Excellent machine, very well built: a pleasure to use. Solid, not noisy, compact. It's true that the chassis bends a little when forcing the closure, but not a problem. By pure luck, my first coffee was perfect.... Then the long learning journey started!! And I'm happy with that! The machine is well in the "prosumer" segment, thus the filters are quite large and you need either a finely grounded coffee or a lot of coffee. A good grinder is definitely recommended: take the all-in-one PL042 if you can. The PID works as expected and it's nice to control the temperature. A note about temp. stability: the sensor is at the entrance of the heater, to sense the "error" in temperature. That's why the value "drops": see videos on Lelit Insider channel about true stability ...Ā MoreExcellent machine, very well built: a pleasure to use. Solid, not noisy, compact. Great machine that produces great espresso. Could be a little stronger structure wise and the steam wand is difficult to get used to. Tends to superheat milk and hard to get silky texture. 57 mm only accessories are a nuisance as searching far and wide there's barely availability.Otherwise heats up fast, Manometer and PID really help, and once you get your dial and grind right produces some of the best coffee I've ever had.

At long last, the Lelit Anna 2 is available in North America again. My first week’s assessment with the machine Is ā€œGreat value in a solid machineā€. After my first shot registered only 3 pounds this relative newbie was able to dial in my grind to get a 9 pound 20+ second shot of crema. The pid is great to understand where the temperature is at. The sturdy 57mm portafilter gets plenty hot to help produce a consistent shot. The one hole wand is easily manipulated and produces plenty of steam. The rotary dial valve also operates easily. My suggestion for Lelit is that they could have made the tray completely out of stainless instead of including the black plastic. Great Machine
20 May 2024

The Lelit Anna has proven to be a wonderful entry level machine. It has a PID and for me it consistently brews at 9 bars. For the price, its a great machine and I've has some wonderful espresso with it. The steam pressure is powerful and gets up to temperature very quickly. The biggest drawback is the 57mm portafilter. I was concerned about being able to find accessories for it but so far I've been able to get everything I need.I would highly recommend this machine!

Great for value

I've had this machine for a couple if years now and it is excellent ... for its price.Of course there are frustrations. The 57mm basket/portafilter is a big down side, i think you can get a better basket but it will only fit in a ***** group handle and the better 57mm baskets are difficult/expensive to source from Australia. If you're in a situation tho where you want as near a professional machine with a hard budget of around $900 you probably couldn't do better that this. (Not considering grinder)Some temperature surfing is required. You can get a small lelit limscale filter to fit in the water tank which i recomend. The only issue i have with mine is that the steam wand is starting to leak/ get stiff. But being a semi pro machine it can be serviced and repaired ...Ā MoreI've had this machine for a couple if years now and it is excellent ... for its price.Of course there are frustrations. LELIT ANNA learning curve
26 January 2022

This Lelit Anna replaced my Rancilio Silvia that I ran daily for the last 18 years, (bought it used so it was 20+ years old), The Anna is a machine that I am still learning to use. It is a more precise machine than my old battle tank Silvia. Ms. Silvia knocked out 2 doubles every morning like clockwork, 6-minute warmup, flawless steaming. Anna takes longer to heat up, but it’s on a timer so that is not an issue. The PID on the Anna is great! Anna’s a nicer looking machine and easier to fill and clean. Pressure is somewhat disappointing. Regardless of grind or blend, extraction is steady at 8.5 bars. Mostly the gauge just signals the true start of extraction, and then it’s a matter of watching the pull develop. Steaming milk takes longer, getting to the right texture ...Ā MoreThis Lelit Anna replaced my Rancilio Silvia that I ran daily for the last 18 years, (bought it used so it was 20+ years old), The Anna is a machine that I am still learning to use. Pressure is somewhat disappointing. Regardless of grind or blend, extraction is steady at 8.5 bars. Mostly the gauge just signals the true start of extraction, and then it’s a matter of watching the pull develop. Steaming milk takes longer, getting to the right texture and then throttle back to the final temperature. Just for laughs, I tried a finer grind and used the pod filter for a 16g double shot. This produced the best crema I’ve had to date. I’m thinking of getting a bottomless portafilter to explore this further. Do get a steel 57mm tamper or similar as leveling and light tamping is inconsistent with the plastic tamp included with the Anna. Unlike the Silvia, you can't consistently get the right distribution and tamp from locking tightness against the diffuser screen. So, in summary, I’m not there yet, but I’m certain that when I get the hang of the Anna and the other accessories, it will not fail to satisfy me. I would definitely recommend this machine, and be patient with it.

Nice value šŸ‘

Machine is great.Brand New, spotless.Coffee taste really good.I use glass cup and you can see the body, heart and crema forming. Good shots.Like another person was saying, I also had problem priming it the first time, just be aware of that.(The pump does not like running empty.)Buying and shipping was very good, clean, efficient. The SMS interface... automatic( robot)I found not so intuitive, but I'm an older person?.Price is great, although I just missed the free tamper promotion 😭Anything you can do?I'd happily pay for the shipping.Have a nice day

Solid little machine

A great upgrade from my previous machine (Via Venezia), it's shiny as ever. Heats up pretty quickly. Decent steam comes out, haven't quite got the hang of it for milk, but much better than last machine. The 57mm portafiter size doesn't matter to me since I'm not worried about accessories that much. My Gaggia MDF is consistent enough to get good shots dialed in as long as I'm doing good bed prep, so I'm content. The single shot basket works okay too. The water container is a little weird, but fine and was able to drop in a water softener cartridge since it's not recommended to descale the boiler all that much. The challenge might be it's not that popular in the US, but for the value you get with the gauge and pid it really should be. Between my wife and I we've been pulling 6-8 shots everyday for a month and it's been solid. This thing looks like it's built inside to last and be serviceable, so here's hoping this will last 10years like the last machine I had.

Sublime Espresso Machine
1 October 2022

The LeLit Anna consistently outperforms my previous espresso machine (Ascaso Duo). Love the compact dimensions, the boiler and steamer run beautifully efficiently taking little time. I was a little skeptical initially with the low pressure but have been blown away by the results, consistently great crema and a silky surface to the espresso. After a couple of months pulling 5-6 espresso's daily it's been flawless thus far. The water tank is a great size, rudimentary yet effective. I use the steamer without the outer sheath and the results (with the right milk) are fine however if coffee art is your thing, you may want something a little more. Have to say I really enjoy this espresso machine. Service from Comiso was also exceptional.

Very nice machine, a keeper!
17 May 2024

I have been using it for 3 weeks now. Make a Cappuccino every morning.Never an issue steaming milk. Consistent shots.Pros:Heats up to brewing temp ~2 minutes, the head group is too hot to touch at about 2:30 minutes. Takes ~1 minute from pulling a shot to steam temp. ~50 seconds to steam the milk to about 140fThe drip tray is plastic which I like, no buzzing or rattling when pulling a shot and easy to remove for emptying.Quieter than the 6 year old machine it replaces which was all plastic.Steam wand is on a ball joint and is plenty long.Toggle switches.pid and manometer.Con:The included tamper is, well ......... There are nice 57mm tampers available at a reasonable cost though.
