LEGO 40139 - Christmas Gingerbread House - Limited Edition 2015

I literally bought a pair this morning and walked out of the store wearing them. I walked a lot today - for 6 hours on/off -- all over SF and Oakland. Up hills, down hills, in crappy, rainy conditions. Not once did my feet hurt. I have zero blisters. Not a drop of water seeped in to my feet. Most shoes require a breaking in period. Not these. I am ecstatic about this purchase. Comfortable and great design and color (I have the black/grey ones). These are my first Merrill's and am beyond impressed. I will definitely seek their brand out whenever I need new shoes and recommend them to friends.

I was very disappointed to discover that these shoes lack adequate room to allow any type of whole-shoe orthotic, or even a moderate heel lift. Although the shoes appear very well constructed, it is obvious that they are designed only for people with “perfect” feet, and especially not for someone with a higher instep or need for inserts.

I bought these as a work shoe cause I’m on my feet for about ten hours every day. I’ve loved my merrel hiking boots for every day use and I was hoping these would be the same.I do love these shoes they’re very stylish but they aren’t as comfortable as I was hoping.
