The consistency is on par with their other Water Bank products – very lightweight and almost gel-like, so it absorbs very quickly, which is much appreciated during the hot and sticky summer months. It’s always difficult to say whether skincare really works – my eyes did seem less puffy in the mornings, but I think I’d need a rougher night in order to truly gauge its efficacy. Given that I always use an eye cream in the evening anyway I’d have no issue sticking with this one in the long-run. I’ve come to trust Laneige and the fact that this contains hyaluronic acid is definitely a plus – even if I can’t see immediate, overnight results, it’s still important to keep that area moisturized and taken care of, even as just preventative care. Bonus points for the very cute and aesthetically pleasing packaging. It’s silly, but this looks Instagram-worthy sitting on the vanity. Also, as with all of Laneige’s products, a small spatula is included for hygienic purposes (big fan of this approach).

Topped off with Green Tea enzymes, this cream will go to work to enhance your smoothest, softest looking skin. With my chronically dry skin, I was ready to put this product to the test. This cream was much thicker and heavier than I anticipated, and I would say this is probably heavier than its predecessor. Despite its weight, I was impressed by the complete lack of oiliness, stickiness, or greasiness. The claims of fast absorption are spot on. After just a few seconds of blending, the formula vanished into the inner workings of my skin barrier. Things I noticed about this product include improved elasticity and adequate elimination of flakes from my problem areas. The trace this new and improved Water Bank leaves behind is a healthy skin effect, and not the product itself simply sitting as a film on your face. Hours later, my skin still feels soft and supple to the touch, without any tackiness all while maintaining a natural matte effect. I could go on and on, but yes, I would say this really is a step up for the Water Bank!

Great gel moisturiser

This product was gifted to me by Laneige for review purpose and I have to say that it is an absolute game-changer for keeping my skin hydrated! This lightweight gel texture floods skin with cooling, quenching moisture thanks to the key ingredient blue hyaluronic acid. It draws and seals in hydration far better than traditional hyaluronic acid. Unlike some gels that disappear too quickly, this moisturiser provides a soothing moisture barrier that lasts. The gel consistency spreads easily but isn't sticky at all. It absorbs quickly without leaving any greasy residue.

I cannot rave about this cream, and brand enough. I bought it after an influencer recommended it, and I'm so glad I did. It has transformed my skin. It's lightweight, dewey and really moisturising. My skin is usually pretty clear, but I can break out very easily with new products. The whole range, including this cream has not caused a single spot. Only positive things to say about this cream, highly recommend.

I love this eye cream! I bought this after initially trying it in the Laneige “Happy Water-full Holiday” set and loving it. It’s light but soothing and very moisturising. It’s perfect to apply in your skincare routine and it’s also great before concealer as it gives that nice smooth and hydrated base and prevents it from looking dry and cakey. I use this every single day, and i will keep repurchasing this. It doesn’t really have a scent, which i think is what you want for things you are applying on your face! It’s not caused me any spots or reactions either.

My new favourite moisturiser!

I initially tried this in the “Happy water-full holidays” set Laneige did and i loved it so much i had to buy the full size. It has a gorgeous texture, light but incredibly moisturising. It sinks quickly into my skin, and gives a lovely glow! Just overall makes my skin look and feel beautiful :) It doesn’t really have a scent but of course that’s a good thing in my books especially when it’s for the face! It’s also caused me no spots and I have had no reaction to this.

Old vs New Water Bank

Skin type: Combination, Complexion: Clear, Age: 35 As someone who loved the original version of this (Water Bank Moisture Cream), I'm reviewing it to compare while I still have a little left of the original and can say I'm quite happy with it. In appearance the new Water Bank cream looks the same. The smell is a bit softer but similar, and the original didn't have a strong scent to begin with so if you found the original Water Bank cream's scent a bit strong, this should possibly be all right for you. The consistency is a touch thinner, making it come across as a little less rich or, if you worry about your face feeling clogged or caked, not as thick. Sensitive eyes beware!

First, I love the texture and hydration of this product. I actually bought a second one after my first use because I loved it so much.Unfortunately, I found after my second use that there's something in this product's formulation that makes it hard for it to stay in place. I apply mine at night and by morning, am waking up with at least one stinging eye. After washing, I still have a residual sting for at least another 2-3 hours during the day. I've played around with placement, putting the product much further away from my eye than I would with other eye creams, but it still finds a way to creep in.Admittedly, I do have sensitive eyes, but this is the only eye cream I've ever used that has caused stinging. lovely eye gel

Haven't been using this product for too long so can't comment on long-term results but love it so far. The consistency means a little goes a long way and it feels soft and luxurious. It has a faint, pleasant smell and hydrates my under-eyes noticeably until I wash my face again. Have noticed a small amount of reduction in my dark eye circles which is enough for me to repurchase. Nice part of a nighttime routine with the lip mask!
