I have been experiencing some painful, but small blemishes and dry areas of skin recently, due to poor health. This left parts of my complexion feeling irritated and sore. I recently started adding Effaclar H Moisturiser into my evening routine as my skin was looking increasingly red & sensitive, particularly on my cheeks. I’m so glad I’ve discovered this product, it’s making a significant difference within just a couple of days & my skin feels like silk when I wake up (rather than red & thight which it was before). It’s so good to discover a product that works so well for sensitive blemished skin. I love how it soothes and calms my skin & you can see how quickly it gets to work strengthening the skin barrier so it feels & looks healthier. It’s definitely doing what I wanted it to do, reducing redness & helping to minimise my blemishes & blackheads.

I love la Roche-pissu products . I use a few products from their range. I recently purchased this La Roche-Posay Effaclar H Iso-Biome Moisturiser and I love it so much. It’s made a huge difference to my face. I have sensitive skin at times and I was looking for a good cream after my skin flared up cz of a cream. I felt this will help calm down my skin. And it did just that. I love how soft it made my skin. It calmed down the skin flare and hydrated my skin well without making it oily. I am 37, I have a sensitive oily blemish-prone skin, dehydrated by many anti-acne products (retinols and acids). For many years, everyone told me that my skin barrier is broken and I need a good moisturizer. AIso I don’t use any products that cause over drying so wasn’t sure if this product was right for my skin type. My skin is very sensitive so the wrong products for my skin would make my blemishes a lot worse and my skin to go very red. However I have been very pleasantly surprised with this product. I have been using the moisturiser every day for over a week and find it very hydrating. I don’t need to use much at all either. It leaves my skin looking like it’s been moisturised. It has onky been a week since ive started using this cream and i have to say, that so far and by far it is my favourite product sent by La Roche. For the past 3 weeks I have been going through bereavement after suddenly loosing my fiance. I have not been paying attention to my skin needs, and over the last 3 weeks it became dull, dry, flacky, very unhealthy looking. This cream is slowly changing it. With oily and fairly sensitive skin it is providing me with required hydration. It has a rich comforting feeling yet is doesn't make it looking oilier. No offensive smell or formula.
I have been using effaclar H moisturiser for several years and recommended it to family and friends. In combination with LRP cleanser, it completely changed my skin from dry, irritated, acne break outs to clear, glowing, healthy and moisturised. However, the formula changed a few months ago and after application it now feels like a film sitting on my face. The moisturiser pills, I’m experiencing a lot of break outs, and my skin is visibly dry. Very upset that the formula has been changed and I am now on the search for a new moisturiser as I won’t be buying the new and unimproved effaclar H again.
I have loved effaclair H since I was first recommended it, and have been using it for over 10 years. I recently stocked back up with 3 tubes as I usually do when I'm running out. At first I thought maybe I ordered the wrong product and it had a fragrance to it and I noticed it wasn't moisturising my skin like before. I checked my order and saw a review mentioning the same as me, a new but worse formula. Please bring back the original. It's far better. I'm so disappointed as always felt paying more for this cream was so worth it. Now I'm stuck with 3 tubes of moisturiser that isn't a patch on the old version. Sad sad sad :(
This lotion along with the face wash has almost transformed my problem area, T-zone into a something manageable that I do not think I have had in really long time. It is really helping me recover my skin barrier. please do not stop making this!. It feels so good to know that those little plugs on my nose were becoming oxidized and brown and had to be picked out because something was not right with my skin barrier. It is the best feeling in world to be able to wash face, put lotion on and not have to worry about crap sticking out of your pores. This is really changing my skin and I love it. I will say I also use benzoyl peroxide which I had never dared to use on my T-zone and I am sure that is helping as well but I am only able to do that because the face wash is ... This is a great moisturiser. I get breakouts in the summer months. Not really any other time. I switch to this for a couple of months and it sorts my skin out (along with the cleanser in the range), then I go back to more hydrating/thicker products for autumn and winter. My nephew has acne skin and he has used it. It calms his flare ups but isn’t a miracle worker. It counteracts the drying effects of other acne products.
