Bought this item for my 65 year old mother and it was too heavy for her to hold once we added water. She didn't drink out of it because we read the return policy which states they are not obligated to refund you if it's been used. Although we just added water, we were too scared to attempt a return in fear of losing out on our money. We reached out and explain the situation but they didn't seem to be understanding and just quoted their return policy, It's an expensive water bottle and felt like nice quality but if you're looking for something light weight, this isn't the bottle for you. Additionally if you're on the fence, opt for another bottle with a better return policy.

It's leak-proof, durable, and easy to clean. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality water bottle.I use this water bottle every day for my morning workouts and my daily commute. It's the perfect size for carrying around with me, and it keeps my water cold all day long. I also like the fact that it has a straw, which makes it easy to drink while I'm on the go.
Way back I backed LARQ through crowdfunding and this is my third bottle.They are durable, well insulated and that UV twist top really works its magic.I only had to get new bottles because I am extremly clumsy and tend to leave stuff on my car or drop it.
LARQ’s insulated bottles are amazing! I recently upgraded from the standard, non-insulated, self-cleaning bottle to the LARQ, insulated bottle. The original was without a doubt, perfect, light and well made. However, having the insulated LARQ for the last month has totally given me a new appreciation for the LARQ product line. LARQ says cold or hot, the bottle will maintain temperature for 24 hours. But I’m routinely maintaining temps for over 36 hours!! The build quality and finish, is without question. What an amazing product!
It's great as a water bottle, but the "self cleaning" portion of it doesn't seem to be working. I've had this bottle for a little while now & it had already started to develop a little bit of a funny odor, which shouldn't occur if it is truly self cleaning, as stated. Once I washed the bottle, as I do with my other generic water bottles, the odor went away. This is essentially just yet another over-priced water bottle. I'm disappointed that I wasted my money purchasing this thinking that it was self-cleaning, when I could've just kept using & cleaning the water bottle that I'd been using previously since I'm stuck doing the same thing with this bottle now also.
Maybe I should have know this by researching more, but the advertising was misleading to me. The sanitizing bottle is $100. This bottle while solid, keeps things cold is very similar to any other bottle available. The durability isn't great either. Dropped it outside once on gravel, and it scratched/dented.
I enjoyed the possibility of switching the caps to be able to have UV treatment as well as filtration with the other cap and filter.Unfortunately I find it difficult to drink from the bottle. I don't get enough water at each gulp and still feel thirsty right after drinking. It seems water is not coming so you have to suckle but sometimes water drips from the bottle as well. Not easy at all
Unfortunately, this bottle holds so little water given the size of the filter (I got the biggest option). Yet every time you refill, water gets everywhere as (1) the filter leaks out when you open it and (2) it’s hard to gauge how much to fill the bottle, so when you put the filter back, water usually overflows (this design would really benefit from having a mark on the inside and/or outside of where to fill to). Additionally, the straw is hard to drink out of and the non-adjustable placement of the backpack hook gets in the way. Finally, this bottle does not keep water as cold as I would expect, or have experienced with other insulated brands.
