I found this fried chili in oil at Kroger and got excited! I had never tried it but I had been watching cooking shows and needed to have some. I was not disappointed. This chili oil is not spicy but it is full of flavor! It has peanuts mixed in and they are nice gems to chew on. I have been adding it to my ramen noodles and dipping my dumplings in it as well. I finished a whole bar in less than a month. Definitely worth a try! I love it so much I have ordered 6 more jars on Amazon!

My absolute favorite! This is a must have in my home. I don’t eat steamed rice without it! The chili isn’t too spice, but rather very flavorful, and the peanuts add a nice consistency to the already tasty oil. The price is unbeatable. A must have!

Absolutely delicious!!

Absolutely love it! Best ive tasted so far. Compared to David Chang chili crunch this is better for sure imo. This is not real spicy at all and has more a smokey crunchy chili flavor. David Changs is good but twice the price and spicier. If you want it spicier and dont mind paying $11 a 5.5 oz jar take that. But for $4.00 for 7.4 oz jar Laoganma is where its at. Absolutely delicious.

This was the first time I tried this, and it was great. It does have less spice than I anticipated, but it has sweet undertones with a hint of slight heat with a minor aroma and taste from the peanuts. overall, prefer it had a little more spice, but overall I overindulged and will be buying more. its not amazing, but it was appealing to my pallette

I love hot sauces and this is the best so far

This chili oil is my new addiction. It is unbelievably flavorful, not just heat but crunchy, with a touch of salty sweetness. It makes everything taste delicious. People use it traditionally for Chili eggs and tofu, but I made some incredibly good spicy green beans simply blanched then lightly coated with Lao Gan Ma. Works with eggplant too.

One of the best tasting chili oils out there. I spend time looking for it when I don't see it on the shelf. The WM staff are amazing at making shopping easier.

Pretty good.

Pretty Good. It lacks the complexity of chili crisp. This is basically chilis and oil. It is more a base to start with instead of a finishing condiment like chili crisp is. The peanuts add texture but not a nutty flavor.The chili’s almost have a floral note. This is medium hot for those wondering. It is a great base for recipes and adds an umami note. If you add sautéed onions and garlic to this it will be just like chili crisp. This has a higher oil content so it would be an excellent add in when cooking or browning meats. It does have salt sugar and msg in it so be aware when using it in recipes.It is also a nice addition to Mayo for sandwiches and is an interesting add in to ketchup for fries.

Walmart Prices are Deceiving.

Good product, but Walmart's price per ounce is wrong and we're all being deceived by their miscalculations.... It's NOT $0.40 per ounce Walmart, it's $0.52 per ounce!... Amazon is still cheaper, even with Walmart's deceptive posted pricing.

Delicious! Not very spicy if that is what your looking for but has a great flavor. I have used it in different ways, so far I mixed some in with honey, grated ginger, sesame oil, garlic, some apple cider vinegar and salt and used it as a dressing for my cabbage salad. I put some over my white rice... so many ways to use this.
