Lanolips 101 Ointment Multipurpose Superbalm 15g

I haven't had the pleasure of hearing about this product until it was sent to me to try but I am so thankful I was introduced to this wonderful product. The Lanolips "The Original" 101 Ointment Multipurpose Superbalm is all that it is hyped up to be. It's 100% natural, derived from the wool of sheep & vegetarian. It's ultra pure grade Australian Lanolin, dermatologist tested & is even safe for pregnant/nursing mothers. It is insanely moisturizing & incredible for all moisturizing needs. I used this as a lip balm, a cuticle cream & a nipple cream after long hiking days. It's not sticky at all & after initial application fades, it reveals soft moisturized skin underneath. To be honest, I was a little hesitant to try a new product for my lips and skin given that I have super sensitive skin that reacts to 9/10 products and nearly anything with fragrance and my lips have only been happy with a handful of balms and ointments. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by how well this worked and without any negative side effects. My skin and lips are hydrated and, when washing your hands you can tell that it really does lock in moisture. And, best of all, there is no fragrance or any bad "natural" smell to it! On the flip side, it is fairly sticky when first applying - you need to make sure to do a good job of rubbing in the product not to leave sticky fingerprints around. The other thing I will mention is that while it moisturizes well, I still felt like something was missing because my skin and lips didn't necessarily feel smooth to the touch. I have been a regular Aquaphor user for the last 5 years, and while it has drastically helped my sensitive and eczema-prone skin, especially in the winter, but I don't love the greasy feeling it can leave on my skin. When I tried using the Lanolips on my hands or lips and then sealed it in with Aquaphor to lock it in and give it a bit of slip, I knew I found a winning combination. I don't know yet if I will be repurchasing this when I run out, but I am glad I gave it a try and will continue using this through winter to see if it is going to become one of my skincare and lip care essentials for those really dry months. One other thing to note is that the tube you get is on the small side, so if you, like me, go through a 7 oz. tube of Aquaphor a year, you may want to supplement it with something else. Overall, if you have sensitive and/or dry skin and want to find a petroleum jelly alternative product, I would *highly* recommend trying this out!

I was hesitant about trying this ointment balm but absolutely fell in love with it! I prefer to use it on my lips over my skin but I do like it on my hands and cuticles too. On my lips it leaves a nice silky texture that is comfortable and not tacky at all. The gloss look it leaves is very natural and looks nice with any looks either done up or down. There is no taste or smell it is great for people who are sensitive to those things! When applied to my finger tips and cuticles it does feel a little bit weird at first but once it is warmed together and rubbed in it feels very hydrating. I have sensory processing disorder so am picky about how products feel but had no issues with Lanolips!
