This is my 3rd pair of Mythos in 2 decades and they remain one of the best all around shoes out there. I still have an original pair of purple Mythos that have been resolved countless times and are still a great end of the day shoe. There are shoes out there that are better at specific types of climbing but none that compare in terms of versatility (unless you want to go high top in TC Pros). Buy them and you'll be happy. Buy them from Moose jaw and you'll enjoy their excellent customer service.

I am a size 10 street shoe and I have a wide forefoot, narrow heels and high arches, so it's super hard to find a perfect fit shoe. Most La Sportiva women's shoes are way too narrow in the toes. Knowing that, I ordered a few sizes of both the women's and the men's version of this shoe. I wanted something with a snug but not tight fit for long multipitch days and cracks (I already have the super great death tight shoes that I can only wear for a few laps before I have to cry - Fiveten Anasazi Pro's, they're awesome). The 41 (translates to a women's 9.5) is perfect; my toe and heel touch the front and back of the shoe, but nothing is crammed in too tight. What I love and what makes the so comfy is that you can completely dial in how they fit on every part of your foot. I loosened them up a bunch at the toe so there's plenty of room up there, and tightened them up over my arch and at the heel. They're basically painted onto my feet. The leather is buttery and delightful and so comfy, right out of the box. I've only worn them a few times to climb so far and I don't feel like the comfort comes at a huge sacrifice of performance at all. It's not like I'm not gonna use them to try and send V8 or anything, so I don't find myself wanting for more aggression out of them. For long moderate routes and all-day comfiness, I'm sold.

Usually i wear eu size 42..first i ordered 40,5 and they were perfect fit bus after lot of reading I realized ghat they will stretch quite a lot as they are all from leather so i ordered again size 39 ..in beginning they were bit tight but already after few climbing routes they were just fine.So i do recommend go at least 2,or even 3 size down.I also got mens shoes cos i have wide feet and they feet me great.

I just bought my second pair of these. They've allowed me to comfortably climb all-day trad routes without ever having to take my shoes off. I think they're great in cracks and solid for smearing. I found them to hold up well after resole (R&R in Boulder) as well. I wear a 7.5 women's street and a 37 in these shoes. They do stretch quite a bit when you first break them in. For comparison, I also regularly use the women's lace-up Muiras for shorter/sportier climbs and Evolv Elektras in the gym. I climb outdoors 2-3 weekends/month but am only climbing 5.9 and lower in the Mythos.
I have owned my pair of Mythis a couple weeks and am a very casual climber. I climb for fitness and because of the company I hold, I'm mainly a weight lifter/runner. These shoes beat the rentals anyday yet don't hurt me to wear it takes the fun out of climbing. I can wear them for an hour or so no problem. I'm a beginner and a casual climber so I imagine if I took it more seriously and wanted to learn to climb cracks and use tiny feet holds, there are better shoes out there. But for me, they exceed expectations and I'm glad I upgraded from the rentals! I am a 10 in all tennis shoes (adidas Nike etc) and got s 9.5 in these and its fine. They stretched about a half size perfectly
I have wanted to buy these shoes for a long time, I tried on a pair of 42 and they made me fantastic but they were worn a lot. So I decided to buy an EU 42.5 with a leg length of 27.5 and they fit like a glove, if they open due to the skin they will be bigger for me but with the Mythos fastening system I will be able to tighten them again and they will fit me just as well. Do not be afraid to take them half smaller than what La Sportiva gives, they will fit you tightly but they will open. I got them to climb multi pitch in Meteora but until then I climb the island
Very comfy shoes. But do recommend the downsize - even smaller than your usual la sportiva shoes. I have another 37.5 La sportiva Solution - which I feel perfectly secured, I think with Mythos I should go for 37 or even 36.5 to feel more snuggled. But it really depends if you want a comfy shoes and pick the same size as your other la sportiva.
I actually wasn't able to keep these because of the sizing. I have the finale's as my typical shoe, which is a 40-1/2. I read the reviews on this shoe and everyone said to size down. So, I ordered a 39-1/2 and it was still way too big, especially if it stretches out as reviews say. But I will say, they're beautifully made and extremely comfortable, even though I ended up returning them. Can't comment on the performance though, but I've only heard good things, other than the stretching.
Excellent shoes don't have to hurt! The most comfortable things I have ever put on my feet, which make climbing fun. I come up 3 euro sizes smaller than my La Sportiva mountaineering boot size (40.5. Rather than 43.5) Mythos stretch a lot in the first 3 or 4 hours of wearing.
So happy that I snagged these. I have narrow feet and super high arches so I'm tough to fit- but most of the time I don't even feel the need to take these off when belaying. These felt amazing right out of the box, took virtually no breaking in and are perfect for anybody looking for versatility vs. a specialist shoe. I prefer this lacing system style over the alternatives since you can loosen them all the way down to the toes when needed. Bonus points for being a badass looking shoe- I get compliments on them every single time I wear them. LOVE!
