Bad shipping method, great set.

The set itself is great, highly recommend for Batman and Lego fans. Sadly, the delivery was without a box whatsoever with the mailing label slapped on the Lego set itself. Very unprofessional method of shipping, almost spoiled the gift for Christmas.

Batfreakingtastic!

This is SO FREAKING AWESOME! I have a collection of diecast Batmobiles from 1:18-1:64. My personal favorite is the 1966 Batmobile! This is going to fit in perfectly with the rest of my collection!

Classic Lego Batmobile Toy even I can build.

What a great classic toy! I found it pretty easy to build (for a over 60 yo man). And looks great. I like the stand and plague for display. Kinda sucks no Robin, but that is the worse thing I can say and you can find him elsewhere. The end result really looks awesome. I like the way the separated the pieces into stages. The design of the Batmobile is very true to the car used in the TV show.

Definitely one to pick up

I am not a big batman fan but my son is. I bought it for him as a gift. It arrived on the date is ws supposed to. It was packaged with care. Once my son opened it. We started to put it together. I have to say Lego has done it again. It was a nice build. Easy to put together. The directions were on point and definitely a lot of fun factor.

Excellent set, but no Robin.

This is a great set, I was surprised with the value you get for the price. The build is concise and appealing, with only very minor issues. I very much appreciate that Lego included the parts to swap out the stud shooters on the hood with a more "display friendly" set of black sloped tiles. Also, the stickers can be tricky to put on, as they should have all been printed on the pieces. While I really do like the UCS-Esque plaque that comes with the set, I would much rather have had a 60's Robin figure. I mean, it is the Batmobile, you gotta have Batman *and* Robin in it. Don't get me wrong, the Caesar Romero Joker figure is excellent, but I would rather swap out the Joker figure and/or the stand for a Robin. Missed Opportunities

My son asked me to review this for him. He loves the set nearly entirely except for a couple of things. One, he really thinks Lego missed an opportunity to use the Burt Ward '66 Robin. It also really bugs him that even though they used a period accurate and unique cowl in the Lego Batman 3 game, they used a generic run of the mill cowl for the set, which makes him look like nearly any other Batman. He did have fun building it though.

Reselling is cool!

Love this set! The original 1966 is the best version for fans and collectors. Especially when you buy them at the $30 retail price. I buy several from each store and then resell them for three times the price online. I cant keep them in stock. Sometimes I sign them with George Barris’s autograph even though he passed away in 2015. People are so dumb…Ugh

Retro lego Batmobile

I have been collecting batman memorabilia for over 10 years and Im always looking for new and unusual items. This fits the bill. I love the old 60s Batman and to find a Batmobile of that era as a lego kit was absolutely fantastic. I will add it to my growing collection, but i will not put it together, in the box its worth more, so i may have to buy another to have the joy of putting one together. The 1960 Batmobile is a must-have for every collector!

It's the 1960 Batmobile. What's not to like about it? It comes with Batman and Joker minifigures and is in scale with the other Batmobiles that are currently on the market.
