I bought this product for my son for him to try a different utensil as his non-stick frying pans were displaying distinct Teflon wear and tear. Initially he found the non coated stainless steel hard to work with as the food was sticking to the pan and was hard to clean afterwards. His perseverance and learning how to use the new pan correctly has finally paid off and he now likes it and puts it to good use. The workmanship and the quality of the pan is also very good.

This Le Creuset 11 inch uncoated fry pan is very well made. It is large and has an easy pouring edge. The handle is comfortable and yet the pan is not overly heavy when considering how big it is. It also has a helper handle which, while I don't need it, I'm sure would be helpful for people that struggle to lift things.. It has even heat distribution and no signs of warping. The handle gets warm near the base of the pan after a lot of frying but the holding end of the handle remains cool to touch, so no issues there.When it arrived out of the box it had a mirror finish (which has since faded) and looked immaculate.. I've used it about 10 times so far and each time the food has turned out very nice. It was so uncomfortable to hold that I promptly returned it. There were a limited number of 3 or 5 ply stainless fry pans available to buy in Australia, so there wasn't a lot to options. I spend a few days researching fry pans and was struggling to find one that was large, well made, and available to be purchased in Australia for a reasonable price.I couldn't find many reviews for this Le Creuset pan and couldn't find it in any nearby shops to test, so I bought it and hoped for the best. I definitely prefer the comfort of the Le Creuset over the Allclad, and the larger size is so much more convenient.I've had no regrets buying this pan and feel it's well worth what I paid for it. I thought this pan deserved a lengthy review because I couldn't find much information online about it despite it being an excellent frypan. Hopefully this helps others trying to decide on a stainless ply frypan of their own.

Great, we’ll made fry pan that works well on induction. Just make sure you follow the directions to oil/season to avoid sticking. Solid but not too heavy.

Had the non stick version but this was in pretty bad condition after only 2 years so decided to go to the non stick version. So far so good. Simple to recondition with oil. Lovely quality and should last.
Bought to replace a series of non-stick pans which proved to be anything but. This pan is excellent - can easily be cleaned and goes into the dishwasher as well to be good as new.

The non coated frying pan I ordered was not the one I received, which had a non stick coating. The box it came in was for a non coated pan which means it must have previously opened and substituted.Kept the pan as didn't have time to return it but looks good quality.

I had an older JL, teflon coated small frying pan, and as the teflon was peeling off, I decided that I did not want to continue ingesting small amounts of it, even if inert. One does not know what things might stick to teflon on its journey along the digestive track and beyond. I was looking for an uncoated frying pan, of good weight. Found this one and I am SO pleased with it. It requires less heat than the previous one, as it heats fast. I like the heavy feel of it. I purchased a 24cm matching glass lid, which does not really sit on it properly, but decided to keep it. I wanted a smaller frying pan, but the smaller ones are mostly teflon coated, hence buying this size. I am very happy with it!
