I haven't had the pleasure of hearing about this product until it was sent to me to try but I am so thankful I was introduced to this wonderful product. The Lanolips "The Original" 101 Ointment Multipurpose Superbalm is all that it is hyped up to be. It's 100% natural, derived from the wool of sheep & vegetarian. It's ultra pure grade Australian Lanolin, dermatologist tested & is even safe for pregnant/nursing mothers. It is insanely moisturizing & incredible for all moisturizing needs. I used this as a lip balm, a cuticle cream & a nipple cream after long hiking days. It's not sticky at all & after initial application fades, it reveals soft moisturized skin underneath. I would recommend to anyone looking for a natural moisturizer that is limitless with its uses. ...Ā MoreI haven't had the pleasure of hearing about this product until it was sent to me to try but I am so thankful I was introduced to this wonderful product. To be honest, I was a little hesitant to try a new product for my lips and skin given that I have super sensitive skin that reacts to 9/10 products and nearly anything with fragrance and my lips have only been happy with a handful of balms and ointments. However, I was very pleasantly surprised by how well this worked and without any negative side effects. My skin and lips are hydrated and, when washing your hands you can tell that it really does lock in moisture. And, best of all, there is no fragrance or any bad "natural" smell to it! On the flip side, it is fairly sticky when first applying - you need to make sure to do a good job of rubbing in the product not to leave sticky fingerprints around. The other thing I will mention is that while it moisturizes well, I still felt like something was missing because my skin and lips didn't necessarily feel smooth to the touch. I have been a regular Aquaphor user for the last 5 years, and while it has drastically helped my sensitive and eczema-prone skin, especially in the winter, but I don't love the greasy feeling it can leave on my skin. When I tried using the Lanolips on my hands or lips and then sealed it in with Aquaphor to lock it in and give it a bit of slip, I knew I found a winning combination. I don't know yet if I will be repurchasing this when I run out, but I am glad I gave it a try and will continue using this through winter to see if it is going to become one of my skincare and lip care essentials for those really dry months. One other thing to note is that the tube you get is on the small side, so if you, like me, go through a 7 oz. tube of Aquaphor a year, you may want to supplement it with something else. Overall, if you have sensitive and/or dry skin and want to find a petroleum jelly alternative product, I would *highly* recommend trying this out!

I was hesitant about trying this ointment balm but absolutely fell in love with it! I prefer to use it on my lips over my skin but I do like it on my hands and cuticles too. On my lips it leaves a nice silky texture that is comfortable and not tacky at all. The gloss look it leaves is very natural and looks nice with any looks either done up or down. There is no taste or smell it is great for people who are sensitive to those things! When applied to my finger tips and cuticles it does feel a little bit weird at first but once it is warmed together and rubbed in it feels very hydrating. I have sensory processing disorder so am picky about how products feel but had no issues with Lanolips! I didn't expect to like this solve but the idea is genius and the story was heart warming. I first applied this multipurpose ointment to the lips as the post card demonstrates. My lips wer very chapped from having allergies and breathing through my mouth all day so I was very eager. The formulation was very nice. It had a similar feeling to Vaseline but a tad smoother and not as greasy. The ointment turned a milky color for a small amount of time before turning back to clear. After a few minutes the product sunk into my lips and brought them to life. I was impressed so I naturally started applying it to more areas like my knees and elbows and even my cheekbones! It's non scented which I love and I'll also use anything that Alicia keys uses. The price point is ...Ā MoreI didn't expect to like this solve but the idea is genius and the story was heart warming. This is my 3rd product that I own from LANOLIPS and I love it like I do the other two (tinted lip balm in perfect nude and multi balm coconut I purchased and this product I received through Bzzz Agent). This product is extremely hydrating and I love using it as an overnight mask on my lips. This also really helps when I have eczema flare ups (especially between my fingers where I usually get it since all of the hand sanitizing at my job). It can be used for extremely dry lips, elbows, cuticles, skin patches and more. I also love to use it on my dry and cracked heel on my feet. It is recommended to warm the ointment between your fingers or apply directly onto the lips and skin and use a generous amount. It is recommended to warm the ointment between your fingers or apply directly onto the lips and skin and use a generous amount. Depending on the area a little goes a long way, but you can absolutely do a lot with no discomfort. It absorbs quickly and nicely and comes out clear but it is an ointment so it is a thick consistency very similar to Aquaphor or Vaseline. It leaves a little bit of an oily sheen as well so I recommend using it at night before bed on those dry areas. The top is a bit finnicky in that when you turn it sometimes it doesn't line up and it can be a bit frustrating to close. It has literally no smell actually no smell though not even that sort of oil smell you get with other products if this consistency I've never used a product that has literally no scent so it's crazy to me this doesn't smell like anything at all. Overall I think if you're looking for a nice hydrating, easy to travel product and you have extremely dry patches lips etc I would definitely recommend this product! If you like hydrating lip balms with tint or a little bit of flavor I'd definitely recommend the other two products I mentioned too! I hope to get to try all of this brands products because they're that good.
