La Roche Posay Toleriane Riche Soothing Protective Cream 40ml

This little cream is like a magic elixir for those of us suffering with dry, sensitive (hormonal) skin. It’s so very soothing and hydrates so deeply. It doesn’t sit on the surface of the skin like so many other products marketed to dry skin. It actually sinks in and makes your skin feel more balanced and noticeably softer to the touch. Plus, there is no scent, which is such an added bonus. It wears very well under makeup with no pilling. Instead, I feel it helps my makeup to glide on easier as my face is prepped. I am so grateful I found this product! My skin has been impossible this winter due to dryness. It is naturally dry but this winter in particular I’ve been having almost nonstop peeling and dry skin spots. It makes doing your makeup next to impossible and just doesn’t look or feel good. I used this product and within a week my skin was totally different. If anything it adds so much oil you have to go easy on it! My daughter also developed some small eczema spots and this worked magic on her skin also! I love that it is safe and formulated for the whole family, from infant to adult! Big fan.

Normally I use the CeraVe lotion, but since I like the LRP cleanser so much I decided to try their moisturizers. This cream nicely restores the moisture back into my cheeks without being heavy or irritating. My t-zone is not oily in the morning, and my cheeks feel very smooth. It seems like such a small bottle but it will last me a few months. I actually like how compact it is because it makes it easy to travel with. Now that the colder months are approaching, I'll have to see if this moisturizer holds up as well as it does now, but I completely recommend this product and this entire line. I have been using La Roche-Posay Toleriane products for several years now and have never been disappointed with the results they provide. My skin is highly sensitive and I have severe allergic reactions to most cosmetics and skin products (due to harsh chemicals, perfumes, dyes). Toleriane is one of two (the other is Avene) products that I can use on a regular basis as recommended by my dermatologist. Both La Roche-Posay and Avene are considerably more expensive than other products but worth every penny. I prefer Toleriane since I can always depend on its quality and effectiveness.

Fantastic Facial Moisturiser

Fantastic!! Look no further for a facial moisturiser that delivers results. I can't say enough good things about this cream. After 6 months my skin is blemish free and the redness and dryness has all gone. After receiving compliments about my age and being told i looked 13 years younger it definitely has to be LRP Tolerian. It won't happen overnight but it will happen.

Good for dry sensitive skin

Been using several weeks and very happy with this cream. I have very dry patchy skin and find this cream works wonderfully, keeping my face smooth and hydrated 24/7. Have just bought another tube as this will be my preferred moisturizer for the future. Also bought the cleanser and equally pleased with this.

La Roche-Posay

I can not speak too highly of this cream. I had very bad contact dermatitis after Christmas this year caused by dry hair shampoo that burnt my face and left it red, sore, dried out and corrugated looking with extremely wrinkled skin. It was shocking and very frightening. My usual combination of moisturiser and barrier cream couldn't touch it and after a couple of months or more it was getting no better or even showing any sign of improvement. My daughter told me about this cream and it felt very rich, thick and creamy when applied and stayed on my skin leaving it feeling soothed and moistened. Within a few weeks I could see a radical improvement and not long after that I could see it was returning to normal. I have very sensitive combination skin. This moisturizer is absolutely PERFECT. I have to toe the line in order to quench my very dry skin, yet not over-moisturize the areas that can get oily and break out. I have tried the super-expensive products. I always come back to TOLERIANE DAILY SOOTHING MOISTURIZER and TOLERIANE RICHE. They are my miracle products. So many moisturizers burn or irritate my skin. These moisturizers are soothing, hydrate my skin, and make me glow. I use the Daily Soothing Moisturizer mostly in the summer. In the winter, when my skin needs just a bit more love to combat the harsh weather, I use TOLERIANE RICHE. Tolerian Riche is really NOT too heavy to wear in the summer, but I do prefer the Toleriane Daily Soothing Moisturizer when it's hot ... MoreI have very sensitive combination skin. Now they are discontinuing these wonderful products. For what? I've tried the new Toleriane moisturizer. It's awful. While I did not break out, it did nothing for me. My skin was dry and uncomfortable right after using it. Don't even bother with it - it's garbage. I tried using foundation over the new stuff, and it balled up. Gross. I realize companies always try to put out "new and improved" products and formulas, but there is no reason to switch out a great, beloved moisturizer for a garbage one. It may be "new" but it's trading a Rolls Royce for a Hyundai. Please, La Roche-Posay, bring back the good stuff!!!
