Really I don't even know where to begin with Legos. All 5 of my kids love them, but especially my oldest son. He is a build it and then keep it on a shelf child. He has a ton of Legos I mean totes full. He has loved them for years, he likes to build sets like this and keep them to display. However he also likes to make up things as he builds. They are a great toy that helps children develop their imaginations and to learn problem solving skills. They also help them develop their engineering talents and if you're like my oldest son your coding skills. He actually built a robot out of Legos to pick up and put away his other Legos. They are a well built durable toy that lasts for decades and will always be a favorite for my children and pretty much every child I know.

This is a great addition to the Lego city theme. If you have previously built Legos, then it would be on the easy side, but if you are new to Legos, it might be a little bit challenging. This would be great to add to your airport or any other city themed items.

I am writing this review to give my honest opinion on this product. These are so good for getting kids to learn especially with their hands on how to connect the pieces and how to take them apart. Very good way to help therapy wise for kids to get them better with working with their fingers and hands. My boys love legos and they have helped them with learning how to build things and how to use their hands and fingers better with the small pieces and being easy putting them together. Very good toy to get to help them learn several different ways.

Legos are always the best. It let's your child think bigger and creative. This is definetely the perfect thing that you want to give your kids. My nephew thinks of such creative things to make that I always get shocked. Giving such toys always let's our kids explore their mind and think creative.

My son loves this Lego set. The airplane is huge at 18 inches long - much larger than I anticipated. One issue with the airplane itself is that after it has been assembled, it wobbles due to how the wheels have been attached to the undercarriage of the plane. This is a small complaint and one that I believe we can fix by re-jigging the build a little bit to something sturdier.

This kit contains the necessary to build a postal helicopter, characters and support equipments for use in an airport environment. First complex modulus that my son had to work. Here's the point that makes these games a remarkable tool for development. ' Development of fine motor skills ' development of problem solving skills. ' Promotes spatial reasoning and awareness of proportions and patterns. ' Promotes creativity and encourages children to think for themselves. The real beauty of Legos is that children are not aware of this, for them it is just a fun activity. Think of parents, because, after all, educational toys and games often work better if children do not realize they are learning something!

Excellent value!

I purchased this set because I was making a lego city and it needed an airport.This set has an excellent value out of the minifigures. The minifigures are usually worth about $4 or $5, but for only $10, you get an excellent value with the four minifigures.The overall build was fairly easy, with a very tiny mailbox and a heli out of those 81 pieces.I was also looking forward to this set because of the printed mail pieces. At the time, I only had one from the Creator Changing Seasons set, so after I bought this set, I would have 3 more printed mail pieces for my city.Overall, it was an excellent build and had a lot packed into the 81 pieces. The only con is that the heli was relatively small, but other that that, the set was excellent and had amazing play value.

Fun Build/Option to add to your city

This set is a quick fun build.What I find really exciting is some of the parts and stickers offered in the set. You can purchase a few to add mailboxes and mail carriers to your city. There's the opportunity to add three mailboxes if you use the one red box and the two yellow ones.The white wands are also a piece that is potentially useful for builds.The two dollies are also potential additions for other parts of your town.I think this is a great value for the price.

This helicopter can seat one figure, and has two yellow mailbox pieces on it to put mail into. It's not the best helicopter I've seen from LEGO at this size, but it is very easy to play with, and it doesn't look all that bad. Younger fans will most likely enjoy playing with the helicopter, and older fans can use the pieces for other things.Other components: While only one minifigure is directly related to mail, you get lots of other mail-related items. There are three pieces of mail included, 1 red mailbox with a sticker on it, and, as previously mentioned, two yellow mailboxes on the helecopter with stickers on them. The mailbox uses hardly any pieces, but it serves it's purpose. There is also a built up fuel can that looks very nice, and can be used for further play. Included is a hand cart that can be used to carry mail or the oil can. Lastly, there is a pair of handheld illumination beacons that you can give to one of the airport workers.Play value: For most younger fans, this set will be pretty fun to play with. You get enough minifigures and parts to play out a fun scene, and you can use all these minifigures with other city sets for further play. While this is technically an airport starter set, it could aslo be called a mail starter set, because there are so many mail related things included. This gives you more play options, which I appreciate. This set easily could have just had a generic helicopter with some generic cargo, but when you add in all the mail things, it makes the set much more enjoyable.Value for money: For the amount of parts and minifiguers you're getting, 10 dollars is a pretty cheap price. Even if the price was a few dollars higher, I'd still say it's a good deal. Most any City starter set is a great buy, but like I said, I think this is probably the best City starter set out there.In conclusion, this set is great for most anyone, children and adult LEGO fans alike. If you think the minifigures are good, order this set right now, it's fairly cheap, and DEFINITELY worth the price.

Great starter set!

The set in short is great! The helicopter is small and compact, but gets the job done. I love how it is built brick by brick, instead of big pieces. The airport workers are just enough, and the fuel tank and dolly are a nice touch. The second dolly is a little unnecessary but nice to have. The worker with the guide lights is a big plus, and a very necessary part of any airport. The included mail box is nice because it can be placed anywhere in your city for the citizens to use. Overall, I love the set and hope to see more mail service vehicles in the future!
