Laurastar Lift Original Red

I give a 20 on Laura star iron but how I got it is a hold different story 1 I order back on July 23 I didn't get the ironing board I wanted so I got something else I got the reliable instead the laurastar ironing board 2nd I just got the Laura star today they didn't let me know it was coming and I call almost every day to ask about it the was no email or text to tell anything and they had my email to text me . I stay in a very bad neighborhood and I asked them to let me know but they said it was coming straight from Laura star and they let sewing machine plus so they can text or they're text nobody didy mother is close to 90 years old. If they said anything about it was coming today I stayed home I just saying things could been handled a lot different. BEST IRON & STEAMER

This is my second Lift. Great product, amazing steam power for ironing, freshening drapes whilst still hanging.Also great for freshening up suits, coats, cuts down on dry cleaning.

Best iron ever

This iron is better than any I’ve used before. It’s easy to use and I get the ironing done in no time at all. It has fantastic steam output and the results are great. It beeps when I need to refill the water tank which I keep on the floor next to the board and there’s no downtime or waiting for more steam. Amazing!

Love it, I’ll never go back to cheap irons

This iron is perfect for my ironing. Couldn’t get the creases out of cotton batiks with a regular $150 iron but this one is amazing. I do like the power a dry steam it produces.I also like the design as irons can be very ugly. However I have only had it for a month and already the change filter light has come on. I live in a place where we don’t get much scale in the water so not sure about that. Anyway I do recommend getting one as it’s changed my outlook on ironing.

Love the way it steams!

I've had my Laurastar Lift for at least 3 years now and it hasn't let me down yet. I love being able to do fusible applique without a pressing cloth. I trusted it to kill germs during the pandemic and still do. It was a big investment, but one I'm glad I made.

New model is a dream

After my old lift had met with an early demise (after 5 years) due to a run in with the dog (long story) I foolishly thought I might try and save some money by buying a "regular" steam station. Big mistake. The mistake was returned and a cordless iron bought in its place. This was also a big mistake. Mistake once again returned and an expensive "regular" iron bought in its place. Yep you guessed it. Yet another mistake. The aforementioned Irons cost between $100 and $250 and either didn't iron or leaked water everywhere or both. And so after months of trial and error I took my old broken down Laura star back to the shop where I was offered either a reasonably priced repair or a very generous discount for my sorry trade in. So glad I took the trade in offer. Not just the iron but the service is amazing

No matter where you look Laurastar is the best. I can pack clothes fly across the World and take them out and wear them with no creases .. once you Laurastar you never go back .. amazing and trustworthy and their customer service is fantastic !!! The most fun one can have ironing

We loved our previous Laura Star. Unfortunately it broke and was uneconomical to repair. However, we were so impressed with the previous model that we decided to invest in this new Laura Star. And it is a significant investment, I can honestly say that this is probably the most expensive appliance in my home, but I detest ironing so an appliance that can make that chore fun is attractive.I can definitely say that it's better than the previous one we owned with its built-in water filtration system. The base plate glides over standard business attire, one pass and wrinkles are removed. We aren't sure how they did it, but we seem to be cutting through our ironing pile even faster than we did with the previous model. In my opinion, for the price, it is an extravagance if you don't have a large ironing footprint in your home (i.e. if perhaps all you have to iron each week is a few business shirts). However, it's fast, the results are perfect - definitely the crispest results, and it is fun to use.Downsides, it's a fairly large unit - and won't fit on a standard sized shelf inside your laundry. We've had to store ours in the wardrobe on the floor, underneath our hanging clothes.

Total Disappointment

After paying 450$ and after ending guarantee term look what happens to laurastar main electronic board without any reason. I will buy a miele dishwasher for 450$ and use it everyday and it will last 10 years without any trouble. But laurastar pcb will last 2 year and their service wants half of the new unit price for that card.As an engineer I see many design issues, there isn't any reliable heat isolation between boiler and electronic circuits. Their plastics and iron switches are of poor quality. You can easily scratch iron soleplate even with your finger. DO NOT let their flash appearance trick you, when you buy their product accept that you have nothing in your hands after 2 years. Wouldn’t be without it

I have had Laura star irons for the past 15 years. 2 years ago I got the lift, just because I wanted something more compact.I’ve now bought my daughter one. I had police and airline uniforms to iron and previously had 2 shoulder surgeries, probably from ironing with normal iron.Laura star is wonderful and now I’m only ironing pants and tops mostly.It’s gently, it’s powerful, I love it. It’s almost a pleasure to do the ironing!Back up sales service is great too.
