I have been able to get this set for Β£35 and at this price it was an excellent bargain. Is this set worth Β£85 - not for me, but if you can get it for around 60-65 you are good.Best things about this set:- its big- excellent colour selection, the orange accents are amazing- feel like an upgrade from the previous black poe's xwing- no gaps between the wingsNot so great:- the way the wings mechanism works, it feels like it snaps in a janky way - I prefer a more smooth mechanism- spring shooters should have been integrated into the body like on an a-wing, currently on this set they are awkwardly attached to the wingsDefinitely recommend it for a collector - get this x-wing and you don't need any other!

It was gift for my son for Christmas. It was on his wish list. Buildin experince is classical with few tricks for him - wing movement, but he manage it with help. He play with it now for few hours, so parents can have some time for their own. No parts were missing. great Lego. I am looking forward to buy your next set from wish list.

75273 is the latest T-70 X-Wing to be released by LEGO and the first minifigure scale T-70 to be released since 2016. This model offers many improvements over its predecessors, but is unfortunately still lacking in some areas. The build is fairly straightforward, comprising mostly of standard system elements. The most complicated part of the build is the wing mechanism, which is built with a handful of technic elements and is held together by rubber bands. Poe Dameron returns from 2015βs rendition of the T-70, this time with the very welcome addition of his hairpiece alongside his helmet. R2-D2 is also included. As one of the most recurring minifigures in the entire LEGO line he may seem unexciting at first, but this version features an updated head print that has finer details. This updated R2-D2 also appears in the other new for 2020 sets. Two exclusive figures from The Rise of Skywalker are included, Jannah and a Knight of Ren. Jannah is a fantastic minifigure, featuring a new hairpiece and arm printing. I would very much like to see arm printing included on future Star Wars figures. The Knight of Ren has an excellent helmet that resembles Kylo Renβs. I like this helmet very much as it does not seem oversized or misshapen like Kylo Renβs helmet, which I believe needs to be revised (the knightβs helmet in black with new printing would be closer in my opinion but still inaccurate). As far as LEGO X-Wings go, this set is pretty good. The new curved pieces used to construct the engines make this set look much more accurate than the previous versions. Itβs colour scheme is very striking, I like it a lot. However, there is still room for improvement in the nose of the ship. The technique used to build the nose was first used in X-Wings from the early 2000s, I have no doubt that LEGOβs talented designers would be able to make a more accurate shape with modern elements. The wing mechanism is very smooth, and while I appreciate how easy it is to use I do not like the use of rubber bands. I prefer to display the set with the wings in the open position, which wears out the rubber bands over time. I have already had to replace the bands on the 2018 version of the X-Wing. Including a spare set of rubber bands would be a nice solution, though I would prefer to see the return of the scissor mechanism used to construct the wings on 10240 Red Five from 2013.I have one complaint with the set, and itβs a big one. $160 is far too much for this ship, especially when considering the 2015 version of the set was $130 which was already pushing it. Iβm thankful that I received this set for Christmas because I would never pay that much for it. This price increase is not in line with inflation and thereβs no significant difference in whatβs included. The piece count may have gone up, but the model is designed to use multiple pieces where one would have sufficed. For example: the model uses 2 1x3 plates placed together when 1 2x3 plate would have sufficed. This trend of using small pieces to build large models is nothing new and has been more prevalent in recent years. Thankfully larger D2C sets are still priced well, but general release sets in the mid to high price range are starting to become too expensive for whatβs included. Something needs to change behind the scenes to allow for lower set prices because LEGO is beginning to price out their own market. I for one will be spending less money on LEGO, which is a shame because I am not the type of customer that the LEGO group would want to lose. I regularly buy entire waves of sets and I have bought every Star Wars D2C from the last few years. In conclusion, this set is a fantastic rendition of the T-70 X-Wing, albeit an expensive one. I still see room for improvement in the design of LEGO X-Wings but the current design is more than suitable. The figures included are excellent and are very appealing to collectors. I would recommend this set, but only after a heavy discount.

A great model with a food combination of basic and complex build techniques. Interesting mechanics for operating the wing movements, that I suggest builders pay very close attention to correct fitment of the pieces as there is a lot of pressure in the system, and it will not work if the pieces are not seated correctly. Took me 10 minutes of fine tuning to fix a problem where the wings wouldnβt latch open. All because I had left a minuscule gap between two pieces. Details are brilliant, build is well designed.
The model looked excellent from the pictures so was keen to purchase it and was not disappointed. The build, although straight forward was a pleasure to complete. I loved the contrasting orange and white colours of the the fighter, along with the selection of mini figures supplied. The moving features on the fighter are great and the fighter looks even more impressive, wh3n the wings are set in the open position. I also was pleased to see there was only 3 small decals for the fighter. Only small feedback, would have been to have a slighter bigger stand, although the model was not unstable. A definite purchase recommendation.
Let me start off this review by stating that the $90 price will feel steep at first. You're going to feel the sting and then possibly reconsider your purchase. But after building this set, I would gladly pay $90 again (Lego, don't take this as a reason to raise it to $100...)Compared to Poe's X-Wing from 2015 (75102), this set is a home run. The wing mechanics are seriously satisfying, the colors are very well done, and the feel or "swooshability" is excellent.Having that next Knight of Ren is a nice bonus, and this Poe minifigure feels more accurate to the movies. Janna is instantly recognized and a very nice addition. Especially her hair piece.Overall a wonderful set to build and display. Well done Lego.
This product for dark under-eye circles made my dark under-eye circles worse. It is specifically marketed as used for this so I was surprised that it not only didn't work, it made things worse. Clearly it doesn't work for everyone.
This is the first Lego set I have built in 20 years, and I must say that it was an incredibly nostalgic experience. The instructions were easy enough to understand for a beginner, and overall it took me around 4 hours to complete (finished while watching A New Hope & Empire- I would highly recommend a Lego build & movie marathon for a satisfying Saturday night!).The only thing I'm not a huge fan of are the elastic bands on the wings. I find that mine have a lot of tension, which makes the mechanism difficult to use, but this is not a deal-breaker for me.Not everyone is a fan of the orange colouring, but I certainly am. It is absolutely stunning!I would also like to say I am not the target market for this set, but if any other 30 year old ladies are wavering on ...Β MoreThis is the first Lego set I have built in 20 years, and I must say that it was an incredibly nostalgic experience. I had a blast making this X-Wing and I will not be hesitating to expand my collection.
I have one of the resistance X-wings and the recent rebellion one. So I wasn't that excited when LEGO released another. However, while the build is basically identical to the other recent X-wings the design is awesome. I love the color scheme of this ship and it's reflected so well in the set. The figures are also great, Poe is good, Jannah is actually surprisingly detailed, and the Knight of Ren is a fine addition to the collection. Maybe 10 dollars less would be nice but it's hardly material. If you are considering this set, I would go for it especially if you can find it on a slight discount.
We bought this for our 10 year old son for Christmas. It was a fantastic deal from IWOOT and everything from ordering to delivery was straightforward and efficient. It arrived in perfect condition and within the timescale advertised. Our son loved it. It was the first present he opened, and the last for about two hours as he couldn't wait to start building it! If your child is a fan of Lego and Star Wars this makes a great present. I highly recommend both it and IWOOT!
