La Roche Posay Effaclar Matt Daily moisturizer is a great product. I love all products from this brand but especially this one. My oily skin looks perfect after using it, and it’s stays the same for entire day. It’s very gentle and do not cause any irritation on my sensitive skin.I’ve been using this for over 5 years or so and I can tell it’s irreplaceable. The best drugstore moisturizer ever. Price is very reasonable as well. I recommend it to anyone!! Make yourself a favor and buy one for yourself ❤️

Amazing!

I started using this product like 2 months ago, and it is a serious game changer. I was using the Effaclar line already, the face wash, the duo spot treatment, and sometimes the toner which dried my face out. I would always try lotions and it would break me out even more. Then I started using this treatment. I went from having like 4 new breakouts a day down to one or none. It’s also nice because it doesn’t give you that greasy film afterwards. I usually don’t write reviews ever, but this is one product that I would suggest to ANYONE. It helps break outs, it helps moisturize your skin, especially if you have combination skin like I do. Burns, Peels, Not Hydrating

I have oily acne prone skin and I bought this bc my derm recommended it to me. I tried it for 2 days and I hate it. Yes, it does conceal the oil but you have to rub/fight it to blend into your skin. It is not hydrating at all. Worst thing is that it peels. Watch out bc it has alcohol, silica, and fragrance. Also, it burns when i apply it to my skin?? i've been using Salicylic acid for months so this ingredient shouldn't have an affect on me. Lastly, the fragrance is so strong. In all, this product is not for me.

Just wish it came in a larger size!!

I absolutely love this moisturizer. I have a difficult time with some moisturizers because of the leftover oily feeling.. this moisturizer doesn't have that!! Also, this moisturizer is one of the few that doesn't make my acne worse when I use it, likely because of the salicylic acid component working well with my other skincare products. Be advised though, this moisturizer won't have the same dewy feeling as others. It goes on and your skin will feel supple but not greasy. I love that but I see other reviews who are surprised at the feeling. Anyways, only thing I'd change is offering in a larger size!!

My favourite face moisturizer

After about 6-months of consistent use I can say with confidence that this is far and away the best facial moisturizer I have ever used.I have tried many face moisturizers over the years and have always had trouble find one I like because I can be very prone to black heads and white heads in my t-zone. This is the only moisturizer I have ever used where that is not something I ever have to worry about.It is also SO good at its job that I do not have to use it twice a day in the winter and can even skip days in the summer making this product also very economical! I absolutely love it and it has become a stable in my routine!

Overpriced Face Lotion

This is yet another product from LaRoche that is too expensive for the small size that you get. I think it is an average face lotion oil free, but you get such a small amount it's not worth it. Be cautious when buying online to make sure you know what the size is. LaRoche has lost a lot of my business because of this. You could actually purchase a much higher end brand if you do the math vs. the tiny amount you receive. SS from L'Oreal is definitely better. So sad!

This product has changed my life

As a 55 year old woman with oily skin…I’ve never been able to wear moisturizer. This product is what I’ve been searching for all of these years. I’ve tried a few other oil free moisturizers over the years but finally gave up. They all left my face a greasy mess by lunchtime. This one moisturizes my skin and is the perfect base for my foundation. My makeup has never looked better. Please do not EVER quit making this…..signed—a very grateful customer 😊

Works but not perfect and TINY

The first time I tried the product, my face was completely Matte and it controlled my oil all day. I liked that it controlled my oil but it felt a little too matte/powdery. I've been using it for a month now, and I feel like my face got accustomed to it and is now still producing a lot of oil. It could be my other products or the higher temps, but it's def not the 90%-95% oil control I experienced at the beginning. Also, this bottle is tiny and only lasted me one month. I may start using this in the morning only and a different at night to conserve the next bottle.

super!

I am 24 years old and I always have rashes on one cheek, especially before menstruation. I accidentally bought this cream in a pharmacy and used it in the morning and at night. I am very surprised that the cream coped with the rashes in two weeks and now I have only traces left! This is just a super cream for the last 3 years! (I tried this brand before about 5 years ago, and it didn’t help me, maybe another cream). I advise everyone! Now I can drink coffee with milk because I used to think that my breakouts were due to lactose hehehe. Thank you! Today I bought a second cream!

hey everyone ! so I personally have extremely oily skin and I've been really searching for a cleanser and moisturizer that helps me and I fr have gone through so many brands but I recently bought this moisturizer and paired it with the cleanser meant for oily skin and let me tell you , it works but too well. I've never had dry skin in my life but after using this moisturizer, my skin is like the Sahara desert. It burned for a few minutes after putting it on then left my skin so dry that it felt like I was wearing a clay mask. It works ! I didn't have any problems with an oily face after but it had my skin so dry, it was so uncomfortable.
