A really enjoyable cup of decaffeinated ground coffee. It made a nice change to drink a cup of ground coffee instead of my usual instant decaff. I would definitely recommend this coffee.

Vacuumed packed decaffeinated grounded coffee from Lavazza not just smells lovely on opening the pack, but also makes a great cup of brewed coffee. It feels like it stays fresher for longer due to the packaging, but it's hard to know for sure, as we consume quite a bit of coffee.

Sadly the recent batches including its caffeinated variety have been defective. The Lavazza coffee now tastes burnt and peppery, leaving the most vile aftertaste, thereby rendering it undrinkable and substandard. Never has such been the case in all the years of drinking this particular blend. We made the coffee through the usual means, including our espresso machine, bialetti and even the cafetiere, with the awful taste still being present regardless of the method, hence theres clearly been a production issue. Have no choice but to find an alternative coffee going forward.

the best coffee for my parents. They can drink anymore with caffeine and we found this.Gold caffè with good quality. The coffee tastes really good, it's not bitter like others I've tried. It sure doesn't have that strong taste of the caffeinated one, but it's a great substitute! recommend
I recently reviewed the coffee beans of this same coffee. see following ... as we drink decaf mainly due to sleep issues, gave this a try. Pleasantly surprised how great this tasted with and without oat milk. Look forward to a cup each day now. Yum. No faffing grinding beans with this lol.
Great tasting decaffeinated coffee by Lavazza. Smooth and well balanced, you wouldn't know it was decaf. Excellent quality and value for money, would recommend. This product was bought on offer
I haven't been able to drink caffeine for more than 20 years and, until I found this some years ago, I really didn't enjoy my coffee. Now I don't know what I'd do without this. It was a marvelous find: I suspect that anyone in a "blind tasting" wouldn't be able to identify this as decaff coffee. I make it using a simple Melitta cone/filter combo over a mug with about 4 heaped teaspoons. Out comes dark, "strong", "real" coffee which, towards the end, if milk has been added, has a deep caramelly taste... Perhaps the reviewer who is using it in a coffee machine has to use too much water for the machine to work (and thus the taste is diluted, as it would be with normal coffee)?
I normally drink the Rossa (red) Lavazza, but saw this and gave it a try. Compared to the Rossa this black one is bitter to my taste. The grounds looks slightly darker i.e. more roasted. The flavour is marginally more intense, but seem to lack the depth of the red one. The dominant flavour is bitterness, similar to some high street coffee shops. I'm going back to the red!
Lavazza is my absolute favourote coffee, so i was overjoyed to find a decaff version! The same beautiful coffee smell, great taste and distinctive quality. Bought at great price too!
This was an alternative to the own brand ground coffee I usually buy. I have tried it in a French press, drip filter and percolator with similar success. Just the right strength for me and I have drank it every day for a week.
