La Roche Posay Lipikar Eczema Soothing Relief Cream

I started developing dry flaky red skin around my mouth. It was worse in the morning. It started feeling uncomfortable. I'm assuming it's ezcema. I had tried a few things and nothing helped. I found this while searching for eczema products. I was hesitant because several reviews talked about a weird fragrance yet it's not scented. It wasn't cheap, about $15-16 however it's a large tube for just my face. I've only been using it for a few days and the redness is almost completely gone, it doesn't burn or feel irritated anymore, the flakiness is almost completely gone. I personally didn't find there to be a weird scent to it like some had written about. It's a nice thick soothing cream/lotion and I'm thankful I took a chance on it.

This stuff is seriously amazing for dry skin! The first time I used it, I put it on before bed when I woke up the next morning I could feel a difference. My skin was so soft and even looked healthier! The only downside IMO is that it leaves a slight smell on my skin that almost smells like fried food lol. It’s fragrance free, but I think it might just be how the product reacts to my body chemistry. It’s only noticeable to me too. Overall, I’d definitely recommend! Despite being pricey, it’s so worth it. Best lotion I’ve ever used

If you have very dry skin, an impaired moisture barrier you want to heal, or a lot of itchiness you want to get rid of, you probably won't have an issue with applying this all over the face. I think this is probably too thick for most people to use as a daytime moisturizer, unless you're very dry and don't get oily. You can also use this on the rest of your body. The price is very reasonable for a huge tube of cream that most people won't be using every single day.

Great cream for daily moisturizing/healing

I was a longtime sufferer of eczema when I was young. As a young adult I moved to a humid climate which I believe helped my skin as I had fewer flair ups. Recently, now that I am 60, I had a flair up for a couple months. I attributed it to allergies, stress in the care of my 80+ yr. old mother, hydration etc. etc. Although Lipikar Eczema cream did not completely relieve all of my skin issues, a derm visit was needed with cortisone cream, it did assist in my healing. My derm gave Lipikar a thumbs up and told me to use it in conjunction with the cortisone cream until I am clear which right now, I am! I am now just using Likar as part of my daily/nightly moisturizer for my skin. Thank you La Roche-Posay!

Life changing product

I have had severe eczema on my hands for the past decade. Nothing has worked as well as this cream. I use it after every hand wash and whenever my hands are dry. It has changed my life. I have been to numerous dermatologists and used every prescription cream. I no longer need anything but this product. It has worked miracles. My quality of life has improved ten fold since purchasing this produce. I recommend it to whoever has eczema.

Perfect bridge treatment for eczema

I have terrible eczema on my hands that worsens in the cold & dry winter months. I'm talking cracked, flaking, and itchy. I have prescribed ointment that I use nightly, but this product is a perfect daily moisturizer that keeps them in good shape until nighttime. You can feel how moisturizing and soothing the product is immediately after application. I've tried a lot of creams that claim they relieve eczema-related irritation, but so far this product has done the most outstanding job. Would 100% recommend this to anyone suffering from eczema.
