Lacoste L'Homme - 100ml Eau De Toilette Spray

This is so good. I don't know how Lacoste end up making some of the best smelling fragrances out there, well beyond the price point even. The big weakness of most of them is the projection and it not lasting very long at all. However, the scent itself is one of the best citrus scents I've smelled, fresh without entering "cleaning spray" territory. Reminds me of a combination of Lacoste Rouge and Chanel Allure Homme Sport!

I paid a little over £20 for 100ml bottle of the Lacoste Homme EDT. Which is a bargain.there is quite a lot of snobbery in the fragrance world about Lacoste. It's a sportswear brand blah blah blah.However, they knock out some really good fragrances for the money and this is one of them.It's fresh and masculine. Great for the spring or summer. But there is depth to it which would allow you to wear it throughout the year.You could get away with wearing this on a winter night out.It's a great cheap buy. The smells more expensive than the price tag.Spend a little bit more money on something like this, a real fregrance, rather than spending money on a celebrity fragrance.

It has a little twist of notes, which makes it a bit more unique to the most recent releases, really like the quince mix with almond and other citruses. Once this dries down the citrus blends nicely with the amber and vanilla making this a pleasant,kind of relaxing ambers citrus smell. It's a crisp, tart scent with a soft woody base that, more often than not, brings a smile to my face. This is refreshing in a sense, delivering something with a certain clarity and not the mess that most recent releases tend to be. Ok, so it’s generic and reminding me of a brighter version of Dolce Gabbana The One, with a little touch of YSL L´homme. I agree that it falls into the same general category as Sauvage, Invictus, Coach, Aqua Atlantic etc - but this does it way - way better. Longevity it’s not the best but lasts for 5-6h and project fairly good for first 2h then it’s a very pleasant skin scent. I think this is a nice fresh and bright cologne. It’s very powerful and potent. At first spray, I get a fresh orange and black pepper note. It takes quite awhile to become a little warmer. This leads to call this a pretty linear fragrance. But sometimes linear is great!

In this fragrance you are overwhelmed with a sweet yet fresh rhubarb note that is hyper versatile and super natural. You pair that with blue facets it is a really nice and unique fragrance that will leave you smelling like no one else. Only drawback is it doesn’t last that long

A Rhubarb and Quince gem

Fresh citrus scent thats new to my nose. I love that its great for summer and spring but will do well even in fall. This scent can be used anytime and anywhere as its versatile enough but i would not call it a blue scent despite the bottle. Its has great price for value. Worth buying even blindbuy as its quite unique even if thats hard to say for a citrus freshie, but it is. A good one from lacoste.

Better then the original!

So I decided to blind buy this one as I heard good things about it plus it was pretty cheap in price. I have to say that this one is 10 times better than the original especially in the performance! You still get that original DNA but with a lot more notes are added in. Right in the opening I get that blast of orange and rhubarb! I find this one a bit more woody than the original in the dry down. As I stated the performance is a lot more better than the original. Fresh Sweet ADDICTING Citrus

So this is an alternative to YSL LHomme EDT, but it has its own flare as a fragrance. It is super super Sweet, but because it doubles down on the Orange/Mandarin scent, it is highly refreshing. Pair this characteristic with a stimulating Ginger and a softening Rhubarb note, this fragrance is WORTHY. Again & Again youll be reaching for this to refresh. One side note to mention, initially this may come off as a unisex scent. After several days of use, the dry down phase will indicate why this called LHOMME (Man in French Language)

Meh in a bottle

I like lacoste in certain situations. Any lacoste fragrance is perfect for any sporting activity. Other than that it falls apart real fast. This one in particula, I had to spay at least 15 times just to get a scent of it. Its super underwhelming. But when you do catch a whiff of it, it smells real good. I could recommend this to someone who wants a fragrance that is real subtle, nothing loud or aggressive. For myself however, I was disappointed by this fragrance as it's quite popular in the fragrance community and I dont understand why. Overall I'd give it a 3/10. Super disappointing. Especially for what I want to use it for. But if you wear it to a sporting event then it's a 8/10. Lasts a perfect amount of time for your activity and is suited for it. Unique and pleasant scent but not Strong Projection

I would give this 3.5 out of 5. I personally love the smell. The rhubarb comes through but done very sweetly. Fairly unique, very pleasant and inoffensive. Simple smelling fragrance but easy to love. If it can be smelled you'll definitely have people praising you, but its projection and longevity are both not great which is a real shame. You'll have to overspray a bit to project. Even so longevity isn't great. If you wanna just be smelling nice but not noticed consciously in the office you could use this, people don't smell you until you're within an elbows to arms length. Decent at its price point
