I used it for a few days, just to be certain that my skin wasn’t abnormally dry. I’ll continue to use this product if I don’t have a non-foaming (or less foaming) cleanser handy, but it’s better suited for me to use as a body wash. That said, if you are somebody who likes to get rid of some of your natural oils, this will do the trick without it being overly drying. Overall, I would give this a 3/5 as a face cleanser and 4/5 as a body wash. As a face cleanser, it’s ok. But, this definitely has not made my “yay” list.

Caused me to break out

The first time I used this product, it was amazing. Gentle, cleansing and it felt so great on my skin. Then the product sold out for months and I couldn't find it again. Well I ordered it when it finally became available again -- and this second time I used it the product broke me out in hives EVERYWHERE. I used it for body and face -- and I kept double-checking to be sure I got the same thing. Yes... I did. I have mildly sensitive skin, semi-dry with no skin issues. Now, 10 days after using it I still have heightened skin sensitivity. darkened jawline, and very dry skin from the hives that are subsiding on my face -- and scaly patches on my arms. I don't know who this new formula is for -- but Dr. Bronner's is better to my skin than this.

I ordered this and had it sent while on vacation to help my breakout of eczema. It is gentle but not moisturizing at all. My skin felt very dry after getting out of the shower before using lotion. It did nothing to help my eczema. It smells like chemicals. The pump only puts out a very small amount at a time. It takes around 9 pumps to get the amount you need to wash your face and body. I will not buy this again. I was thinking high cost great reviews must be worth it. Nope, not in my case anyway. I have other products I use much cheaper with a higher amount. That actually does work and has no scent or only the natural scent. That smell way better than this. The smell does go away. But for me it cost to much to not really work. Must have for body wash

My esthetician who waxes me told me to switch to a new body wash as we discovered fragrance and ingredients were causing redness irritation and dry skin, even though it was a popular moisturizing wash. I needed to use moisturizer twice daily and my skin was still dry and flaky. I switched to this and in ONE use my skin changed. No texture or dryness, and so much hydration. Absolutely no fragrance or irritation whatsoever. I feel clean and i can go WITHOUT body lotion because of this body wash. I no longer have redness ingrowns or irritation and my skin looks and feels healthier. Will repurchase for life.

Not my favorite

I bought this because I really needed something for my sensitive skin and my dry skin. I thought this would be perfect because of the moisturizing properties. It's the opposite of moisturizing. Shortly after showering my skin is even more dry than it was before I went in. I've never had that happen with any other product. So incredibly dry. Smell is a tad weird, nothing horrible. My skin also just doesn't have that nice and clean feeling. I don't know how to explain it. The pump is awful, can hardly get any out with 1 pump. The only positive is it does seem to not bother my sensitive skin.

Not worth the hype

I ordered this because I had a bad case of eczema breaking out during my winter vacation. The pump only dispenses a small amount at a time. So you need like 9 pumps for your entire body. It did nothing to help my eczema. It actually got worse. I didn't feel hydrated after showering.I actually felt dried out. It smells like chemicals. It is highly overpriced for what you get. I do not recommend this. I have used much cheaper products that actually work and do help with eczema. When you slap the eczema label on there. People are buying because it supposed to work. It is too overpriced to buy something that doesn't work. I don't mind paying a high price for a product as long as it does what it says.This how ever does not. It might work for others but it didn't work for me.

Tretinoin/Perioral Dermatitis Life Saver

I don’t write reviews but holy crap this one knocks it out of the park. I’ve tried Cetaphil, cerave, avene, Aveeno, soon jung, etc and this one beats them all. Half a pump goes a very long way and after 2 months I’ve only gone through 1/5 of the bottle. Gets all dirt, sweat, sunscreen off your face easily. Feels like you’ve already applied a serum afterwards. I use tretinoin gel and love this so much! It soothes my perioral dermatitis too. I follow it with the Lipikar LOTION (not cream) and it has made my face so incredibly smooth with no breakouts!

Wish I could leave 4.5 stars; Good for the most part.

Ever since that day I've used this product every day when I shower, and it's worked great to clear up the acne on my upper back. It's the first product I've tried to use to clear up body acne, and the first one that worked, so ngl I can totally see myself just continuing to use this daily for maintenance...However, here's where the less than perfect score comes from. Like, it says it's for "face and body" but ngl this is staying on my body because whatever is in it absolutely destroys my face.But hey, like I said, maybe there's something going on with my skincare routine/diet/inconsistent use of products that's making it do all that. It's entirely possible I'm not using it under ideal circumstances. I'll certainly continue to buy it for a body wash though!An aside: I can't detect much of a difference in my skin's hydration ngl.
