This has become my go to for most things I cook. I’ve made chilis, soups, pasta sauces, chicken, pork chops and loins, beef stews and many other dishes all with superb results. Meat browning is easy and consistent, I love that I can tell when the fond is right and not burning. This braiser produces very tender meats, and soups (creamy and tomato based) are flavorful with the right thickness (reducing is super easy by just leaving the lid slightly askew for the last 15-30 minutes depending)Cleanup has been a breeze and it still looks like new (no changes to the enamel or exterior color). It definitely has a good weight to it so after cleaning and drying it stays on the countertop. Very happy with this purchase.

I mean, how can you go wrong with a La Creuset braiser? We have used this pan 20 times since we got it from our wedding this summer. Braises and browns nicely. Perfect for one pot meals. Take care of this pan and it will take care of you.

I find myself going to this hand braiser for multiple tasks.I have this size and the larger one, and although the largerone gets used a good bit, this size is the true workhorse inmy house. It has all the great properties of cast iron, but is easy to clean, and soap can be used on it. Certainly a favorite ofmine.

Love Le Creuset and have needed a shallow pan like this for years without realising. Such an all rounder. Only thing that isn't so great is that the colour doesn't match exactly to my others as the colour I had before (Almond) had been discontinued and this one (Meringue) is the closest match. But with some wear I think it'll be less noticeable.
I have been wanting this for such a long time, am so glad I finally got it! And at a great price too, the size is perfect for my needs and it's not so easily available in the colour that I wanted. Thank you.
This braiser is the perfect size for me. I like cooking chicken breasts and thighs, salmon patties and pork chops in it. It has excellent heat retention. You can fry foods on medium heat once it heats up. It is very easy to clean. It is dishwasher safe, but I like to wash it by hand. It also looks really good sitting out on the stove. It is a nice addition to my Le Creuset collection in the Oyster color.
"I don’t think anyone can go wrong with le creuset!!!! I thought my allclad cookware was the best cookware ever, but after trying le creuset I have to say it’s my absolute favorite cookware ever!!! This pot cooks amazingly! I cook pretty much everything you can think of in it and they all turn great. They are some pricey cookware, but believe me it’s worth it. I collect the white and cerise and I now have a total of 5 pieces so far and still have a few more pieces to get on my wishlist. I would definitely recommend this product! This is perfect for dinner for two or three. Chicken breasts and or thighs with potatoes, a whole baked chicken with roasted veggies, eggplant parmigiana, and so much more!
Did I need another LC piece? No. But this braiser was my excuse to buy a LC in beautiful Artichoke green. I was worried it would be too small, but I made green olive chicken last night and it turns out it easily fits 6 chicken drumsticks. It's a breeze to clean up and the dual handles make it easier to maneuver than a typical cast iron pan. I think of this as the little brother to my Staub all-day pan, which is significantly larger and heavier. So technically, this braiser was very necessary as it fills in a gap in my cookware collection.
This is beautiful, quality, multi-function cookware. I bought Le Creuset for over years. After trying a lower priced competitor and regretting it, I'm back, having learned a valuable lesson. Quality!
