I wish there was a video to teach how to properly use a Larq bottle. Especially for beginners like me who has no idea how to start this, like how to turn it on and how to turn if off. Overall, I'm really loving the PureVis bottle. I held off reviewing it until I'd spent some time with it (I've had it for about 3 months now and I I use it daily and I'm pretty picky with how my water tastes). I did some home "tests" between the PureVis bottle compared to other double walled vacuum sealed water bottles that don't have the UV light technology to see if there was a difference. In general, I find that most vacuum sealed insulated bottles are better at keeping water tasting fresher and less stale than any plastic/non-insulated bottles. With the PureVis, I have found that it keeps the water tasting fresher for longer and overall the stinky water bottle smell is moderately decreased even compared to other vacuum sealed insulated bottles (without the UV ...Ā MoreOverall, I'm really loving the PureVis bottle. I also want to take it into the backcountry and having a larger capacity would be nice. I'd be ok having a bigger water bottle to carry around as I wouldn't have to fill it up as often. It's also quite slippery and I'm definitely afraid to drop it. I bought the Active Cap add-on in the end, and it helps though I'm afraid to hold it exclusively by the cap for longer periods as other reviewers have mentioned that it eventually stretches and the bottle has fallen out. The non-insulated version, with the silicone sleeve is much easier to carry and not as slippery. I also wish the cap came in other fun colours as it does take away a bit from the nice aesthetic of the bottle.Customer Service: I had a small issue with the first bottle as the UV light cap was malfunctioning. LARQ was responsive and after sending some pictures and video to demonstrate the defect, they replaced my bottle and I'm happy to say the new ones if working great!Overall: I love the UV light technology with the vacuum sealed insulated bottle and from my own personal tastes/experience, it does make a difference in keeping the water tasting fresher and less stale for longer. I also like that in a pinch, I can fill it up from a less desirable source and the UV light will do its magic (I've taken it on day hikes in the mountains to try and it's worked well in adventure mode). I'd recommend the Active Loop or the sleeve to help carry it because it is slippery though it would be nice if it actually came with the bottle itself!

I am a kidney transplant recipient and have a reduced immune system. Prior to COVID I traveled to Africa frequently and always had stomach issues from the water. I obviously can no longer take the risk of getting sick. I decided to try this bottle system for water sanitation, I bought two. I have been here two weeks without issue! Amazing! The only problem that I had is after a minor drop of the bottle it created a 1/16th nick in the bottle cap. The pliable top is now delaminating. It does, at least for now still work. I would expect for the price it should be more durable, especially for most intended uses.

Although this is quite heavy for an everyday carry-on product, keep in mind it is build around a vacuum-type insulation system that really keeps products cool for about 8-9 hours. I will perform some thermometer tests in a couple of days to actually record the temperature drop over time, but the initial field test place this above other single-wall solutions. The optional protective sleeve looks and feels great as well and is a welcome addition, since it provides a grabbing loop. Overall I am very happy with my Larq. I purchased the smaller insulated and also the metal clamp. I love the Larq. Water tasges great, stays cold. I feel safe in my travels to countries without safe drinking water. My only suggestion would be to design a black sleeve for easier carrying. I carry it by hooking my finger through the metal clasp, which is ok but not the best after a while. The website goes on about the sleekness of black (and i agree), but then only offers a beige sleeve, which would ruin the aesthetic, in my opinion. I would have purchased a black sleeve. Aside from that, I love it and will continue to use it. I also bought one for my husband.
I have never been happier with Larq. A truely unique bottle that works perfectly well. I have had my first bottle since 2020 when they first launched. It has been flawless. I can't imagine the # of plastic bottles I have not purchased since! Also I live in CA so the amount of water I save by having to daily wash any other style bottle! I have purchased 3 so far. The next two I have given as gifts and the recipients LOVE them as well. They bottles are worth every penny, your return on investment is met within 3 months and 10 days if not sooner. (based on one purchase of one plastic bottle per day at $1 each.) LOVE LOVE LOVE this product!!

Since it's advertised to last a month, charging it takes a couple hours. Bought the limited edition eucalyptus green 17 oz bottle for my husband for Valentineās Day, and he loves it. The color looked great online but is even better in personāless turquoise hues and more army green vibes, instead, which he absolutely loved (and so did IāIām jealous!). We each had a bottle already, thanks to him, and this green one makes a great addition to our set.His previous one (which he still uses), was the limited edition blue, and he accidentally dropped it on concrete, denting the side. So, to help protect his new one (and my current one, which is white/gray), he also just bought us sleeves for each one, and weāre loving those, too.
