Fantastic turntable for a budget price. Unpacking it was a pleasant surprise. It looks great and has quality feel. I connected it through a Sonos amp and bookshelf speakers and it sounds great too.

Easy to set up, sounds fab and looks sleek. Think it's a great option for anyone looking for a record player on a budget! However, I didn't realise when I bought it that it needs separate speakers - think this could be made more clear online!

SdCheap turntables with inbuilt pre-amps and USB recording: Enough to strike fear and mockery from Hi-Fi enthusiasts. Indeed this turntable has gained some poor remarks from self confessed audiophiles based on price alone on a certain internet forum, I may add that none had seemingly heard one in action! I therefore advise you to read the 4 out of 5 star 'What Hi-Fi magazine' review and numerous positive comments on a rival retail giants site. The comments are apt: this is an excellent turntable with great sound. It may not be able to compete sonically with decks in the 200 + region, yet it is VASTLY superior to the awful 50s style briefcase players and supermarket junk. Oh. For the record (pun intended): the comments you may read about lack of adjustable ... MoreSdCheap turntables with inbuilt pre-amps and USB recording: Enough to strike fear and mockery from Hi-Fi enthusiasts. For the record (pun intended): the comments you may read about lack of adjustable counterweight and anti skate on some forums doesn't mean this turntable lacks such features. It is simply a case of these features being non user adjustable as they are factory set for the fitted cartridge. Having bought this turntable I can confirm as such.

I bought this after reading the review on the best budget turn table list from WhatHifi. Sounds great and we have it just plugged into a small Marshall speaker. Was the best price around too.
I was looking for a basic turntable, as I haven’t got a record collection anymore, but it was time to start bringing vinyl back, so this is a great little record player to start out with.I got some reasonably decent active speakers to go with, and I am satisfied with the sound. For the price you aren’t going to get better than this, it’s definitely worth buying if this is your budget.
This is an amazing little turntable. Bought it for the ability to record to mp3 as I produce a radio show and its easier to use this format. But this turntable exceeds its humbleness. It looks like a toy, as it's made of plastic but it is solid, and the cartridge is of good quality. It sounds better than other turntables that I have owned at more than double the price. Easy to operate, no tricky setting up just plug in and play. Highly recommended.
Bought this for my mums birthday…not know much about record players I read the description of this item before ordering and it has as follows:“The Lenco L-85 produces a beautiful sound, your kids will be amazed. You can also let them play a record themselves because the record player is easy to use.”It doesn’t produce any sound. It requires speakers so therefore the speakers would be producing this “beautiful sound” as well as the description stating “Surround Sound: N” this is very misleading.
I bought this for a bargain price as an upgrade to my Bush turntable which got me back into vinyl after years of being digital. What a difference it has made, the sound quality is amazing. I haven't used it for USB transfer, just as a standalone player through my Panasonic UX100 aux input which is all it's likely to be used for. The difference between the two is fullness of sound, this turntable is allowing me to hear all the different instruments as they are intended to be heard even at low volumes. The bass is richer and fuller and the trebles and mid range somehow clearer and cleaner, I may not be very good at describing how much better it is but if you're moving up from one of the more generic turntables that everyone seems to be selling then this is a very good ... MoreI bought this for a bargain price as an upgrade to my Bush turntable which got me back into vinyl after years of being digital. I totally agree with another review that it may not please the vinyl/audiophile snobs but I doubt you'll find anything close to this unit at this price, even double, maybe even triple.
Was bought as a Christmas present for my son. He's very happy with it, great sound and looks great too. Very happy with Robert Dyas, item arrived very quickly. I had a code for free delivery but couldn't find a box to input it but they kindly refunded delivery cost after sending them an email
I'd looked at a few stores' websites and visited stores and found nothing I liked the look of. I wanted something mid range price wise as I'd owned a cheap turntable which wasn't good and don't play vinyl that often. So when I saw this on Littlewoods site I liked the look of it. Well all I can say is I think I made the right choice. Great sound looks good, the only down side is that it doesn't play 78 rpm as I own a few!
