Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Treatment

I love this lip balm! I’ve been using this lip balm for over 6 months and I haven’t had chapped lips since. Plus, the lemonade scent is soo nice. It’s not overpowering and I can’t really taste it once I use it. The packaging is pretty average, I don’t usually prefer products in tubes but I make an exception for this. I use my finger to apply it, it doesn’t leave a residue on my fingers. Overall definitely recommend. The best lip balm I’ve ever used!

I will be honest, my lips are SUPER dry. I exfoliate them with a sugar scrub often but they are always dry no matter what, in turn I often end up picking at my lips when anxious. However, just one application of Lanolips makes them smoother than exfoliating has ever done. I was skeptical because I have tried a lot of balms for my lips and thought this was just a lipgloss claiming to be a “lip treatment” but it does what it says. The product does come out thick and can be sticky but that’s the appeal for me, it hydrates my lips and a LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY. It makes my lips so so soft and the smell of the lip treatment is amazing, too.

I’m a sucker for a great lip moisturizer so was very excited to try Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Treatment. I use Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask daily and believed it to be the holy grail of lip treatments. After the very first use of the Lemonaid Lip Treatment, I knew it performed way better than the Laneige. Unlike the Laneige, it actually absorbs into your lips and leaves them feeling supple and moisturized. Along with the effectiveness, upon first application I realized it smells (and tastes) like real fresh lemon juice, and not any artificial scents that are usually added to beauty products. I am a huge fan of Lanolips products now and am so happy I was given the opportunity to try it.

Extremely effective for dry, chapped lips

I’m a long-time fan of Lanolips. I had heard so much about lanolin for dry, chapped lips or even calluses or rough elbows. I tried most moisturizing products under the sun so I did not expect much beyond what those products can do for my dry spots. I was delightfully surprised! Lanolips deeply moisturized my lips after the very first use. I can’t live without it anymore and have to have a tube close by at all times. I truly can’t recommend it enough. Whenever I see a friend with rough calluses on his/her hands from working or working out, I apply a bit of Lanolips treatment and they’re usually wowed at what it can do to soften those spots. Favourite lip treatment by far

I do really like the Laniege sleeping mask but I don't like lip products in pots, and it's not really worth the money especially compared to this. I love the lemon scent, my lips always look softer/smoother after using. Especially a thicker layer before bed. When I do a full face of make up; at the beginning primer stage, I will use a small amount of this on my lips so when I get round to applying my lip products, I get a much better result. Really good value, lasts a good while as you don't need a lot.

Before purchasing this, I think buyers need to have an understanding of what lanolin (the main ingredient in this product) is. Lanolin is also known as "wool grease" and is a product that is naturally secreted by wool-bearing animals such as sheep, which is what allows the wool to be water resistant. The lanolin is removed from fleeces after they are sheared from the animal and then processed separately from the wool. The animals are not harmed in this process. I was attracted to this product because of the lanolin and the lemon scent.My initial impression was that this product is *very* thick if cold or at room temperature and does take some force to squeeze out of the tube. It will get melty if stored in your pocket, or in a hot car, so be aware of that! To apply this I prefer to squeeze the tube and put a little on my finger and then spread it on my lips as opposed to directly applying the product. A little bit really will go a long way! There is a pleasant lemon-y scent that is strong but not overpowering. It has a slight lemon flavor as well. This does have some shimmer to it as advertised, which does leave you with that sort of frosted lip look that is reminiscent of the lip glosses I used as a pre-teen. I'm not sure I would wear this out in public, but I love to apply it at bed time and once or twice a day around the house.I have gotten the results I was looking for and I find this product pleasant to use. While this costs more than I would normally pay for a lip product, I do think I would purchase this again.

My sister keeps stealing this from me

I hope they never stop making this product. I have large lips and when they crack, they CRACK. I have never found anything that comes close, especially at this price point. I'm not that fussed on other Lanolips products because I'm not a huge fan of that waxy feel, but this lemony saviour will always be the one I always come back to. Instantly hydrating, exfoliating without being messy and painful. This is a great mask over night or while you do the rest of your makeup. Wipe the dead skin away with a damp towel and thank me later.

Surprise Treat

I received this product through bZzagent for an honest review and I have been spoiled. This lip treatment was actually amazing. I applied it once and it made a huge difference. The following day I still had soft, plump lips with minimal lip lines. The smell was pleasant and I like the soft shimmer. I’m going to be taking this everywhere with me and I’m excited to try all the different scents and products from Lanolips as I had never heard of this brand prior. Definitely worth the investment.

Where has this been?!

I've always seen this brand but never paid it any mind, not enough to buy. But I got extremely desperate after developing a very bad hydration problem and my bottom lip becoming scarred highly pigmented extremely dark, peeling etc. I've never ever experienced this before and the usual lip oil that I love has been sold out for weeks. I bit the bullet on this. I'm glad I did the formula is great, it's extremely thick moisturising ans hydrating. Its going to take my lips a while to recover but I will definitely be using this at night a lovely thick layer and a little goes a long way and I have naturally full plump lips. So like to maintain them.
