for spots that have just appeared I apply the A.I Breakout Corrector at night to target individual spots and by the morning, they are less red, less sore and noticeably smaller. Every morning I apply the Effaclar duo moisturiser (I use this as a primer for makeup). On bad skin days, instead of using my usual foundation, I like to use the Effaclar duo tinted moisturiser - coverage is good (I will sometimes have to use a concealer as well to cover redness).Overall I’ve had great results with the Effaclar range. For years I used a brilliant spot gel, but it tended to dry out the surface of my cystic spots without helping to reduce the actual inflammation. This is the best of both worlds. It really reduces swelling and cystic spots and works fast. I can see the difference overnight, although cystic spots do take longer as they’re just so deep in the skin. An absolutely brilliant product and highly recommended.

I have been using this for years and I always have it on hand for emergencies. It doesn’t work miracles but is extremely effective & in a quick reduction of the spot & clear up. I keep to the affected spot as much as possible as it can be over drying if you over apply. This along with Effaclar Duo are an emergency must for me. I recently had an horrendous outbreak on my cheeks a mixture of stress and perhaps the use of another brands regime was too much and irritated my skin. I remembered I had this in my bathroom cabinet and promise you that within a week the worst had cleared up and two weeks later my skin is clear and balanced again.
After a skin consultation, I placed my order with lookfantastic. I have (had) combination skin with hormonal acne along the jawline, and this used along with other la Roche posay products is an absolute lifesaver! It does dry a little white&crusty, so I tend to just use on an evening and wash off in the morning. Dabbing a small amount on my jawline hormonal acne lumps and any random spots on my face and by morning the swelling has reduced.
Having hormonal acne that wouldn’t shift I purchased this after being TikTok influenced! And wow; it’s made a difference to my acne scars and actual acne in a week. The product is a moisturiser. Very light. Fragrance free. Will never not buy.
