I love the brand laneige and so far their balms, moisturizers have not disappointed but this cleansing foam did! First off, the bottle is inconvenient to use and makes it hard to get the product out and I have to squeeze excessively. This is not the first cleansing product I’ve used in a bottle but this bottle must’ve been flawed. The cleansing is not a foam, so the name might be misleading. I did not notice any improvement on my oiliness even after I specifically bought it because reviews said it helped their oiliness. It has no scent, I prefer some scent in my products. I would not recommend!

Clean & soft skin

I was kindly gifted this product to try from Laneige Europe. A seriously impressive cleanser, It is simple & understated from packaging to product. However it performs to a luxury standard. A decent sized tube, with an simple yet elegant feel, squeezes to reveal a silky cream like cleanser that has a fresh/floral yet very delicate scent. The tinniest amount creates a deliciously creamy foam when adding a little water, which glides across the skin effortlessly. It leaves the skin thoroughly cleansed & refreshed without feeling stripped. My skin feels amazing! Soft, smooth & more youthful.

Two versions; the expensive one you find here and pricey department stores, and the less expensive version found here and in Asian markets; the writing on the tube is in all Japanese. This has the slightest scent; pleasant, fresh, but beyond that, hard for me to describe. The intensity of scent seems to be about a 2 - 3 on a 10 scale. Some people don't care about lather; it's high on my list. This creates that rich frothy lather and does all the things I mentioned that I want it to. It is only the second of maybe 20 I've reviewed that I would actually buy, that could actually de-throne the Japanese brand. It's a nice product that will actually be used (instead of sitting a box waiting for me to give away). I let my face dry after a shower, using this, and did not put on any serum, eye cream, moisturizer etc, just to see what the texture of my skin would be. It was not dry or tight, neither was it "dewey". I'd say it was basically neutral feeling; ready for the next layer(s) of treatment. I'll enjoy this product; glad I ordered it. I hope this review has enabled you to make an informed purchase decision. I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

Hydrating

I received this complimentary from Laneige Europe in exchange for my honest review. I have been a fan of Langeige for quite a long time as their products are all about hydrating the skin. I have been using this cleanser as part of my AM + second PM cleanse and although it is classed as a cleansing foam which sometimes can be drying, this has a creamier texture. It lathers well and removes any leftover makeup, oil + impurities without stripping or drying out my skin. The papain enzyme ingredient helps gently exfoliate which leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth. I then follow up with the rest of my routine and end with the water bank blue moisturiser. Love at first use

LANEIGE Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cleansing Foam is not your average cleansing foam. I wouldn’t even consider it as a foam. It’s more a milky texture that lathers slightly and that’s a big positive! It’s non stripping and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and super clean. The scent of it reminds me of my childhood and the French Pharmacie products my mum used to use for me. I can’t describe it but it’s just so fresh, light and beautiful. The tiniest amount is needed so this will last me a while! This was gifted by the brand but it will be an absolute repurchase!

Laneige's lip balms and masks, along with the water sleeping mask, are among my beauty must-haves, so was very excited to try this new cleanser from the very popular Water Bank line. This lightly foaming Hyaluronic Acid cleanser leaves skin soft and clean, without being at all dry and tight. Thick and Creamy Face Wash That Lathers Up Nicely - Leaves Skin Feeling Clean and Looking Healthy

The Laneige Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cleansing Foam is an excellent facial cleanser that lathers up into a thick dense foam and gets skin clean without drying it out. The soap is somewhat thick but airy, and I like how it gets my skin clean without irritating my skin. Although the lather is very dense, it rinses out easily, and neither dries out skin or leaves it feeling greasy. The wash has a pleasant flowery scent that is noticeable when washing, but doesn't linger once your skin is dry. In comparison to other soaps, the scent isn't all that strong though. I can't say how well it removes makeup by itself as I usually remove my makeup using a two-step face washing process. I have had a holy grail cleanser for at least a decade. While I've found others that I like, nothing works like it does for me and my skin. I have combination, leaning towards dry skin that is not very sensitive at all. I don't wear makeup daily like I used to but when i do wear makeup, it's there to stay. I loved how this stuff performed. My skin didn't feel stripped but it was clean. It did a good job removing makeup as well. So why were some stars knocked off? First, the fragrance. Unfortunately for me, this makes it a tough cleanser to use if I have to use additional products just for eyes. It did, however, work well with my Foreo Luna which isn't always the case. Skincare can be so personal so this may be a great product for someone else.
