Love the product! Bright colours and see-through enables the kids to see from lots of different perspectives. They came very quickly and were all in perfect condition upon arriving. Thank you.

I love this set. However, my kids are rough. We have cracked a piece within a month and lost some of the tiny circle covering pieces. I love the engagement with teaching these shapes.

It is a good 3D shape learning toy.The shapes are made of transparent plastic which can see through to explore the 3D parts. The size are perfect to hold in hand and build as blocks. It comes with different sizes that can learn to compare. But just be careful the bottom tiny cover would easy fall apart. If want to fill in water or sand don’t forget to put on the tiny cover tight!

Attractive

Purchased for My 3yo granddaughter. Well we opened it & read 8+, I teased her, oh, this is for 8yo, hmm. Then we opened it & she was in love! As an art teacher, teaching shapes and forms is important and she’s ready! These would be wonderful on a light table.

Glad to find useful math tools
25 July 2018

It’s a challenge to find reasonably priced, middle-secondary level math items. Excited to have these for students who benefit from visuals and tactile learning. Love that they’re colorful. Will look cheery on the windowsill when not being used! Keep it coming!

Great concept!

I do not agree with the previous review that the plastic is of poor quality. It is very durable. Yes, plastic is going to get scratched during play; but my set looks great just out of the box, and there is no other way to achieve the see through design in which you can explore volume. That's why I love these! My daughter enjoys adding rice & sand to the blocks, and she's only four. We've also used a light panel, & mirror as different surfaces to explore the blocks. These blocks will definitely grow with her, & I look forward to watching her make discoveries with them!

Happy with this purchase
28 October 2020

They were shipped safely in a sturdy box. They are well made with smooth edges, and are strong enough to withstand normal handling. The colors are nice, and since they are translucent, they are actually quite attractive. Good assortment of shapes to meet elementary math objectives.

I was a little disappointed with this product. I don't think they are made well.
10 November 2020

I was a little disappointed with this product. The half sphere's top came off and the small circle in the middle of some of the shapes came out or was out when they arrived at our school. Unfortunately a child threw another shape and it chipped slightly, however that is more my fault than the product.

So far so good...
12 June 2019

My 2 and a half year old loves shapes and playing with water. Because you can remove the little round plastic piece on the bottom of each one to fill them with liquid it makes it all the more fun. I’ve only given him 2 shapes to play with but I didn’t show him how to fill them yet. So it’s hard to tell how much he truly enjoys them. My only concern is that the construction of the material kind of feels somewhat cheap. If they were to be thrown for example, I don’t know if they would remain in one piece. They are not as thick and solid as I thought them to be but as titled...so far so good. Only time will tell.

Worth the price
5 October 2022

These shapes are well worth the price. The size, color, and durability of each shape is amazing. I have no regrets purchasing this item. Just like the pictures show they are a nice size. Great for my homeschool. My kids love them and do not want to put them down. They are so interested in learn each ones correct name.

The shapes are brightly coloured, yet transparent, so can be used in conjunction with a light source for added effect. Seeing through the 3D solid will help students to identify and compare how 2D shapes make up a 3D construction, whilst being able to examine the removable bases will further reinforce this understanding. Teaching volume One of the most useful features of this product is that the shapes can be filled with liquid or dry materials using the sealable cap. Volume and capacity are closely related topics. By experimenting with the capacity each shape has for holding a set amount of liquid, it’s possible to spark fruitful conversation amongst students on the topics of measurement, area and volume. By making predictions about which shapes might hold the most, and testing these ideas, students will be able to challenge their preconceptions. Made to last The shapes are made from a classroom-friendly, durable plastic, and are presented in six attractive colours: blue, purple, red, green, yellow, and red. In full, this product contains: 14x geometric shapes, one each of large cube, small cube, large cuboid, small cuboid, pentagonal prism, large triangular prism, small triangular prism, square pyramid, triangular pyramid, large cylinder, small cylinder, cone, sphere, and hemisphere. Shapes measure between 30mm and 60mm. Suitable for children aged 8 and above.
