I think this AT-ST is one of my favourites. I really like the looks of it and it was a fun build. One draw back might be that it looks a bit different from the one seen in the Mandalorian tv-show. Its pretty stable when moving around and doesn't fall over easily. It has two lazer cannons that one can trigger which can make it fun to play with for kids. There are four minifigures in total. The two raider minifigures look pretty cool. Then we have Din-Jarin and Cara Dune as the last minfigures.

It's odd that this has just been released by LEGO as a new Star Wars saga set, as we don't yet (at time of writing) have Disney+ here in Europe. However, having seen the official trailers I think we can expect some more sets soon! This is a really good set to build, I really like these walker models and how the legs go together. There is alot of detail on this set, which is not obvious from the box. For example, in the main 'power' section, we have paint-rollers doubling up as power conduits, and 'Indian Jones' whips as power couplings on the legs - great! The colour scheme is much more interesting than the standard Imperial units, with lots of brown, red, cream, green and gun-metal pieces used, giving the model a life-like 'worn out' look. There are two launchers hidden under the main cabin, with neat 'fire' buttons on the back. The cockpit section is cleverly put together, so that the angled look of the AT-ST is retained. Great how the cabin section rotates with screw on the back, looks really menacing! The figures are fantastic - we have the new Mandalorian figure, with a nicely detailed torso, with battle-scared armour, belts with pouches and a bandaleer. I like the gun-metal colour of the helmet, and it has the holes to add extra visor pieces. Not sure about the 'gun' - it's simply too big! There is no 'face' for this figure - probably because it's not revealled in the TV-series? 'Cara Dune' is a cool-looking female figure with a skin-tone that looks new. She has quite a bit of armour detail on the torso with a belt and pouches. She has 'angry' and 'relaxed' expressions. The two 'baddies' - Klatooinian radiers - have distinct costumes on the torso, with lots of fabric and jewellery details that look good. Both are angry about something!Gripes? Only two. Firstly, stickers - there are alot, and people always complain, but they do make the model. Second is just annoying. The twin cannon on the left-hand side of the model just falls off when you touch it. It can be remided with other pieces of course. I will change it in due course.Overall, great fun to play with, good selection of new charactors, nice details and colours for your own models later. Now - can we have the twin-engine Mandalorian ship?

This is the first AT-ST I’ve built, so despite it being a similar build as past versions, it was new to me. Definitely a fun build. Without providing spoilers, it’s hard to judge the accuracy because you don’t get a great look at the AT-ST in The Mandalorian scene it appears in. I was personally drawn to the red and browns on this set and can imagine the AT-ST in the show looked like this. Would have been nice to have included menacing red eyes Somehow as in the show, though. As another review mentioned, Mando’s minifig isn’t full Beskar, which for the scene, is disappointing. LEGO / Disney should offer a reprint for that. Overall, I give the set a B rating. My son loves it, too, and will look nice on the shelf when he’s done with it.
The Star Wars AT-ST RAIDER is awesome! It took my son and I a little over 3 hours to build. It was fun but slightly challenging at times. I would not recommend this for anyone under the recommended age of 8. Even then they will need some previous experience building with legos and thorough comprehension of following instructions. The instructions are detailed and easy to follow. One of the best things about this is the functionality after it’s built. It has a lot of moving parts and is fun for my son to play with while being sturdy. The only thing that does come off easily are the guns. I also like that it comes with 4 Star Wars LEGO people including Cara Dune. I would definitely recommend this set to any Star Wars fan or LEGO lover!
I purchased this set as a fan on the Mandalorian. Here are some things I liked about the set:- The model looks great, I appreciate the detailed such as the greebling around back and the wires/ropes along the legs.- The colouration of the legs really makes it look like the scraps of the Empire.- The model looks pretty good from every angle.- Cara Dune is a great exclusive figureHere are some things I did not like about the set (nitpicking incoming)- Exposed technic holes on inside of legs (easy fix with a few parts)- Limited articulation, although I don't often play with my models myself.Overall, this set scores 8.2/10, and gets the rating: Pretty Good :)
I am a big fan of The Mandalorian series on Disney , and this set had my interest when I first learned about it. This is themed from one of the episodes on Season 1, which thought was very good. This set has been very well detailed and was a lot of fun to build. The build difficulty was not too hard but provided enough challenge to make it fun. It's a great display piece and I'm sure it's a lot of fun to play with. The only thing I wasn't crazy about is the Mandalorian minifigure suit. I would have liked to have seen his suit updated to the shinier suit parts he had on later episodes of the show. Nowhere near a deal breaker, though.
People tend to think this set is amazing BECAUSE it is from the masterpiece series Mandalorian. But take a closer look all together at this set. It is just another AT-ST with different colors and some stickers. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE THE MANDALORIAN so much ! But let's be honest. For the price of this set, LEGO should have included 2 or 3 more minifigs, at least. The Native American farmer lady (played by Julia Jones, the lady who has a crush on Mando), another farmer and another enemy soldier would have make this set a perfect midsize set. At least LEGO didn't forget to put the beautiful Cara Dune in this set. You think I am too severe in my critic ? I love LEGO, a lot, but LEGO has to understand not only kids are playing/collecting these sets. AFOL too.
Set (AT-ST Raider):Overall, I loved the build. It was a nice change from previous AT-ST sets that were all grey and sporting the more "classic" Imperial Style. The detail on this walker is AMAZING. Especially the section behind the main driving cockpit near the head turning mechanism. Although there are a fair few stickers, they are quite nice and give a very rugged look to the walker that I personally love. However, more printed pieces would have been nice. My only problem with the build is regarding pieces #4211888 and #4520320 which build the forward cannons at the front of the walker. I could not for the life of me make the pieces go together. They simply bent the plastic on piece #421188. To remedy this, I had to go into my LEGO bins and find another #421188. ... MoreSet (AT-ST Raider):Overall, I loved the build. As this piece is not super common, I see this as a problem for new builders and for those buying this as a first set. I am not sure how widespread this problem is but it did happen to me. That was my only problem with the overall build. The set is amazing and has great playability features. Overall, 8/10 on the set.Minifigures:I actually really enjoy the minifigures in this set. Especially the Klatooinian Raiders. I think their armor pieces are very cool. Both the Mandalorian and Cara Dune are awesome as well. My gripes with the minifigures, however, is mostly a Star Wars fan consistency issue. Mando should have been in his new beskar!!! By this time in the show he had it. With that being said, his figure is awesome and it is a great addition to my collection. My only gripe with Cara Dune is the hair piece but I believe it is good as is. A tattoo from the Rebel Shock Trooper Corps would have been really neat on her arm as well. Overall, 7/10 on the minifigures. This set is truly awesome. Don't let my Star Wars fan gripes and general LEGO experience turn you off from it. Would totally make an awesome gift or display piece. Especially for those who have watched The Mandalorian. Happy building!
When I got this set I was supper excited considering I had just watched the whole mandolorian series! So I quickly built this set. I was a disappointed when I saw that the mandolorian figure has armor from the beginning of episode 1 when this set takes place in episode 3. At the time of the set the Mandolorian would have had completely upgraded all of his armor. Having read I fellow review I understand why the figure is inaccurate. But I think that LEGO could have redesigned the chest and leg pieces, because I’m sure a lot of LEGO fans like myself would buy that figure considering that the Mandolorians armor was one of the highlights of the show. I also think LEGO should have included the famous baby Yoda. But other then that I loved the set and it’s play features.
