La Roche Posay Toleriane Caring Wash Cleanser 200ml

This is definitely one of the best non-lathering milky cleansers I've used. I have dry skin so it really appreciates a cleanser like this that is free of foaming sulfates. It does a good job removing makeup but I would suggest first using a micellar/makeup remover before this cleanser, or double cleansing just to make sure it gets all the makeup off. I thought I wouldn't like this cleanser when I first used it because I'm so used to foaming ones, but I got used to it quickly and definitely see a difference in the moisture that is still left in my skin immediately after cleansing. Also, unlikely a lot of these no-foam cleansers, it doesn't leave any reside on the skin. This product was sent to me for review.\n\nFirst of all, this was a very generously sized container. I imagine it would last a long time! The packaging was easy to use and store, and did not leak. \nI found this to be an enjoyable product to use each night as it was very moisturising and did not dry out my normal/dry skin or leave a filmy residue behind. Unfortunately it wasn't able to remove all of my makeup and I needed to finish off washing my face with a miceller water afterwards. It had a lovely rich lather and also had no scent. Very gentle for those with sensitive and/or dry skin. I will continue to use the product and may consider purchasing once I'm finished. \n

I then use warm water and a makeup removal towel to complete the cleansing process. The creamy cleanser leaves my face feeling soft and smooth, and not at all dry. I have sensitive skin so am careful what products I use on my face. This face was is super gentle and very effective, it’s a slippery creamy gel like consistency and it glides over skin with gentle foam easily removing all makeup and grime without stripping precious oils and drying my skin. This feels lovely on my skin and after cleansing my skin feels so soft and smooth, I love that there’s no irritation involved with this product so great for anyone with sensitive skin. It’s great value as it lasts for ages as the tube is quite large and I don’t use a lot. There is not a lot of foam so stubborn waterproof mascara may need something stronger. Overall though I loved this cleanser and I would buy it again

It instantly cleans my face, removes all dirt and impurities. It is a very gentle cleanser and does not strip my skin. After each use my skin feels fresh and hydrated. This cleanser removes BB cream, blush or light makeup but it does not remove heavy foundation, waterproof eyeliners or mascara. Does not dry out your skin

Works well on my sensitive skin. Has brought alot of minor impurities to the surface of my screen in a purging process but has mediated so I do not have a break out because of it. I like it. After a month of use no more purging and it maintains clean looking skin. Does not dry out my skin. I recommend for sensitive skin.

Non stripping and gentle but bad packaging

This wash is so gentle and moisturing and really took my dry sensitive itchy winter skin back to hydrated and non sensitive. This wash does not remove make-up, I would remove makeup and sunscreen first with some micellar water. One negative is that the packaging sucks. The liquidy wash just pours freely out of the spout, so you end up wasting a lot of product when trying to dispense. A pump would be much better for the consistency of this product. I have to store mine upside down but still waste so much product when I try to use it. The lid and the tube near the lid also cracked for me after dropping it once, I wish I could get some replacement packaging.

Surprising allergic reaction

I'll preface this by saying I typically love all la roche-posay products. I normally buy the toleriane dermo cleanser but thought I'd try something new. This stuff made my skin red, blotchy and itchy so it's a no-go. I noticed this product has quite a few more ingredients than the dermo-cleanser, so if you're sensitive & have dry skin, I'd give that a try and avoid this one.
