This moisturizer doesn’t irritate my ultra sensitive dry skin. It’s a little thick and doesn’t feel like a lot is getting absorbed vs sitting on top of my skin. It’s a spendy item and I wish it was a tad cheaper and lighter in texture. Biggest con: the packaging! At first, I thought: Keeping air out and making it visible, so you know what’s left seemed like a no-brainer. However, when you get towards the end and there’s visibly still plenty of product left, but the pump is no longer able to extract anymore product because the inner case is too thick. It’s a poor container design. The inner case needs to be thinner like a bag and not thick like it is. I’m forced to pop off the pump and use my makeup spatula to scoop the rest of the product out. I have extremely dry and sensitive skin and this stuff has worked wonders for me. It’s very hydrating without being greasy or heavy feeling. My skin is always dewy and glowing which I love! It has a slight medicinal smell but nothing that is too heavy. I have been using this for about a year and I truly can say that it has changed the overall texture of my skin and I would 100% recommend!Also side note, the packaging has a bag inside the tube which at first made me think that it’s not as much product. However it’s truly an ingenious concept! You literally get every drop of product instead of having left over that you have to scrape out of the bottom. I truly can’t say enough positive things about this product!

I use to buy this moisturizer RELIGIOUSLY. I have the most sensitive skin, and it was the only thing that could soothe it and not break me out.Well not anymore. The manufacturer has confirmed the formula is the same!! I started using this a few years back when my rosacea flared and had a terrible bout of peri-oral dermatitis. This is the only product I can use that calms & keeps my skin moisturized. It heals the skin barier without a heavy or greasy feel. It sinks in immediately. It does not burn my eyes or run down my face if sweating. It just keeps my skin nice - less red, intact barrier, no breakouts, no burning, no flaking.If you're looking for a heavy or occlusive formula, this is NOT it.

After making the last desperate pumps of the 40ml bottle I can say the La Roche-Posay Toleriane Ultra Overnight Moisturiser packaging is smart and convenient. The twist-lock pump has been a god send for travel and feels both simple and well designed.The cream itself is light and non-greasy. It absorbs well into my skin and feels gentle with the added bonus of being fragrance free.Though it gives results, the price keeps this on the lookout list for sales only.Overall its an effective hydration product, that is perfect for overnight use and a solid addition to any sensitive skin routine.
