Excellent Performance Two aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements are featured, which reduce both spherical and chromatic aberrations for high sharpness and clarity. A water-repellent "frog eye" coating also protects the front lens element from water droplets and moisture. The lens uses a manual focus design for working with subjects as close as 9.8" away and has a fourteen-blade diaphragm for producing smooth and circular bokeh as well as specular highlights when stopped-down and photographing point light sources. As part of the Zero-D series, this lens has an optical design that renders subjects with minimal distortion in order to suit architectural, interior, and landscape applications. This ultra-wide lens is designed for full-frame Sony E cameras but can also be used with APS-C models where it delivers a 32mm equivalent focal length.
