La Roche Posay Lipikar Lait Lipid-Replenishing Body Milk (Severely Dry Skin) 400ml/13.5oz

This lotion has saved my face! Using strong prescription strength retinols can be so harsh and drying to my skin. This has helped protect and hydrate my skin so much. I use this before sunscreen on drier days and after applying other retinols or skincare products at night. I’ve even used this on my legs and arms after showering and they feel so nice and soft! This isn’t nearly as greasy as other thick lotions I’ve used. The amount you get for the price is a great value. This is probably the best drugstore skincare product I’ve ever used and will continue to use once it runs out. I’ve been using the same bottle for about a year now and still have a good amount left. If you use tretinoin or other retinols, this is an amazing product to use.

I love love love this lotion. I bought it in summer and it was perfect. It’s a lightweight formula (it absorbs completely in a few minutes), doesn’t leave a white cast, it’s very fresh feeling when applied, but at the same time it’s super hydrating (the following evening when I shower I can still feel a layer left). I repurchased it other 2 times, the second time I bought the 750 ml version. I have used it all winter now, adding it as a moisturizer for my morning and night face skincare routine. I love it even more. Totally worth the price.

A must have that tackles skin concerns!

I struggle to find body moisturisers that cater to my black skin. I find this to be hydrating definitely but not sticky and it leaves a nice sheen on all over my body immediately after using it, it eventually fades away throughout the day but my skin is still moisturised. This really helped improve the appearances of some dry patches that I had on my arms and legs. Ive been using this for weeks now, both in the morning and evening and I would say I’m just under half way through the bottle now. I would definitely repurchase

Bought for friends

I love this and I've bought it for friends, who also have chapped and cracked hands from the sheer amount of handwashing we do. Along with the Lipikar stick, this heals my hands overnight. Absorbs fast. My preferred healing hand cream! No particular scent, it's just pleasant, without any chemical smell. Stops pain and itchiness from chapped hands.

Great for dry skin

I bought this ages ago, but haven't really tried it. After going on holiday my skin got so dry and dehydrated and then I reminded about Lipikar Body Milk I have bought. I started to applying it every night after shower my for the srart my skin couldn't get enough of it it was so dry it just wanted more and more. O ce I started applying it every night my skin went back to normal and now looks very healthy, moisturized, soft and there is no signs of the previous dehydration and dry flaky bits. I like the consistency of the milk and how nice it is to apply it. Highly reccomending this body milk. It works perfect for me.

Hydrating

I have tried a lot of lotions over the years. However, none of them seemed to work for me until I discovered La Roche-Posay Lipikar balm. This lotion is so grear. It's the only lotion that has been able to keep my skin hydrated and flake-free all day long. I can apply it in the morning and still feel the effects hours later. I have never used much lotion or cream on my body, just here and there, but I am definitely using it every night now.Like the rest of their products, this is alcohol, essential oil and fragrance-free. It is safe to use from head to toe for everyone including babies.

I love Lipikar... but

Despite being a fan of La Roche and especially the Lipikar line, I absolutely hated this product. I had previously bought it and disliked it, but decided to give it a second chance. My mistake!! It is to thick, greasy and hard fot the skin to absorb (despite the fact that I have really dry skin). Your body feels "slippery" for hours after using it. It is also too thick for the product to be easily taken out of the bottle using the pump, and an hughe quantity remains at the bottom that you cannot take out. Will DEFINITELY not buy again.

One for everyone in the family

Never be without this ever again. It’s one of those go to products that you know will just work. Everyone in our household uses this product now. It’s really amazing and a little goes a long way. I use it on the kids when they have itchy, dry skin and I also like to use it when they have cuts and scrapes that are healed but just need a bit more help to stop them becoming scars. I really adore this product. It’s so easy to use. Love love love the pump as you can get product quickly and easily, a must for busy mummies!

The best body cream I’ve ever used

This has to be the best body cream I’ve ever used . I’ve tried so many lotions and this is the best to leave your skin glowing and soft all day . I’ve used it all summer all over my body and now going into the winter when skin is dryer with heating etc . My skin hasn’t peeled once after been away in the sun it’s amazing . I won’t be buying any other from now on

Wonderful

I don't think I'll ever buy another body lotion again. Originally bought for my son who suffers from mild eczema - he usually uses a very expensive foreign brand that you can only get from a few niche salons in the UK. Have been trying to replace with something more easily accessible yet as effective and have wasted so much money on different products until now! I have found the holy grail! So moisturising and long lasting without leaving greasy residue. How?? Skin feels healthy and protected, easily absorbed. It's honestly perfect. I know this because I tried a bit and have not used anything else since - will have to buy a few more bottles at this rate!
