Lancome Hydra Zen Night Cream 50 ml

It comes in a glass jar which feels heavy in a good way. Does it moisturize? Yes. Is it revolutionary? No. This is a nice cream to have but I wouldn't call it a necessity. I get the same hydration from my Cetaphil face cream. There's a rose scent that smells very perfume-y, so if that's something that bothers you I don't think you'll like this product. I also don't get the "anti-stress" claim. This cream doesn't affect my stress levels whatsoever lol. Not bad but not great.

I purchased this along with other products from the same line, however I did not use them together so I cannot attest to how they all work as one “system†. I used those all a while back and didn’t notice anything extraordinary (that I can remember) and wasn’t expecting much from this gel cream, either. I’ve been using it consistently nightly and occasionally during the day for maybe a week or so, and can definitely notice a change. My skin is super soft and smooth, all day long even on days where I don’t do a morning skincare routine (most days lol). I love how this feels on my skin upon application. It soaks into my skin and doesn’t leave it feeling tacky. My skin feels moisturized and plump, and soooo soft!

I got that sampler in a Birchbox (France). Honestly I used to buy a lot of Lancôme products when I was in my early 20's (I didn't know they were maybe inadapted for me though...) So the red flags are the utilisation of fragrances in their products compositions + alcohol. My skin doesn't like that at all (sensitive/dry/with rosacea + fragrance +alcohol= 🔥). Plus their products are too much expensive. I'm sure it is possible to find a lot of good-adapted-skin-products for cheaper. Nevertheless I appreciate their products's textures, the colors (sometimes pink 🌸) and also the packaging. Always girly I'll admit. But trust me, i am French and I can tell you that you will pay a lot for the famous brand logo with the rose... 🌹

I am a big fan of Lancome products. I recently purchased this anti stress moisturising gel cream as I liked the idea of it been a gel aswell as cream. It glides onto my face and neck when applied due to the gel/cream consistency but isn't greasy at all as it is oil free. You don't need to use a lot if product either so will last a while. The smell is absolutely beautiful and have to say I'm a bit addicted to the scent of this. It keeps my skin lovely and hydrated all day and my makeup applies so well too after using it. It's great for dehydrated skin and even sensitive skin. Would totally recommend this product.

The gel-cream penetrates very quickly on the skin and leaves as a light powdery effect with a skin very soft and very slightly scented. It gives an impression of immediate freshness and leaves no trace of its passage.Regarding the hydration, I found the dose perfectly adapted to the needs of my mixed skin, at this time of the year. I think the hydration is very light and will not be suitable for dry skin. After, we are all different and it is always possible to combine the benefits of this type of product with a more nourishing night cream depending on the needs or seasons (for combination to oily skin).In addition, I specify that this cream has totally agreed to my skin acne prone (without treatment) and capricious.

Love at first smell, touch, feel....

I discovered this product as one of my Rouge Rewards samples. It was love at first sight, smell, feel... A little goes a long way and a dime sized amount is more than adequate to cover face and partial neck. It glides on like satin and keeps my face moisturized all day. I have combo skin and am accustomed to having moisturizers leave dry patches on my cheeks. This formula seems to have intelligence on where and how to distribute its silky moisture; Will continue to use until I find something else superior... doubtful!

SILKY SOFT SKIN!!

I have not found anything that works likes this product. I have dry, but yet oily ski, and I have not yet found anything that works this well for me. I absolutely LOVE it! It absorbs quickly, leaves my skin silky soft with no residue, and I can see immediate results. Takes the redness away. My skin looks as hydrated as this product leaves it and it stays all day and night! This is the best line I've found in a while for my skin.

This is my favorite day cream

This moisturizer reminds me of a cream I used as a very you g woman. No names, but that old fashion cold cream was very popular when I was in high school. I also used greasless medicated skin cream. If you're old enough, you'll remember the ad slogans and commercials. I've outgrown the cold creams and medicated skin creams and shaving lotions. Today, I use this beautiful pink cream Hydra Zen Cream. Hydra Zen has a light, pleasant scent. It's cool on my skin when I apply. It moisturizer without feeling oily or slick.

Where has this been all my life

I’ve had a struggle with dryness and sensitivity forever, various heavy moisturizers always resulted in clogged pores. This moisturizer is like a balm. A small amount pressed onto the skin as the final step in your regimen it feels so soothing and locks in your serums. It gives you a healthy glow also. Less is more. I used to put globs of this on my face until I started noticing some congestion. My skin is able to tolerate exfoliating products now.
