LEGO 76934 Ferrari F40 Supercar - Speed Champions

This F40 was the first Speed Champions set to catch my eye. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to display such a classic supercar on my desk, and I was not disappointed- the complexity of the building techniques gives the model unbelievable detail, especially towards the rear of the car. Lego has certainly come a long way. My only nit-picks are that the headlights don’t slope like they should, and that it is very difficult to seat the minifigure inside while fully closing the canopy (See attached image). Nevertheless, the F40 is the best Speed Champions set released so far in my opinion (the Countach is a close second).

I recently had the opportunity to try out the LEGO Ferrari F40 Supercar. My teen and I worked on it as a team, and it was fun and entertaining. Building it together was such a satisfying experience. And the overall details to the car were impressive. My teen loved that there was a chance to customize it with a choice on the wheels. She went with the option that was on the box. It’s not overly complicated thankfully, so I didn’t feel overwhelmed. It was engaging and I truly enjoyed building it. It sits proudly on display in my home, and we smile every time we walk by it.

Nice car. 🚀🚘 Thank you, Lego, for this beautiful building toy. this is very rare car indeed over $2 million per real one so it was exciting to have my kids playing with a beautiful model of the significant vehicle. 🚗 The instructions very precise packaging is super easy and I can’t wait to upload the final results of their building construction soon. Love love the colour love the book with instructions and it’s just so fun that we can own it at at least in this version. Thank you so much. That’s cool. 🏎️

Best Lego Car Ever

best lego car ever. i have around 10 speed champions and this one and the lamborghini countach are my favourites in terms of looks. this was so fun and easy to build and the ferrari f40 is my favourite car so i was so happy that lego remade their speed champion version as the old one did not look that good. only downside is that when you put the figure in the car you have to put her right arm up a bit because otherwise she pushes the doorside outwards

The front windscreen had a couple of noticeable scratches on it, and 2. One of the rear light 1x1 tiles had misaligned printing which looks a bit odd (See photos).Apart from these issue the set looks really nice on display and also has relatively good playability and is fairly robust when picked up and moved about. I’d definitely recommend for automotive fans and collectors.

Everything but the front is amazing

I love all of it but one thing I noticed was that the fronts a little off. I dont understand why there are two obvious holes on the front. I guess they are for the lights but I think that having those holes dont help it and I think that it could have been covered with a clear 1x2 slope brick or something like that to help the shape. Also the middle group of blocks dont line up very good. Though that may have been the best I guess but the flip up headlight stickers are hard to line up. Though overall it is a great product thats just my opinion on the front end. My daughter and I are absolutely thrilled with the Lego Speed Champions Ferrari F40 set! The car looks incredible and is packed with so many unique details. It’s truly a masterpiece for any Lego enthusiast, car lover, or collector. This set is the perfect Christmas gift for anyone who enjoys building or collecting cars. Highly recommended!

So glad we got another F-40

Years ago, the Speed Champions F40 was released. I was pumped at the time until they released 8 stud wide speed champions thus making the original F40 appear inferior and puny. It, of all cars, was due for a SOLID revamp, and here it is! This is a proper F40 through and through with all the right details. Absolutely perfect. Thanks LEGO!

Ugliest Ferrari to date

Where to start with this monstrosity, everything is wrong about this kit. The obvious narrow windows on the windscreen, the gaps in the doors, the chunky wing, the boring design that had been done well with the 6 wide years ago. The biggest offender is the lack of headlights that ruin the side profile and make this entire kit look rushed, incomplete and something no one wanted.All mocs and alternate builds are better than this, and we didn't need it. Simple design changes in the brainstorming area should have been obvious and missed opportunity for Ferrari to have another iconic kit.This last tier of speed champions is the worst of the year, and I love lego so it doesn't give me any joy in bashing something I care about.
