This is an excellent Black Friday value that you guys release every year. However, parents, beware - when you open it, it does look like a LOT less Legos than you think it'll be - but that's the nature of Legos. The sets never look like a lot, but it is for what it is. I buy one of these $20 boxes almost every year for my kids to play with. Please never discontinue this set!

The box is HUGE compared to the number of legos... I think this is misleading a d wasteful. Not very many square bricks, I'm a teacher and there aren't enough normal pieces so that kids can really build. Legos fill 1/8th of the box. In the photo of the outside I'm pointing to the line the legos fill. As far as legos go, they are awesome... because they are legos but this isnt as great of a deal as I expected (black Friday buy)

My 4 year old son is starting to transition from Duplo to the smaller Lego. This set makes a perfect Lego starter set as it includes a large selection of general pieces making it to open to constructing a whole variety of different shapes and models using their own imagination.Top Lego quality as expected. Absolutely chuffed that I found this set on offer on the Asda George website at such a great price during the toy sale.

Excellent product that has certainly enhanced my 10 year old's creativity with his lego imagination. Vibrant colours and a good supply of basic bricks are enhanced with extra small parts that form to make a really good combination. I also ordered this and it was ready for collection at Asda exactly when they said it would be. Il certainly be using George again.
A very handy collection of various Lego bricks, wheels & other assorted pieces.This was just what the boys needed for their Lego collection.Brought for Xmas so we've not had the pleasure of putting them in action yet, but I expect them to go down a treat in the crafting of many different action pieces.Well worth the money in my opinion.
Lots of unusual parts that enable many models to be made. Besides a construction manual/booklet, there are on-line instructions on the website.Thought that it might be a little difficult for her but our 5 year old granddaughter is well able to follow the instructions and build quite complicated models by herself! I also has the advantage on enabling some free thinking and construction of a host of models. Picture shows completed and 'in construction' models.Best purchase of LEGO made so far.
My 9yr old doesn't typically ask for specific gifts, he's happy with anything he gets but for the first time he has something written on his Christmas list... just lego bricks.... no themes or anything... simply bricks! I searched and searched for deals (brick boxes with substantial pieces of lego are EXPENSIVE... and somehow ran into this special edition bargain-priced box which I now understand comes out during the festive period, so I picked up 2 boxes. My son will be very happy. Thanks Walmart!
Bought this box for my sons. And we all love it! Maybe I actually play with it more, but the variety of bricks is just perfect. And I love these creative boxes. My oldest son is 6 and when he gets a “construction” box, he seems to be very upset when his brother (3,5) wants to play with it. When you have just your imagination it’s easier to remain peace ;)
There is nothing like classic Legos. The boxed sets of predesigned items are great. But the classic legos let your child's imagination soar in any direction! My daughters loved them throughout their entire childhoods and now my grandchildren are enjoying these classic legos.
i like it because they are in separate bags, making many different things and using the imagination . First off, my 3 youmger grandchildren all play together. No fighting over it each child can make whatever they want. I do need to buy more bases for the small legos. they have suggested things to make. Its great they actually play together. There ages are 3, 10 and 13.
