I always clean my face in the morning and in the evening. I have been using this creme lavante and I really like how my skin feels after its use. It feels clean and hydrated. It is perfect for the body too, but I specially have sensitive skin in my face and with this cleansing cream, I feel my skin moisturised and not itchy, dry or irritated, supporting the gentle formula developed by La Roche Posay. I totally recommend it! The smell is very nice too. It is easy to rinse and you only need to employ a small amount

I bought this product at the beginning of the month as my previous La Roche Posay cleanser had ran out. I saw this was new in Boots so thought I would give it a try. I have very sensitively blemish-prone skin, and I find most cleansers for acne-prone skin to be too drying on my dehydrated skin which ends up making my breakouts even worse. I’ve been really enjoying using this cleanser. It foams up lovely which I really enjoy, and leaves my skin feeling soft and nourished without being drying. I’m using this in conjunction with Clinique ABS toner and Bioderma Sensibio Rich moisturiser, and my skin is staying clear. I will definitely be repurchasing this, and look forward to trying the Effaclar-H moisturiser in future.

This cleanser is good for skin with blemishes. It reduces redness and calms skin a bit. Not a miracle worker but it’s good. Acne skin is hard to manage & is a bit of a balancing act. This cleanser is a little drying by nature but used in combination with the moisturiser in the range it counteracts the drying. I have used for my 40s skin that breaks out in summer and it calms my skin with the moisturiser being used to sort out any dryness. My nephew has used for acne skin and it helps him too, so suitable for a variety of ages and skin needs.

I like this cleanser. It's not drying, slightly foaming, not excessively though. It doesn't sting my eyes (I have very sensitive eyes). I don't use waterproof mascara or long-wear makeup, but it cleansed perfectly my tinted spf. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is the bottle. I don't know what it is, but I find this bottle a bit flimsy. Would be brilliant in a pump version.
This La Roche-Posay Effaclar H Iso-Biome Cleansing Cream is great. All La Roche products never fail to deliver. This cleansers my skin very well without striping off all the oil. It gently remove the access oil and dirt without making my skin dry. After using this and washing my face my face felt super fresh and clean. This lasts a long time as well. I highly recommend to include this La Roche-Posay Effaclar H Iso-Biome Cleansing Cream to your skin care regime. Works brilliantly and it’s really easy on your skin.
I have had some health issue recently, which threw my complexion out of whack. Ive been getting lots of small but painful spots on my chin and around the nasal fold. My complexion was also dry and irritated in parts due to new medication.I upsed this cleanser as the 2nd step of my cleasing routine. In combination with the other effaclar products i use, i saw a huge difference in less than a week.Its non-drying, creamy and foams really well. My complexion felt cleansed, but not stripped.Highly recommend for sensitive, combination skin which is prone to blemishes
I have sensitive rosacea prone skin so I would say my skin is very delicate.I really like this cleanser as it doesn’t irritate my skin at all after use. Some cleansers I have used in the past have caused my skin to have a burning sensation. This cleanser is very soothing. I only need to put a little on and my skin feels clean and refreshed. It also doesn’t make my skin feel tight. Nor does it make my skin go red after use.This cleanser doesn’t say it is formulated for rosacea prone skin but in my opinion it’s fantastic for very sensitive skin like mine as it is so gentle.
The packaging has changed on this product so it's no longer the pump bottle. I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews about this as I loved the product and it had been great for my skin! After using the new formula for a few weeks now there's a couple of pro's and cons: PROS: My skin hasn't changed, it still works exactly the same! I actually prefer the new packaging too. CONS: I'm not keen on the smell, the old formula didn't really smell of anything but this definitely has a 'scent'. My skin is very sensitive and flaky after using my retinal treatment. I am so glad i found this cleanser. After using it consistently, Ive noticed it helps soothe my skin and cleanses my skin each time. Its powerful enough to remove make up and impurities when used as a double cleanse. Even after a few days Ive noticed my skin to be less flaky and more hydrated. It works best when used with the Effaclar H Moisturising Cream especially when using strong acne treatments which can dry out the skin.
I've used the Effaclar H Cleansing Cream in its previous iteration for years. It was my favorite cleanser: hydrating, gentle, and it didn't break me out. The new formula is abysmal. It's more of a foaming cleanser now, so it feels stripping. My skin is drier than before, the barrier is compromised, and I'm getting spots daily when they used to be a weekly occurrence. Why they have added shea butter I will never know, as this is known to be comedogenic for many with acne-prone skin (yet it's branded as 'non-comedogenic'). I really hope the old formula is brought back. Changed to Avène, whose Cleanance line has a similar product to the old LRP formula (non-foamy, no shea butter, not stripping).
