I have been buying Lavazza's espresso beans for years, amongst others. I really enjoy these ground and brewed on a manual Gaggia espresso machine, served as a double espresso. They also make a great espresso as a base for latté, cappuccino or other home made coffee creations. The flavour is balanced, not burnt or bitter tasting and not so dark that it won't please the average espresso drinker.

Delicious coffee beans with a great flavour and richness with a lovely aroma. It's strong but smooth and doesn't taste too bitter. Rich espresso and lovely for milky lattes with a great taste. Perfect for a coffee lover. Best value for a really great flavour. Really pleased with this purchase.

Really nice coffee beans a dense flavour which was smooth. I loved the crema froat on the top. Good quailty coffee. I would definatley buy again. Bought as a promotion.
I should mention here I got these beans as part of a promotion. Would I buy them again? Maybe. It's hard to tell. They're not particularly good coffee beans but not particularly bad either. For me, it's the sort of thing I'd grind when I want a coffee but don't particularly care if it's a good one. The crema is good, the aroma nice and strong, but the taste is just kind of there in the coffee regions. Definitely something that's more about the strength of the bean than the flavour.

Absolutely love this coffe! So smooth and aromatic. Excellent quality and taste - intense with no bitter aftertaste, simply delicious. Great to have either by itself or with milk. Would definitely recommend. This product was bought as part of a promotion.
I used to prepare espresso with Qualita Rossa beans but found they made a borderline-weak brew due to only being medium roast. To my surprise these beans taste almost exactly the same but with the desired extra strength. The signature Lavazza chocolate and spice notes are present, albeit slightly toned down and overpowered by the extra kick/stronger body.
There's a great degree of pleasure in preparing a coffee, hence why I love using beans. I find they hold their flavour for longer compared to ground coffee. These beans are high quality and produce a nice balanced coffee with no bitterness and a decent crema. Perfectly roasted as well.
Had bought an expresso coffee machine at Christmas and was keen to try it out properly. Bought these beans and was impressed with the taste and smoothness of the coffee. Wasn't particularly strong. Had a good deal on the beans too.
