Lee Kum Kee Premium Oyster Sauce, 510 G

Just got delivered a few days ago but disappointed for its packaging because the sauce was spilled over from the top lid. My hand was sticky after I touch this bottle.I am not sure I still can eat this sauce but Walmart doesn't even accept this product return. Maybe just throw it away?

The original sauce was good already but this is even better, more focused or concentrated are some words I'd think of. I am usually fine with the standard oyster sauce LKK makes but for special occasions or if I want a great first impression of a recipe this is my go to for a stir fry sauce. One way to save a bit of money is to put a splash of water and a tea spoon of corn starch to stretch the sauce to get more use out of this as this sauce isn't getting cheaper. The only other premium one that really wowed me was the scallop one that pops up in Asian markets.

Delicious

MSG is in naturally in mushrooms, tomatoes and lots of cheeses, it's added to plenty of ready meals and fast food but it's only ever Asian food that people claim to get headaches from. It's a fear rooted in racism, not saying that most of the people who believe it are racist just the foundation of the myth is. If anything is giving you a headache from Asian food it's probably sodium content and overconsumption. Msg is a just a flavour it's absolutely safe for anyone that doesn't have a genuine intolerance, time to stop propagating this myth.

Excellent quality oyster sauce

This premium oyster sauce is delicious and the best quality. However, this was in my basket for a pre-order at £2.00 a bottle yesterday and today it has gone up to £3.05!!! Far too much of a price hike for me!! I will be buying elsewhere unless there is a rolldown.

Fantastic Sauce

I always use this sauce whenever making a stir fry and it always adds incredible flavour. I definitely recommend trying it!

Great product, expensive, but only takes small amt

I've used this for years - a little goes a long way in Chinese dishes but it really adds a depth of flavor. It's definitely worth the price. Before Covid19 I bought it at a local Chinese grocery but because I'm high risk I no longer go into stores. I'm very pleased I can get it through Walmart delivery

MSG!!

Didn't realise this contained MSG as it was in the ingredients list as its e number. The sauce itself tasted good but was so disappointed by this addition!! Will look to give to someone else and buy another brand

Premium Oyster Sauce [255g]

This very high quality all-purpose seasoning sauce will keep for six months in the fridge. Use sparingly in marinades, stews, stir-fries, & gravies - it brings out the umami. For marinades a tablespoon will serve 150g of meat - just let is soak for 15 mins or more. Use it in most stir fry e.g. broccoli beef, chicken chow mein & special fried rice, but don't overdo it as a little goes a long way. Watered down

I usually buy the large 1 litre bottle from a Chinese Supermarket, and it is exactly the same brand. I ran out and was pleased to see it in Waitrose. However, when I used it I noticed it runs out of the bottle easily, whereas the one I usually buy does not. It is therefore in my opinion a watered down version. Although I still recommend this product it is disappointing to know there is a distinct difference in the consistency, and therefore strength and ultimately profit margin.

Doesnt contain sugar. Hurray. Plus its the best tasting one. Been using for years thank you Ocado for stocking this.
