As many people I’ve discovered it properly while staying in Fairmont. Through I didn’t like the scent before(several years ago I thought it’s not layered enough and to simple). Now, I enjoy simplicity and natural scent of the lotion. I’m intending to buy perfumed balm from Le Labo site. PS when the lotion is gone I’m planning to repurpose the bottles for traveling)

Worthy of the hype, on my skin at least. No dill, no pickles. Leather + papyrus + sandalwood in perfect harmony. It changes and ebbs throughout the day in a way that's extremely pleasant. Shame about the price tag. Cremo's Palo Santo is close to the core DNA, but much harsher overall and no nice leather note. I will always have a bottle of this magic scent on hand. There is not scent of dill pickles

I really wanted to like this stuff and make it a staple in my line-up. Sadly, I did not find the scent appealing nor feminine. The hydration didn't last either. I just don't see what all the hype is about. I got the Santal 33 as well and liked it better, but I'm still not understanding the hype. It's just okay, not fantastic. I gave the Bergamote 22 to my mom. It smells better on her.

This is not the authentic Le Labo product. The bottle was reused to instead house a rose scented concoction that smelled like mayo and was runny like Elmer’s glue. Do not purchase. It was missing the pump safety that the real product comes with. Yuck. So glad I smelled and looked at it before using!
It does smell as good as the perfume and it’s good to add if you are already wearing it. Don’t know why people are saying it’s watered down when it is just body lotion—I don’t think it’s supposed to be as potent. The Santal 33 I got from Nordstrom is a bit less lasting than the one compounded in the actual store I think, but it’s ok. It still smells good. This is my smell of the year and it is amazing. Nostalgic of sitting in a leather furniture store and someone with a lovely fragrance walks by.
A loverly product I'm sure for most women. However, even though it was very moisturizing, one small dollop on my hand and my allergies went ballistic. I don't do well with highly perfumed products and this was one of them. I didn't realize it when I purchased it. I prefer soft scents and I assumed the rose scent would be subtle, but lasting. Lasting...yes. Subtle? Not so much. I tried to wash it off but the fragrance hung in there to the point where my husband asked what the heck I had on!! I wish it would have worked for me. Lovely texture.
I like it. This is the second time I have ordered after having stayed at the Fairmount a number of years ago.The first time I ordered directly from LeLebo.The shipment came in a couple of days early as well. Bonus for Canada post.We also had high tea the last time we were there. Loved your tea, and have since ordered it. Very good.If you are sending out sample sizes of tea and body lotion, lol, I’m all over that. 😀
This lotion is anything but luxury. This plastic bottle is the cheapest packaging possible, the actual lotion itself is so drying and heavily scented. It smells nice but it’s too intense and leave your hands feeling like sandpaper. This product was an after thought. Save your money.
I like Le Labo products. They smell really good. As does this body lotion. However, I did not expect the price tag, which I believe is inflated. The lotion itself is mediocre. Spreads well and absorbs but is not nourishing enough. For this price tag, I expect something luxurious. The scent is nice and deep and lasts a while, which I believe is the main aspect of the product.
Rose 31 is my only perfume and i have a love affair with it. I don’t buy this often because I already buy the perfume and shampoo/conditioner regularly, but when i do it gets used up far more frequently.It has shea butter which is a plus but its not sticky and it sinks into my skin instantly. It nourishes my dehydrated skin just like my usual l’occitane body lotion. I can’t get enough of this stuff. I just wish it’s not as pricey.
