LEGO 60262 Passenger Airplane - City

The main thing of interest in this set is, of course, the plane. A beautiful plane, well designed, and fun to build. Minifigs are not bad. But where this set fails a bit is with the kinda airport...... Very not appealing, not well designed, and not fun to play with. The airport is also not beautiful to display at all. I would have prefered only the plane in this set. Either a bigger plane for the same price, or either the same plane, but for a lower price. And in a seperate set, a really beautiful and bigger airport. It is quite a missed opportunity for an airport building... 3/5

A really decent kit

This is a great kit if you like all things aviation. The regional airport terminal is a very basic build, featuring a control tower and check-in desk. Also included is a baggage truck that can carry a small car on one of its trailers.The real star of this kit though is of course the aircraft itself. I was actually very surprised by the scale of this kombi jet, it's truly impressive and highly detailed, similar in appearance to the more recent Airbus jets.The cockpit features two seats, flight yokes, and thrust controllers. The passenger section has five seats, while the mid section features a toilet, baggage bay, and drinks trolley. As a bit of a plane spotter, I really enjoyed building this kit and I think it looks great. Although it doesn't have all the features you might expect from a LEGO Technics set, it's surprisingly detailed for a LEGO City kit. I definitely recommend this one.

Cool plane

This plane is really cool and I was really excited when I got this set. The airport is a little confusing at times like where is the baggage place and why are there so few characters for the plane staff there should be maybe 6 for the price like three on the plane,two in the airport and 1 guy at the top. The plane does dip a little like some reviews have said but if you prop it up, take the car out or you don't hold the end then it's fine. the plane has nice flat bits in on the wing which is a nice attention to detail. The inside is a little cramped in the airport. Overall it's a good lane and a nice size as it's not to small as with two hands it can fly through the air without feeling precarious. Fun set but lacking

Bought this for my tween son, who asked for it, built it, and thoroughly enjoys it -- but I would have loved to see more development of the plane's fuselage, airfoil, etc. instead of having such large surfaces in a single piece. It seems like a waste of money in that regard. Also, the plane's cargo door is flimsy. Love the details of the minifigures, terminal, and smaller vehicles, though -- they provide plenty of play opportunities, especially in conjunction with other sets.

Great idea...but doesn’t work for playing

Our son was dreaming of an airplane to play with - and we got this for his birthday. The idea behind - is fantastic, the daddy figure with a baby and milk bottle, the airport, the open and close functions, the staircase and car that one can be put in...But it’s just absolutely unstable for playing. Basically we have been rebuilding this airplane about 3-5 times a day, I don’t even use instruction set anymore as we know it by heart. The second you try to lift this airplane up and move it from one place to another ( not even attempt to play “flying” with it) it crumbles like sand in the hands. The construction is just not stable enough. It’s been even unstable as you build it up and notice how weak/shaky all connections are. It’s such a pity, we have an entire collection from Lego 30 years ago - grandparents kept all whole and intact, and even our smallest one - 2,5 year old can play with those amazing fire engines with lights and sounds (30 years old!!!) and they never fall apart. From my opinion it’s just faulty design for the functionality of this airplane.

LEGO 60262 City Airport Passenger and Airplane

Extremely pleased with all aspects of my purchase. Delivered earlier than stated. Packed to a high standard. The quality of the item is top notch, larger than I expected (a bonus), fun to assemble, excellent detail etc but we are talking lego here. My granddaughter loves it.

My son loves this!

This took a few hours to build, the plane is very elaborate and looked so awesome when done. My son loved the extra vehicles and LEGO people. His favorite was the dad with the baby carrier. He’s played with that one more than any of them. While he played with this for quite a while, it does come apart in some places easily, so definitely save your instruction booklets. I think he’s gotten more use out of this set than any of the others he has, he loves loading in the passengers and going on a make believe flight.

So much detail

We are so overly impressed with this Lego Plane. We really weren't expecting it to be so detailed in the building process. Everything was so easy to follow, it took around 1.5hours to put together the plane itself, so with the imaginitive play that comes afterwards it really is more than just Lego. It was definitely a bonus to have all the figures included and the little Lego baby is the most adorable thing I've ever seen. Highly recommended if you want to keep idle hands busy.

This plane was on the wish list for a while and did not disappoint!

Lego does a fantastic job once again! Thank you Mastermind Red Deer for your attention to detail (the recipient was also the person picking up...and it was a surprise lol) with wrapping the gift and being very accommodating. What I love about Mastermind too is that they often have fantastic LEGO sales! This was one of these times. Plenty of interesting pieces. Great characters. We love it.

Time consuming but great set

I have a four year old son who has been getting into legos, but he’s wanted to do some of the larger, more time consuming sets.This set includes 669 pieces. It comes with the main airplane, airport truck and elevator, air stairs, terminal, convertible car, and several figures.The great thing about this is that it has interactive instructions where you can zoom and pan to make sure you’re getting the perfect build.I will say this is a pretty time consuming piece. We built everything over several days as it gets a bit tiresome at points. Once you have everything together it’s great for gentle play. I love that the set includes the airport setting for more imaginative play.
