Pros: Perfect for video editing on my 250gb 2019 Macbook Pro, which was struggling with scratch disk space. I now edit video directly on this drive and it's very quick and works fine.

I bought it and it worked fine. However after one year suddenly the back up manager disappeared. I reinstalled it but it ca not connect to my computer. So only a manual backup is possible. The worst thing however is the so called "service " from the company LaCie. I wrote then 4 !! request fro help and 0 ! answer. DO NOT BUY LACIE !!!
Pros: Too early to rate reliability!!! Connected to multiple latops with no fuss.Cons: Good if there was an SSD version for a bit more.
Hi I got very excited when I saw this for sale and on sale. However when I read the small print on the box I realised I couldn’t use it as my computer did not have the right software. Which is a great shame as LaCie comes highly recommended and it was at a good price. What a shame I was looking forward to archiving my photographs.So unfortunately I had to return it. Just waiting for the return to go through. Thank you
Pros: Got this to store pc games on and play them directly from it. Works a treat the USB C is really fast and good at loading games quickly

Have used these drives over several years & they perform well. They are unobtrusive in design, yet smart in appearance. They are fast & overall well worth the money.
