La Roche Posay Toleriane Ultra 40 ml

This cream is closed in a comfortable and light package with a capacity of 40 ml, so it will certainly fit in any purse or while traveling 😊 To use it, just turn the dispenser to the side. The product has a light but rich consistency and almost odorless fragrance. When I got it, my skin was very dry, reddened, there were also visible dry cuticles that were hard to eliminate with any cosmetic. Imagine my surprise when it turned out that this inconspicuous cream with thermal water soothed my irritated and dry skin from the first use! 🧖 ♀️ With regular use in the morning and evening, I could say goodbye to redness and dry skin. The cream is quite efficient and is also great under makeup. This is without a doubt my favorite winter skincare! 🌨 ☃

Let me just start by saying I have seriously troubled skin. I have an autoimmune condition that really messes with all of my skin but especially the skin on my cheeks. They’re red, sensitive, and inflamed constantly. I have been through SO many different moisturizers, expensive and drugstore, trying to find something that is moisturizing enough for my dry skin, won’t break me out, and most importantly won’t burn the flared skin on my cheeks. My cheeks are still a bit red, but nothing close to the way they used to look which is a miracle. I took one star off because when you first apply it looks very oily and shiny, but it dries down and soaks in after about an hour. It’s also very expensive for the amount you get, but I can totally justify the price for how well this works for my skin. It’s pretty thick so it does upset my sensitive cheeks when I first apply from the rubbing, but they calm right back down again after 30 minutes or so. I will never buy any other moisturizer, I’m planning on stocking up just in case god forbid they discontinue it. If you’re sensitive and dry, do yourself a favor and BUY THIS!

Good moisturizer but has some small but big issues

I like this moisturizer a lot; it is one of the only moisturizers that doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. However, this is the last step of my skincare routine so it tends to pill which wasn't much of an issue at first but after a while, it got really annoying and way too excessive. Also wearing makeup with this moisturizer really sucks and I struggled to do my makeup with this moisturizer for a long time because I really liked this moisturizer other than that and I finally found a good base routine for this moisturizer but I will be switching my moisturizer because of this problem. Another issue I had is that it is very expensive for the little amount you get. Great For Rosacea or Reactive Skin - velvety finish

I have rosacea so I have truly sensitive skin, and this is my absolute must-have “holy grail” moisturizer, because of its simple formulation and velvety finish. It’s not greasy, and has not caused me to breakout (and a lot of other thicker creams have). When my skin is feeling reactive and dehydrated, it’s the only thing that doesn’t sting when I apply it. Note: there is nothing fancy here. If you’re looking for a moisturizer to do double duty by including other specialized ingredients (niacinimide, lots of peptides/ceramides/antioxidants) you won’t get that here. It’s all about the old school workhorse ingredients like glycerin and shea butter. But for me, it’s the essential skincare step to soothe my skin and protect and/or repair my skin barrier. I’ve been using your products for years! It’s really been the only consistent stuff on the market that has helped my skin so much, even with ingredients like shea butter (which can sometimes be known to clog pores of people with sensitive and acne prone skin which I happen to be both)and I literally have people always asking what my skin care routine is! I get ask so much a made a note in my phone and just air drop to anyone who ask. I restocked my moisturizer this week and didn’t really pay attention to the box. But as soon as a pumped into my hand and slathered it over my face i immediately noticed a very chemical like smell and I’m like what the heck! I grab the box to make sure I got the right thing and noticed the name change to toleriane dermallergo and I’m ... MoreI’ve been using your products for years! New formula??

I have VERY sensitive skin and have used Toleriane Ultra for a long time. This along with the Hydrating Gentle Cleanser have been GO TO products for me. Recently purchased 2 new bottles of the moisturizer. Opened one and put some on my face. Immediately felt burning and noticed an unpleasant/off-putting smell to it. This has never happened before. Thought maybe it was just that bottle but opened the other one and it irritated my skin and also had the same smell to it. Then noticed that the box had been changed to Toleriane Dermallergo. And just read another review from someone commenting that the formula might have been changed. Very disappointed if that is the case. There is nothing out there that compares to the Toleriane Ultra! Reformulated product breaks me out

I'm very disappointed that this moisturizer has been reformulated. This was a holy grail for me as it was the only moisturizer that calmed and moisturized my skin. The last time i purchased this moisturizer I had picked up two of the new boxes and one old box. At the time I didn't think there was a reformulation only a name change until I had used the product. I go through one bottle a month and didn't notice the reformulation until last month when my acne started to come back. I didn't change any products in my rotation and realized that it is the moisturizer breaking me out and irritating my skin. It became obvious because the month when I used the old formula my skin was glowing, smooth, and even. I TRY Hyalu B5 Hyaluronic Acid Serum & Toleriane Dermallergo Soothing CreamTried this when I had a bad area on my face and neck (very dry, red skin). I have very dry skin on my face and neck areas.Almost as soon as I applied the cream my skin felt soothed and much less sore. Within a day it had calmed down and the redness had almost gone. Amazing. I use this at night or when I am feeling like I need added moisture. It is best under a night moisturiser and I find that you wake up with fewer dry spots.I found this to be a light creamy texture that left the skin feeling soft and smooth. Within a few days of using daily I was able to reduce application to every 3rd or 4th day.
