Lansinoh's Breastmilk Storage Bags are ideal for storing expressed breastmilk in the fridge or freezer, lying flat or standing up. They now come with a hygienic tamper-evident and secure tear-away top, with a double seal to prevent spills or leaks. You can pump directly into Lansinoh's Breastmilk Storage Bags. Just tear open the perforated seal and gently slip the neck of the breast pump into the bag. Pull down on the bag slightly to line up the pump neck with the white line on the Breastmilk Storage Bag. They're a great way (if possible) for mums to create a bank of breastmilk that can be stored until they are needed for up to 6 months. Made from food-safe polyethylene, they are tough, flexible so they won't leak and no toxins will reach the breastmilk. After use Lansinoh's bags can also be recycled, so you can use them knowing that you are helping create a better future world for your baby. Most councils will recycle plastic type 4 (LDPE).

Lansinoh breast milk storage bags have been very helpful in my breastfeeding journey. These bags come in large quantities with specific directions on how to use them. The bags are durable and convenient. The quality is exceptional. The bags tell you exactly how many ounces to fill to. They also seal very easily and have a spot to write any important information about the breast milk. I lay these bags flat after they are filled and they freeze well. The frozen bags are easy to stack and store. You need these to help store your liquid gold!

I am an extreme oversupplier, I have frozen & donated 27000 in the past 5 months. I just started using Lansinoh bags about 5weeks ago. I have received multiple messages from 3 different mommas that I donate to about the bags leaking. I have bought so many boxes to have on hand. I am so disappointed. I should have known that there would be issues when I went to go tear the tops off and the bag itself would rip (above the seal). Or the base of the bag wouldn’t separate to “stand”.. But I used this brand with my first born & absolutely loved them, so I trusted the bags..Sincerely A Heartbroken Oversupplier

Every Single Bag Leaked
23 March 2024

I was super careful with these bags because they felt thin but it said they were "super strong" so i trusted them. However I wish i never got them because ive lost about a GALLON of breastmilk due to EVERY SINGLE BAG LEAKING. And i only found this out after thawing. And im not thawing in a weird way. Ive used other bags and thawed them in warm water and they were fine but everytime i thaw these bags the water it sets in turns milky so i grab the bag and sure enough its leaking. Every time! Now i see im not alone these should be banned! Thats countless hours spent pumping down the drain i want to cry. Thats liquid gold and its sickening that I had to toss so much of it

Horrible Experience- Would never recommend
13 March 2024

I am a two time mom and have used these bags both times. With my first, I did experience some leaks during thawing, but the majority of the bags were salvageable. This time around, almost every single bag leaks. It doesn't matter if I thaw it in the fridge, in lukewarm water, or out on the counter, they leak and make a mess everywhere. Not to mention 6 months of hard work and plenty of money that will now be spent buying formula wasted. I pushed myself for a couple months to keep pumping when I really didn't want to so that I could provide for my daughter and now I am watching all that time and effort go quite literally down the drain. It is so disheartening, I will actively tell people NOT to use these bags so they don't have to feel this way.

Long time user, 1st time leakage
21 June 2024

have been buying Lansinoh bags for all my breast milk storage and have never had a problem. Batch 23132FA is faulty. It leaks at the 1st zip lock seam, all on the right side. It's a very slow leak...and the 2nd blue zip lock also leaks bc milk is slowly escaping while I keep my milk in the fridge before transferring it to the freezer at night. Each bag has lost 80ml, I freeze 120ml per bag. The ones i didn't catch from this batch froze, but they each have a hole somewhere. Not ideal. Pumping is a labor of love, but this faulty product is unfortunate bc nutrition is compromised.

Manufacturing Defect - Do Not Buy
7 January 2024

As many of the other reviewers have mentioned, we’ve been buying these bags and freezing them since our son was born 1 year ago. Greater than 50% of the bags leak anytime you go to thaw them, rendering 50% my wife’s milk supply useless. If leaking while thawing, it also means that air is being introduced into these bags while frozen. Any bags that leak our pediatrician recommends we throw away… this is absolutely crushing to my wife and today after back to back bags failing she finally broke down causing me to come here and read/write a review. Severely disappointed that the manufacturing issue would have gone on this long without Lansinoh recalling or notifying its consumers. With our first child (3 years old) we had no issues. Not well made

I wrote a negative review on these bags a couple weeks ago. Long story short after using multiple boxes and now being in the stage of thawing and using what I’ve stored, I’ve come to find the majority of the bags break the seal somewhere and end up leaking everywhere. A customer service rep reached out and asked me a lot of questions about the bags, how I was using them, etc. I was happy to give her my feedback. She told me she could compensate two of the purchases for about $35 if I could provide this, that, and the other, to which I did not reply. I appreciate someone listening, but the compensation is almost comical. I calculated out how many hours I pumped and it is at a minimum 10 full days. That doesn’t include the time it took it took to divvy out bottles, prep the frozen milk into the bags, clean the pump to make sure it sterile, etc... just to take these terrible bags and have to put them into another gallon freezer bag so I can thaw them without worrying about losing all my hard work. I still would absolutely not advise using these bags. They are cheap, and that’s an appeal…but that’s also the problem. They’re cheap. If you’re going to put in the work, do yourself a favor and find another way to store your hard work.

Please Purchase from Another Company!!
26 January 2024

Please purchase from another brand if you are thinking of using this product. These bags have leaked numerous times as I am starting to use my frozen milk. As a company for mothers, you would think they would have completed a recall on these defective bags. All the recent reviews are terrible. The time and energy us mothers go through in pumping and worrying about our milk supply, to loose milk when thawing is disheartening and so frustrating. My pumping journey has ended and now I cannot do anything to replace the milk I am losing. Please recall your products!!!!

I've been using these for months with only one single bag developing a hole in it while thawing on a bowl of warm water. Otherwise zero issue with them. the directions say to fill them up to 6 oz but 6 1/2 hasnt been a problem for me. It is best however to freeze in smaller increments to have the exact amount you need without waste. The more plump filled bags also have more wasted air space between them when put together into a gallon size freezer bag block of breastmilk bags. They thaw and warm very fast- much faster than a bottle. In the early days id actually pour my milk into the bags just to warm it faster to serve to baby. Still nice its an option if you forget a bottle and need to empty your breasts on the go. They fit perfectly in a flat bottom freezer bag and keep well when freezer bags are doubled up. i use a permanent marker pen to write on them and it stays on perfectly. I wont be using any other kind.
