Great monitor, but has a few bugs and a few things that should be changed. Have a button to switch the USB and screen inputs at the same time. This is a very nice monitor. I bought it to pair with a Mac. The Thunderbolt 4 does not work with legacy Macs that have Thunderbolt 1 or 2. I tried Thunderbolt using Apple's Thunderbolt 2 to 3 adapter with a 2013 Mac Pro and a 2012 MacBook Pro and it does not work. Neither the display or the built-in dock. It does work with an M1 Mac mini that has Thunderbolt 3. Both the display and dock work. So Thunderbolt 1 & 2 Macs not working is probably a software limitation on Apple's end. There are a couple defective pixels, but they are so small they are hard to see; so I'm not going to worry about it. When I bought the older P27u-10 the first one they sent me had dead pixels too and the 2nd one is great with zero dead pixels. So I suppose monitors in general are hit or miss. I think you'll be happy once you get a good one. I checked out Apple's Studio Display at the Apple Store today and I wasn't impressed with it. It was very thick also. This Lenovo display is a much better value, especially with the built-in Thunderbolt 4 dock!

No KVM), or Xiaomi Mi 4K Professional Display XMMNT27NU (~$550 USD equivalent in CNY) if you're in Asia Pacific. No KVM). Outside of those, most other monitors with similar performance and features are in the $1000-1500+ range like the ones based off variants of a 2304 zone MiniLED panel from BOE, a high refresh 576 zone MiniLED panel from AUO, or OLED panels. If this model's an indicator of its successor, the Lenovo ThinkVision P27pz-30, I'd be cautious of that one as well.

I chose this 34'' wide monitor mainly for it's capability for acting as a dock while using with a laptop with thunderbolt 4 connection. It transmits 65w by default over thunderbolt which can be bumped to 96watts after selecting from the on screen menu of monitor. The option to split the screen is great as well. After splitting the screen the laptop recognizes this monitor as two physical monitors which makes it very useful. I use it mainly for office productivity and not perform any creative work and it looks great for what I do. This monitor sits on a desk which is 48" wide and 24" deep and works great for me. The stand is able to raise, lower, tilt up,down and, rotate left,right. Curvature of the screen is very low and barely noticeable during use.

It is a matte finish screen and has pretty small bezels and is very adjustable. I also like the slot on the base that I can stick my cell phone in as a stand. Very nice touch! I didn't like the calibration out of the box (it did include a report on the calibration, but it felt a little too warm to me) and I'm not using this for any hyper critical color work, so I played with the settings a bunch and got it to match pretty closely to my iMac's monitor and that works for me just nice. brightness is supposedly less than the iMac Pro monitor, but I have my iMac at about 40% ... MoreThis is a very nice monitor. I just like the crispness of the monitor for text and graphics. Very nice and well worth even the $750 I was considering spending on it. Oh, I did play around with rotating this when I was first setting it up just to see what that was like and I felt like it wouldn't lock in at exactly 90 degrees when I put it in portrait mode (it seemed to want to be very slightly crooked and I felt that it would need some modification to get it to exactly 90 degrees for portrait mode) and that was the only negative thing about it for me, but I'm planning to keep it in horizontal mode all the time, so not a deal breaker, but I'm mentioning it just in case it helps someone.

Overall recommendation: If you're looking for a 4K monitor that's 1,fairly large 2. has a lot of ports available 3. is height/tilt/orientation-adjustable 4. has great color coverage I would recommend this monitor (especially if you can get a good deal on it).

The screen is gorgeous, satin/matte finish works great in a home office, and matches my other calibrated monitors acceptably. The Lenovo software to manage settings works well and IMO better than Dell's. It arrived with no dead pixels, and was surprisingly good for games (no real ghosting, overdrive works). Where I had an issue is the "one click switch" feature described in the manual. The (thin) manual made it seem like it was a one-click KVM-style switch between a Thunderbolt input and a Video Input. This was actually one of the reasons i bought the monitor, as several direct competitors have a KVM feature (BENQ PD3220 etc). However the one-click switch only changes what USB device is being "hubbed" by the monitor (Thunderbolt vs USB-B). So really it's a 3 or 4 click switch between computers using the monitor, as you must change the video input as well as the USB input. Not a deal breaker, just more fiddly than I wanted. Speaking of fiddly, the Thunderbolt daisy-chain needs some "coaxing" to get started and some "nudging" every once an while. I have to occasionally unplug the TB-out and plug it back in for the second manager to be seen by windows. To get things started, I had to switch the P32u from DP1.2 to 1.1, then back again. Again, not the end of the world but annoying. Ultimately I'm happy with the purchase, it just took a bit to get going, and the polish on the OSD menu and features could use some work. maybe that's addressed in the newer iteration of this monitor, I don't know. Alos of not, and no fault of the monitor itself, but Lenovo could work on, was that UPS completely trashed the first monitor I ordered. Something sharp had pierced the box and screen surface complete, and I had to exchange it. But the whole "exchange" process was drawn out, involving a new quote, and waiting nearly a week for the RMA, etc etc etc. And after all that the second monitor arrived in a damaged box as well, but thankfully with the monitor intact.
I originally bought this monitor for my son who is studying photography. After testing it out, I think I might be stealing it from him. To test it a thunderbolt 2 raid is plugged into the monitor with an Apple adapter. When I turn on my MacBook Pro 16 everything starts up together. I also have other external usb drives, a scanner and my time machine drive all hooked up at the same time. A note on the display. Great colour for the price. Adobe RGB for under $1k…amazing when working with photos. Contrary to some reviews I read, I find the menu simple to navigate…and I had the monitor assembled and running with all or my devices in 15 minutes. I even plugged my studio monitors directly in to see if he could do the same. I will be buying him a hood, but was told that it is unavailable through Lenovo, which is slightly disappointing.
I bought this monitor for my wife's home office. The monitor itself is excellent, but a couple issues hold it back from getting 5 stars in a home office environment: The enormous lazy susan style base is probably great in a conference room, but it also makes it impossible to push the monitor as far back against the wall as my wife would like in her office. The built in USB hub is quite convenient and was one of the selling points of the monitor for us, but we discovered that certain devices (such as a webcam) draw enough power to cause connection issues for the other connected devices. After a couple weeks of experimentation, we were able to diagnose and resolve this by plugging the webcam into the designated higher power USB port. Monitor image quality is good, monitor design is nice, but these things are LOUD. The electric whirring and buzzing is very noticeable. Especially when monitors are powered off, and especially when they’re connected to a computer on sleep mode, like a Mac via Thunderbolt cables. (A Google search will reveal others with the same issue) I decided to just put up with it because I bought two and didn’t want to go through the trouble. I attempted to alleviate it by covering one corner of the vents with a back strip of neoprene, which helped some. This might not be great for heat ventilation, but there are so many vents I decided to take the risk to reduce the buzzing.
