My four-year-old daughter has been rockclimbing for about six months now, and continues her interest in climbing. We were using the shoes at the gym, but I wanted her to be able to climb even better. That’s why I bought these, and they’re awesome! She look like a spider climbing, sticking to the wall and climbing higher than her norm!

My daughter was really excited about these. The big gecko foot pull makes adjustment and closure simple for small hands. I felt sizing was accurate. Just like adult sizing for climbing shoes, you really need to measure your foot. I bought a 28-29 (10-11us)while my daughter had been wearing size 10 runners for a few weeks. We got two seasons out of these. I suggest ordering a size up and wearing a thin sock to start. The way the heel adjusts, it helps pull the foot forward and reduce volume so between that and a sock, you can comfortably go a bit bigger to start.

We got these for our 5.5yo. They run a little smaller than his street shoes (ended up going one size higher than the bigger size the Size Chart suggested. These seem comfortable, and they do grip like climbing shoes. The grip, combined with having ?real climbing shoes? (it?s all about the gear!) helped Kiddo overcome his limits and climb a couple of moves higher than he had previously. He also seems to enjoy climbing more. The green/yellow looks great; nice bright contrast. He didn?t like how the dark red monochrome looked.

bought these for my toddler so he could enjoy the backyard climbing wall a bit more. They are functional and sturdy. he climbs a few times a week and I've owned them for a month now and they have very little wear. It is unlikely you will be disappointed with these shoes.
My son is five years old and already going through his third pair. They are pretty durable and good for edge and smearing. Fit is not perfect, but better than Scarpa and BD.
My son wore these shoes for 16 months and in that time I had to replace the laces about a half dozen times. In one shoe the eyelet ripped itself out of the fabric after a year. For climbing, they perform well for the skill level (he used these from ages 3-4), and he can put them on and take them off himself and finds them comfortable.I believe most of the problem with the laces is due to technique - if the climber rubs the inner arch against the wall, the lace will wear through. I did notice that a sharp eyelet edge may cut the lace as well.
Shoe lasted less than 1 hour before laces broke. Feedback from the gym is that this is a known issue with their shoes. We replaced the laces with paracord to confirm. This lasted <4 one hour sessions before being cut through. The picture below shoes what the grommets do after 1 hour.
My daughter loves these shoes. The frog toes are fun and easy for a kid to put on themselves. I was worried the elastic might stretch out over time, but it has been holding up nicely and does a good job snugging up the shoe even when you purchase them a little on the large size, as one does.Kids learn naturally and good shoes had an immediate impact on my daughter's climbing. She had the confidence to use tiny holds and started playing around with heel hooks the first time she tried them out. Great product.
Sizing was very far off. The shoes were tiny and did not come close to fitting. These were supposed to be size 2 equivalent. I purposely ordered them large and they were still way too small. Had to return them.
I am honestly surprised at some of the not so positive reviews for these shoes. Our Stickits have been absolutely fantastic. We have 2 kids (now 6 and 8) and bought each a pair almost 2 years ago. The shoes are still in excellent, excellent condition. We used these shoes at least 2x/week in the gym Sept-May(x2) and multiple times climbing outside in the summers (x2). The kids even wear them running around the crags and they are still in amazing condition. Our 8 year old regularly climbs 5.9+ in the gym and has never found the shoes lacking. We have never had the laces blow out. We have always been able to get them to tighten nicely around the heel and have never had gaping anywhere and our daughter does have quite narrow feet. It did take a few minutes the first few times climbing to get the lace adjusted, but we have not had to do anything since. All of the rental shoes that they tried before we bought them these caused blisters but we have never had that happen with these. Our 6 year old has just outgrown his first pair and we will be buying him one size up. Our daughter's still fit her and I am positive they will still be in great shape to hand down to her brother when he outgrows his next pair. I am sad that our daughter is already in the largest size of these shoes. I'm sure it will be hard to find ones as comfortable and as effective as these once she finally does outgrow them.