I've been selected this time by @bzzagent to review this free sample that was sent by them ⤠it's a multi purpose balm called @lanolips My first thoughts when it arrived was that I was bummed by the package because the container got a little bent unfortunately. But the balm itself was safely intact thankfully. The consistency of the balm really reminds me a lot of vasoline but a little more smooth feeling and a little less thick. I'm not sure how else to describe it other than that. As soon as I put it on my lips though, my lips felt incredibly smooth and luscious and not much of a sticky feeling like you might get from vasoline. You can also put this stuff on your elbows or heels etc if you need to and its meant to keep that area feeling smooth as well and repair ...Ā MoreI've been selected this time by @bzzagent to review this free sample that was sent by them ⤠it's a multi purpose balm called @lanolips My first thoughts when it arrived was that I was bummed by the package because the container got a little bent unfortunately. So far, my lips feel really nice and I feel like I might keep this product around in the future :) I don't really have any complaints on it so far other than me getting used to the somewhat greasy feeling on my lips lol 4.5 ā's
* How does this product compare to other products you've tried? It reminded me a lot of Carmex or Blistex consistency but also a bit like my Victoria's Secret Goodnight Kiss Balm. I would rather use the three I mentioned since they do have enjoyable flavors and scents compared to Lanolips being unscented with seemingly no real flavor. * What are some benefits of owning this product? I enjoy that it's multipurpose but I cringed applying it to my cheeks because I have a feeling my dermatologist would freak out that I'm clogging my pores! * Would you buy this product? If this were scented in a nice manner and had a hands-free applicator, yes. The product requires warming up so I'm not sure it would be possible since a heating tool would also be prone to contamination. ...Ā More* How does this product compare to other products you've tried? No, I have hesitated on anything with lanolin since my research about it during my first pregnancy and small time nursing, so over 5 years now. I think it's the sheep aspect I just can't get over. I would rather recommend the VS balm since it has an applicator tube or Blistex/Carmex to my friends who live up north. I did really like how the Lanolips treated my lips and cuticles but I just felt so greasy all over and had to rinse after trying. #gotitfree
Lanolip's "the original 101 ointment multipurpose superbalm" was an interesting product to review. My initial thoughts: a) it looks very similar in presentation to Glossier's balm dotcom, but it is no where near as soft and gel-like. b) the product has a hard time coming out of the small opening and seemed kind of hardened and the tube itself seems to have a lot of air in it⦠i had to super squeeze to get the hardened portion blocking the opening out, and it was warm in CA where i am. This Product is the worst as a lip moisturizer. I have extremely, chronically dry and cracking lips, and i find this did nothing to remedy it. The product merely sat on top of my lips, attracting every stray hair, and then 2 hours later my lips were as cracked and dry as ever. Weird. However, I did have a terrible patch of dry skin and a pimple on the right side of my mouth, and after consistently applying to that area, it all healed and softened over a week! So my bottom line is this is A+ as a skin healing treatment/moisturizer, and an F as a lip balm.
I was really excited to hear about this lanolin balm. Iāve used protective lanolin based cream to save my hands while throwing potteryāa lanolin/oil pure balm for lips and small areas sounded right up my alley.I am more than satisfied with the performance of this product. Iāve used it on my lips, chapped hand and nose skin, and cuticles so far. I live in a cold climate and this seems like a good balm for protecting from windburn as well. On my lips, I get a lovely plumped look, and a comfortable feel. Thick balm that stays where you put it. The only thing Iād be aware of is that the original balm has no colourant in it and when it is very cold it opacifies to a milky colour. I'll start off with what I enjoyed about this product, firstly, the packaging is so cute and practical! I liked that it was mess free, the tube is very sturdy and the perfect amount of product comes out when I squeeze it. I, personally, didn't detect any scent which I was worried about because I have heard people say lanolin smells bad but I really didn't get that with this product at all. I also liked that it was very nourishing and while a very thick consistency it didn't feel greasy at all. Now with that all being said I don't think this alone was moisturizing enough to fix my chapped lips, what I normally do (and still had to do) was apply a moisturizer, let that sink in, then add this product on top to seal it all in. And while that did work, I don't think it ...Ā MoreI'll start off with what I enjoyed about this product, firstly, the packaging is so cute and practical! And while that did work, I don't think it was any better than regular petroleum jelly. In my opinion both products are interchangeable, and while the packaging of this is much more practical it doesn't justify the huge cost that comes with it. So I think for now, I'll be sticking to my usual products but I am glad to have this in my routine (just not for the price!). *I received this from Bzzagent in exchange for a review, but all opinions are my own*
