The Lenovo - Tab M10 FHD Plus - 10.3" - Tablet - 128GB is and example of Poor quality produce and Poor customer support. It gets old fast having to send in your purchase to be REPAIRED and getting it back and having it still do the same thing. It still goes black and you need to login again to continue what you are doing. I put it on the shelve thinking what a waste of over $200. A company today can't live on it's reputation if they sell junk. I have a Lenovo desktop That had to be replaced before it would even bootup, but the replacement, same model, is one of the best computers I have ever had, that is why I went for the Lenovo - Tab M10 FHD Plus. The Lenovo - Tab M10 FHD Plus is now not recognizing any sd card, new formated, ones with data or photos and users don't see the card in storage devices in the setup for any user or administrator.

I bought this tablet in 2021. It is built well and looks more expensive than the price would suggest. The speakers are good, but the screen is quite dim. I experience sudden re-starts daily. I am not sure if it a common issue. Browsing while playing a video file or YouTube in the background could be a chore. Google Chrome tends to freeze and I can bring it back to life through temporarily minimizing the window. When the screen is at it's peak brightness charging could take some time. Overall, it is not a bad tablet for the price, if it wasn't for the sudden restarts...

Don't waste your money, buy a different tablet

This tablet is an absolute piece of crap. I truly regret buying it. I purchased this a year ago to replace my Amazon Fire 8. I wanted a regular, full service tablet. Now I wish I had gotten the latest (at that time) Fire model. Or spent more to get a Samsung tablet (I don't use Apple products). This Lenovo, almost since day one, lags, freezes, takes forever to load web pages, has terrible battery life, and is a bit heavy so holding it one handed for a long period of time is virtually impossible. A charge lasts pretty well when not in use, but while using it, you'd be lucky to get four hours before having to plug it in. Yes, it's good looking and the screen colors are gorgeous but that doesn't make up for the aggravation that comes from using it. In fact, it froze ... MoreThis tablet is an absolute piece of crap. Yes, it's good looking and the screen colors are gorgeous but that doesn't make up for the aggravation that comes from using it. In fact, it froze twice while I was writing this review. Lenovo used to make such good stuff but they totally dropped the ball with this thing. I really did my homework and thought this was the best choice within my budget. I didn't return it because I naively thought that with time and usage, it would settle down. Boy, was I wrong. Save yourself the time, money, and aggravation and look for another tablet.

Great tablet, Alexa works with some quirks.

Tablet is great. Battery life very acceptable and unit is thin and comfortable. It's not an exceptionally fast Android device, but has reasonable responsiveness and adequately handles standard video/audio along with split screen multitasking. Screen clarity is excellent and the internal storage is great. The Alexa dock function is nice - although imperfect. Commands are understood and speaker quality is fine (albeit not in a forward firing stereo speakers - as one speaker appears to fire to the rear) It is frustrating that there seems to be no way to command the screen "off" or have it time out completely - no relevant settings exist under the Show app or Alexa app. (Asking Alexa to turn of the display has proven to turn into a pointless argument). Even after a power key press, the Show app continuously employs a "presence" detection through both the ambient light sensor and front camera - that wakes the display when you walk by. (while on the dock, I found that blocking both sensors is the only way to keep the screen off until a wake word is issued). This continual "screen on" state may be great for a device that is running solely from A/C power, however this device is continuously running from battery - and thus constantly pushing it through charge/discharge cycles. It does have a battery protection mode that will supposedly limit battery fatigue (assuming you are OK pulling it from the dock and having a remaining charge somewhere between only 40% and 60%). This should have been engineered differently to pull power from the dock while halting the battery charge - avoiding continual battery drain/charge cycles and the need for a "battery protection mode" at all. At an absolute minimum it should allow the screen to completely time-out and reduce the discharge rate - but this is impossible as the Alexa Show App forces a clock display for its screensaver. Of course, if you only use the dock infrequently or as a bluetooth speaker - it still makes for a nice add-on. One more very confusing aspect is the implementation of the Alexa Show app which seeming leverages the Alexa App underneath. However when the Alexa app is in the foreground, you effectively have 2 Alexas available within the same device. It's very strange - and I was actually able to drop-in from the Alexa app to my Alexa Show app (bothe within the tablet) - which as one might expect created an audio feedback loop. It's more of a laughable quirk than anything.

Hate this with a passion
28 April 2023

I have long been a Lenovo fan but this tablet is awful. Making a screenshot is a hassle, very awkward. Tapping to select almost anything is a hit and miss proposition. It freezes a lot. Sometimes I can't even shut the darn thing off. Once I buy a new tablet possibly not a Lenovo this time, I'm going to take this out and smash it with a hammer! I've never been so disappointed with other Noble product before. Also, I hate the charging station. It's not easy to get the tablet in the exact spot.

Nice Tablet. Awful WiFi!

I ordered two of these tablets. Nice display and docking station and solid, well-constructed tablet. I've had continuing and frustrating problems with WiFi on both tablets that I continue to troubleshoot by easter-egging. One worked fine on my 5GHz WiFI (but dropped intermittently), but wouldn't connect to my 2.4GHz WiFi. Second one wouldn't stay connected to either WiFi network. Returned the second one for a replacement. Replacement would drop 5GHz and connect to 2.4GHz, but would lock up and not function until I disconnected and reconnected. Finally, after reading Lenovo forums, I turned off Bluetooth on both tablets since it appears to interfere with 2.4GHz WiFi. Both tablets worked intermittently on both WiFi freqs. With 4GB memory and 64GB drive storage, the system itself functions snappy and fast, with multiple programs running watching a video and browsing with chrome or Firefox using dozens of tabs and almost no noticeable decline in speed; The tablet immediately updated to Android 10 and the software hardware interface work well together to manage memory and the processor keeps things running smoothly, even with my testing it beyond limits of everyday use with so many browser tabs and apps open at once; The screen is excellent quality with vibrant colors and a brightness all surpassing what one would expect for a sub-$200 tablet; I even connected usb flash drives using a USB-C adapter tip and was able to watch movies and shows off the portable drive and even copy them to my tablet or the extra 256GB micro SD card I bought to expand the storage from 64GB to to 320GB! The battery life is a little lacking at only 5000mAh, but it recharges quickly if you use a high wattage brick (15-20w) to plug the usb A—>C charging cable in.In Short This tablet Surpasses all reasonable expectations for a tablet at this price point; Don’t expect to be editing 4K 60FPS movies while on a zoom call and listening to Spotify, this isn’t an $1100 iPad; but for tinkering around on Android with access to a range of apps & more freedom than Apple allows for their OS, and great hardware and quality full HD screen, this is one of the most economical-bang for the buck- electronics I’ve ever purchased!

Just horrible. Outdated Android OS even when you do the update. Incredible amounts of bloatware pre-installed, all with notifications turned on by default so it constantly buzzes at you since day 1, tons of ads everywhere. The tablet has USB-C but the dock is USB mini (that must’ve saved like 2 cents?). Thick screen bezels. Slow boot up time. The UI is slow, overly saturated even after changing colour settings. The animations are choppy. Camera autofocus is slow specially in low-light. Face-unlock is unreliable. But the speakers are good and get quite loud, and wireless charging is a good hard-to-find feature.
