You do have to be consistent with it though if you want to see changes. I put it on every morning after my using my other skin care products and in the evening. Great product

I am really happy with the effaced duo + and to find a product that could be used as a tinted one to cover the reddness I couldn’t resist. I really like the colour as my skin is slightly tanned. Not recommended for people with white skin unless if you like light toffee colour make up. But it’s up to you. One disappointment is that the product does peel off your skin if mixed with other creams. So make sure your skin is dry and clean before applying. If you plan to go out use this. If not best not to wear it at home as if you are like me my acne needs time to breath and heal. I am desperate to find the perfect tinted moisturiser. This will have to do as it has healing properties and covering properties which is what I need.Thanks.

Lovely tinted moisturiser

Lovely tinted moisturiser. I bought medium first as not fair complexion but was too dark. Will save it for summer when I get some tan. Bought light and is perfect. It improved condition of my skin. The only downside is dried skin a bit so got to use good moisturizer at night & something light before using this. Still better than using foundation which just cakes up the face. Also there should be seal of little silver or paper on the tube to ensure it hasn't been used before. Hence rating 4 not 5.

Makes you dry but great for spots

I haven’t got perfect skin however this moisturiser definitely gives my skin a healthy glow. The product is lightweight non greasy and quickly absorbed into the skin. I have been using it for the past 2/3 days and has slightly reduce some of my pigmentation I have also not seen any new spots appear. The product has a signature sent that seems to be present with the whole range. Overall it’s a nice moisturiser that makes the skin appear healthy. Definitely has some good skincare ingredients in there and I would buy myself. I would say however that if you are super dehydrated like myself that you would need to pair it with a serum and other additional products.

So, I usually never write reviews for products but I've struggled with acne for about six years now. I've tried countless skincare products and also a few prescriptions (topical and oral). My acne cleared for a bit when I was taking an oral prescription but it was not a long term kind of medication and I had to stop taking it. I started using it, and I kid you not, there was a visible difference after one use. When I finished that tube, I bought another in March, and I just finished that one today. Now, I don't know whether it is me growing out of teenage acne or this product, but my skin has seriously and significantly cleared. It could be a combination of both, but I know that when I neglect this product and then go back to it, it clears whatever acne developed in its absence. I'm so so grateful that I've found something that works after struggling for so long. The texture/consistency is also amazing and doesn't feel too heavy. I've never had a product before that's worked so fast and continued working. I was initially hesitant because it's a bit pricier than other products, but it is so incredibly worth the price. Orange but okay!

I was so disappointed when I opened my order and realized I ordered tinted version instead of regular by mistake but... I gave it a chance. It seemed sooo orange, almost too orange when I tested it on my hand. I was sure I will not use. But needed this cream as its the only one that seems to help with clogged pores. I used it when at home. And when had it on on my face, I felt great, just like I did when used original. Consistency is even slightly better than original. This version does not roll under fingers like plain used to when too much was used. It looks radiant, a little healthier due to colour. I use no7 cool vanilla shade, need to be careful not to use too much of this and cover neck as well. Stays matte (except for the nose when I get sweaty). Breakouts at first but cleared out within a week. That's what it does for me but long term effects are worth it (you can tell when you stop using it that skin gets so much more clogged). So overall I recommend but test shade first if you have bright skin. I am not sure if will buy again, would definitely do if wider colour range was offered.

Orange undertone in light shade, application issue

I bought this product as the untinted version was out of stock on boots website and decided to give this a try. What a regret. This was a waste of money for me. I really don’t recommend.Firstly the light shade has a very orange undertone. This makes it very unsuitable for my pale cool toned skin. If in doubt about the shade, I really recommend trying a sample. As I have a full tube of this now, and if it wasn’t as expensive I’d likely bin it.Even if the undertone was suitable, I still don’t think I’d like this product. My second issue is that I had to change my skincare routine to use this. It pills and separates with other serums I used to use in the morning so in order to use this, I had to stop using them. It is not very moisturising so if you’ve combination skin - this is not good for dry patches. However, you can’t apply many moisturisers over this product as it is very intolerant of other moisturisers/ skin care products. Although I did put makeup on over this and barring the primer, everything else sat well.I have found I can see where I rub this product in a lot, it leaves lines where you applied it depending on which way you tried to rub it in. I have spent a good few minutes in the morning trying to ensure there are no streaky marks on my face from this product. Never had an issue like this before with a product.On the plus side it only takes a small amount each use but that’s a negative for me as it’ll last even longer.

Waste of money

I have been using the Effaclar foam cleanser, toner, and acne treatment for 3 months. I have pimples (with white heads) and blackheads reoccurring daily, also older blemishes that are NOT clearing up.Prior to buying, I used the resources that are provided on the website to ensure I would purchase the correct products. I also used the AI scan, and purchased what was recommended.These products are expensive, and I had high hopes.I have had to buy $10 blemish patches that work better than these products. I put a patch on, and my break out is gone within 1-2 days, tops.Unfortunately, my experience, is just not worth the cost. But the foaming face cleanser is very gentle on my skin, which is the only good thing that came out of this experience.
